This cafe is an absolute gem. The vibe is absolutely lovely, the service was amazing and the food was some of the best I've had in Portugal! The best part for me was that everything is gluten free and almost everything is vegan. We also had a wonderful sake. I would give this place 6 stars if I could. Hoping to come back soon!

As other who reviewed this place, we were amazed at how tranquil and calming the food experience can be. Delicious from start to end and great atmosphere in this little hidden gem in Porto.

This place is amazinggggg. I had the salad of the day and a mushroom rice ball and the flavors were mind-blowing! Perfectly balanced and also presented very nicely (I'm a visual person). I visited this place based on an insider's tip from a local guide and he definitely knew what he was talking about.

What an oasis. We went for tea and dessert. As others mentioned all details are attended to - from the warmed ceramic tea cups to the beauty and taste of all elements of dessert. And service by co-owner/chef Sako

What a gem! Tucked away in a tiny courtyard behind a store you'll find delicious food and a lovely couple who run the place. The two of them are friendly, warm people who then also know all about their food, which have I mentioned is yum? The Japanese food is crafted with care, even using local rice, which was surprisingly very ... yes, delicious. The tea selection kind represents the place well by itself: there is one green tea, a black one, one oolong, only one pu-erh, etc, but each chosen with purpose, love it. They also have deserts that looked good but I'll have to go back to try those. FYI, you'll have to enter and pass through the store in front, the café is at the back of it. Musubu is the kind of place that I hesitate to review because I kind of want it to stay a hidden gem. ;) But then, sharing is loving so there you go. Will be back!

I had a great experience at this cafe! The atmosphere in the backyard of the shop was relaxed and comfortable. I was impressed by the high quality of the coffee they served - it was brewed perfectly and tasted amazing. The Japanese rice balls were a standout dish for me - the filling was flavorful and the rice was cooked to perfection. I would definitely recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a cozy spot to enjoy delicious food and drinks.

An authentic paradise inside the city. It's not only the amazing food or tea, it's the whole experience.

Really enjoyed coming here for lunch, took me a while to figure out this was located at the back of a shop but I’m glad I came here. Omosubi was bursting with flavours!

The owners are a lovely couple. Each course is made with love and contains various flavours. For example, the salad on the photo. There are apples and some seaweed (sorry, I don’t remember exact name), I have never expected these two ingredients good together, but it works! Real art of cooking.

Words can't describe how good the food is here. The Japanese curry and the omusubi rice balls are from out of this world. The chef is the nicest person. Just everything is perfect here 💞

Loved it! Was browsing in a store and was like…what is that in the back? A freakin’ Japanese vegetarian restaurant. The whole vibe was peaceful, food was excellent and husband/wife team were lovely. A special place!

Wow! The menu is mostly vegan and gluten-free utilizing delicious, local ingredients like rice grown in the Algarve region. The location and service are so serene. Perfect place to grab a healthy bite between shopping & sightseeing.
