This place was incredible! Some of the best food I've ever had (the desert was just ok 😊). The service was so incredible and kind and fast. The atmosphere and ambiance of the restaurant was also top notch. I will absolutely be returning!

Most of The flavours were on point . My fav was the Lamb hummus dish, it was incredible. Other good dishes were , broccoli cauliflower , kafta, beets and pickled veggies. The apple dish was terrible. What bothered me was the 8$ pilsner in the can. I mean cmon. 8 bucks for canned beer and 14 $ tiny cocktail... . Ridiculous. It's portland not San Francisco. I wanted to leave 3 star because of that but the staff was wonderful. I really Really appreciated the great service .

Tusk was a great dining experience for us. We loved the food here and the ambience is also great. We enjoyed each and every item we ordered. Their falafel is a must have, we loved how crunchy it was from outside and soft from inside with other sauces on the side. Second I would recommend is their lamb belly. It was so delicious and the creamy potato on the side was also just the perfect heavenly combo anyone can serve 😍 I have been recommending my friends visiting Portland to definitely stop here.

One of Portland’s top restaurants. Great for a large group and sharing small plates family-style. The kafta was my favorite dish - a perfect juxtaposition of textures and spices. The Brussels sprouts were also somehow the star of the show. I’d also recommend a hummus plate or two if you’re here with a group. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with any dishes here. I’d highly recommend this spot to any of my friends or family and I will definitely be back soon.

Tusk was just as delicious as we had heard about. It was our 1st time and the food was soooo good. Very unique wine list which is exciting. Service was good. Atmosphere was a little lacking-- it was very cold in the main area of the restaurant with a bit of a no music / silent vibe. If music was playing I couldn't hear it. Back to the food! Amazing: Baked cheese, Hummus, sauces -zhoug & chili oil, rice, pita, beef & chicken kabobs, collards greens & chicken peas, and falafel. Everything was great! The greens were surprisingly amazing and I'm a fan of traditional southern collard greens, wow these were surprisingly fantastic. Hummus was some of the best I have had. When we got our bill, our waitress told us the 20% tip that was already added on was "for the kitchen only", so this was disappointing. Places like Nostrana do this but are up front and not deceiving about it. The additional tip line is for the server but by her saying the added in tip was for the kitchen only then makes u think she needs an additional 20%. So we're we supposed to tip $50 on a just over $100 bill. I doubt that and if that's true then we wouldn't chose to return in the future. According to the website it's split between all hourly employees. So kinda bummed it ended this way. Otherwise, we would come back for the food!

I was blown away by the fast and personable service and beautiful and clean restaurant, and that was before the food even came out! My family choose the "let us cook for you" experience and it was one I'll never forget. Not only did they come out with the appetizer course quickly, but they timed the rest of the dishes to come out with enough of a break in between. The spread for the appetizer took up the whole table and every item in the entire 4 courses was so delicious that I am looking forward to my next visit here.

When you first walk in the aesthetic is very hip and modern. Everything we ordered was delicious however, there is quite a size difference in the main course options. The kafta is more like an expensive appetizer than a main course, seasoned well but it’s a thin ground meat patty that comes with a pita and some whipped feta. My partner thought it was a side dish. Versus the chicken plate that is huge, half a chicken with a full side of potatoes and mushrooms. The snap pea salad was my favorite item we ordered but was also quite small for the price. The service was wonderful, everyone working there that we talked to was very friendly and good at their jobs.

Had a great brunch with my wife. We got the Shakshouka, baked cheese, and a cardamom apple fritter. The food was all great. The offered crackers to replace the bread when I asked about gluten-free options was very appreciated. The server was very nice and did a good job checking in. It looks like the have some intentional acoustic design in the room, but it misses the mark at low frequencies because it was sometimes hard to hear each other speaking. It might have been the bass on the sound system being a little high. All told it was a great experience and we're planning to come back.

Woooow, Tusk is SO GOOD!! Had the $55 menu and enjoyed trying everything they have. The staff is beyond amazing, super nice and everyone has a great personality. 10/10 would recommend! And plenty of vegetarian options.

Hello one and all! Gather around, because this meal is a spectacle that you simple can’t miss! As two quirky besties (only one pictured) reunited for a dinner of a lifetime, this was everything we could have expected, but mostly things we didn’t. And we loved it, because we love to stay guessing. We were greeted cordially at the door, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and bright. Despite it being May, it felt just like late summertime. Who doesn’t love that? We ordered the Deluxe, which is everything on the menu; and MAN, was that a Trojan horse because it was *everything* on the menu. We especially loved the direction that the “whole at the table must participate,” and participate we DID! We ate until we were Tony-hawk-pro-skater SICK. And then the main course came! Absolutely everything was fantastic (we especially recommend the Berbere spiced Kafta and the Labneh). The service was also incredible! Our server, Mitch, took good care of us on this adventure. He was like a lighthouse in the storm. We can’t recommend him enough! Please go to this restaurant, we entreat you!! Thank you Tusk + staff for your endless positive qualities.

As someone with a severe nut allergy, navigating a veggie-forward, vegan-friendly restaurant with nut liquor cocktails is always a risky game. The minute our server came to our table, my fears were quickly allayed. Rachel and the rest of the Tusk team went above and beyond to make sure I knew they were handling my issues seriously. Besides the incredible service, every single plate was absolutely delicious! The “try everything” option on the menu is an absolute steal and 100% worth it! 10/5 stars. Can’t wait to come back!

Nice cute place for brunch. The food was good, reasonable price, great service! We had fun eating brunch and chatting with friends here, they were very to let us stay for a long time like hours and didn’t come to disturb us.

Tusk was one of the best Mediterranean food Ive had. Location was great, easy to get to when you are in the East side. Lovely, cozy and spacious. Staff service was excellent, all smiles, attentive and very genuine. Helped me picked the best out of the menu in my pov Food: the Chicken skewer was amazing, tender flavourful and the side dipping sauce yummy. The hummus is your typical hummus but warm flatbread was very comforting. Outstanding was the sunchoke, it was simple not your everyday meal and fresh grilled veggies ftw! Overall my experience dining at Tusk was great! Will come back again :)

Tusk has a very nice atmosphere. We were. A group of six here for brunch in a sat. We had a reservation so there was no wait. Didn’t seem too busy. I got the biscuits and gravy which I found to be on the saltier side. Another person also ordered the same and felt the same. Others in the group did love what they got including the Sando, falafel burger and the mimosas.

We visited Tusk on a Friday evening and decided to do the deluxe dining option. I think it was a great value for 12 dishes! Some dishes were good, others were excellent. If you’re willing to be flexible, I definitely think it’s the route to go. Favorite dishes included the delicata squash, hummus and pita, baked feta, and pistachio cake. Lots of great vegetarian and vegan options which I always really appreciate!

I prefer to take out and eat in the comfort of my own home (cough* bed* cough) but on vacation we decided to go with the experience of eating at a way nicer restaurant than we normally would...so keep that in mind... first...Why must every nice restaurant have such dark lighting? I felt like I could barely see and I don't have vision issues. We did the preset menu and it was nice not having to make a decision on what to eat, though I'm not sure why each course doesn't come with a food guide...is that a thing? They come to the table and rattle off a million things about 10 different dishes and sauces and you're expected to just... remember? So, I don't really even know what I ate. Everything was good, several things were great ...but I couldn't tell you what lol. Also it was weird they give you a taste of like every appetizer but only one protein choice? Also disappointed that the desserts that came with our meal were the two that looked less appealing. We were not fans of the cannoli thing...that was the only thing we didn't care to finish or take home. Overall the food was good...some things were great, but my personal preference would be to just get a combo plate for a quarter of the price at any number of other Mediterranean/middle eastern spots around. But if you're the type of person that has the financial means and a taste for slightly novel flavors this would be a good choice!

Great place for dinner and drinks. Tusk G&T (gin and tonic) was delicious. Hibiscus infused gin with a hint of sweetness. Baked cheese, chicken skewers and the pita bread were my favorites.

Had brunch and ordered the shakshuke Verde. My friend has the breakfast plate that was a nice variety of things.. It was good I think I needed more pita. Coffee was good as well. Excellent service and really nice bathrooms.

SO DELICIOUS! especially the cheese melt 🤤. Steak was tender and delicious (didn't enjoy the cold potatoes) and the tomato salad was fantastic. Tusk is a must try

Dinner was fantastic. We did the preset menu. The down part is the entire table has to agree on main, it would be nice if you could have a couple of choices, especially if you have a large table. We had a table for 10. Everything that was served prior to main was delicious. Main was also delicious, but serving of main was very small. We had lamb, and it was so good, but it was filled with bones, and we all had a few bites each at best. That was the consensus of the entire table. Would definitely go back, and I enjoyed the atmosphere. Drinks were also fantastic!

This is a classy upscale restaurant. Really happy I found this one! They have a relatively small menu but the food is tasty! Expect to pay $60-80 per person but definitely visit!

Excellent, friendly, knowledgeable staff. Wonderful open dining room. We tried three cocktails and all were nuanced and delicious. The Food was well portioned and interesting the lamb pork belly skewer was off the hook. I just really want to highlight how great our server and the rest of the staff was! We had a great time will definitely go back

Great service and atmosphere. A bit overpriced considering their portion sizes and selections. Not saying you need to serve in heaps but there's room for improvement. The desert we had from the secret menu was not impressive. Hopefully they'll add more selections in the future.

Great food, great atmosphere! Servers were very attentive to my boyfriend's tree nut allergy. I'd recommend ordering the Grand Mezze Platter, enough food for two people and lots of vegetarian options. We will definitely be back next time we're in Portland!

This is probably one of the best Mediterranean restaurants I have been to in the Pacific Northwest. My favorite was the grand mezze platter which had many interesting options and each item carried a unique flavor. The vegetarian entree i.e. wild rice pilaf was quite flavorful as well, however I felt it had way too many almonds which overpowered the dish. The service was quick and the waiters were helpful. Ambience is super cozy and romantic as well

I love you, Tusk!!!!! The Hazy Jane was my main reason for coming here. It was way better than expected. Best dining experience I had in Portland. Everything was delicious and well balanced. Great selection for vegetarians/others with dietary restrictions. Nothing was a miss. I even purchased their signature scent candle. 💕

Such a fun dining experience! We had the tasting menu which was $55 per person and it was incredible. Everyone at the table has to do it because everyone shares the dishes family style. (You definitely have to feel comfortable eating from the same bowls as your table companions!) The value is amazing because you get to try every appetizer, one main, two salads and both desserts. We left absolutely stuffed and had leftovers! Going with 4 people made it a super fun way to try everything. Atmosphere is relaxed but luxurious - highly recommend sitting outside in their charming patio. Service was great. Bring good company and an emptying stomach!

Delightful ambience and delicious food. We had the deluxe menu where it’s a sampling of all their small plates and OOOOOOOHBOY was it good. Such a variety of textures and flavors that were distinct, yet complemented each other perfectly. The staff were all so friendly as well!! We will definitely return soon!

I looked up unique restaurants and Tusk came up. They have great cocktails. There was even a beautiful non-alcoholic beet and ginger beer drink. We chose to order family style. We ordered the Mezze as a started. It was wonderful. Beets in a yogurt sauce, tabbouleh with quinoa. The Flatbread was steamy hot when it arrived. Nummy.

My girlfriend and I went here for dinner tonight and we had an amazing experience. The kitchen was able to accommodate her extreme dietary restrictions which was astonishing and very appreciative. It was also cool to see what creative thing they could come up with! This is the test of a true kitchen. Thank you to Tyler and the rest of the staff you guys are amazing!

I love Tusk. Any time I have out of town guests visiting I take them there, and will continue to do so. I was excited that they started doing a sampler menu (you get a taste of all the starters/apps, one entree, and both desserts, at ~$55 per person). It is an experience and the food is amazing. That said I’ve done it twice, once with 2 people and once with 3, and we got the exact same amount of food both times - not per person but absolute volume of food. With 2 we had leftovers and with 3 we had none. I’d absolutely do it again but only with an even number of people.
