I went on Friday at 23h30. You have to pay the entrance (a drink is included). 10€ or 12€ with cruising or 15€ with cruising and after. The place is clean but without any atmosphere. The place was desert, i saw only 3 clients in total when I left at 1am. I saw more staff walking arround than clients. Advice: When you have so few clients and so many employees, try to speak with your clients, to make them welcome, instead of gossip them. I felt like if employees had their own party , and clients being the intruders. At the end i did not go to the cruising place, alone it is hardly possible. The show with drag was supposed to start at 1h00, nothing happened. At the end i asked when people where supposed to come, i have been told around 5am. So what is the point paying 15 euros if you benefit only from the after and not the party and cruising? So my advice, make the entrance free and do not deseapoint your eventual clients. Only positive point, at least the guy at the entrance was really nice and client oriented.

O L'UOMO é simplesmente incrível! Este bar no centro do Porto, próximo ao Bolhão, oferece um espaço acolhedor e confortável para homens gays desfrutarem da companhia um do outro. Foi a minha primeira experiência em um local desse tipo, e confesso que fui com receio, mas acabei adorando e retornei no dia seguinte com outros amigos. Uma das coisas que me impressionou foi o valor extremamente acessível para entrar, com apenas um consumo mínimo de 5€. Além disso, o bar está aberto 24 horas por dia, de sexta a segunda-feira. Isso oferece muita flexibilidade para aproveitar o espaço e as experiências que ele proporciona. A limpeza do L'UOMO é impecável, e o staff está sempre preocupado em garantir que todos se sintam bem-vindos e confortáveis. A decoração é maravilhosa, criando um ambiente aconchegante e convidativo. Gostaria de destacar o Lucas, um dos sócios do bar, que tive o prazer de conhecer. We were walking towards the door, and we smelled cigarettes; we thought at the beginning some people were smoking outside, and once we entered, the smell of cigarettes was terribly strong. We asked about the smell, and the guy at the reception, who was not friendly at all, told us there’s smoking place downstairs, so we decided to leave.

I was with my boyfriend in Porto for a few days and we were looking for a gay bar to have some drinks and found these good reviews about L’UOMO so we decided to give it a go. We struggled finding the place at first but when we got in we realised why, this is a cruising bar… we decided not to go in and we have nothing bad to say ao out the place, it isn’t just what we were looking for or expected it to be… plus the Google location type says “gay bar”, but hey if this is your thing, you should try! There are good reviews here so it must be a good place if that’s your thing! :)

Excellent place for some fun, with friendly and helpful staff, a mandatory visit in Porto. Great bar!
