Amazing food and service! Big thank you to our waitress Rose for being extremely helpful and going above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect. The restaurant also had a really nice gesture with us by offering two complimentary glasses of their own sparkling wine (which is outstanding!) and dessert. All in all, one of the best restaurants in Porto - cannot find one single fault. We look forward to visiting again!

Firstly big thanks to the staff for squeezing us in last minute! I appreciate how hard this would have been as when we arrived at 7pm for opening there was a queue outside! The perfect service from all the members of staff, we were greeted warmly and offered to choose the table we wanted. We were given complimentary appetisers and a glass of fiz as we sat down. The waiters were amazing, talking us through the menu and informing us what they would recommend. We ordered a seafood starter and black Angus steak for the main course. Both incredible and big enough to share between two people. The steak was cooked to perfection and I can honestly say was possibly the best steak I have ever eaten. The wine pairing was perfect also. Icing on the cake when we asked for the cheque we were given a complimentary desert that resembled a birds nest including egg but in fact it was a triumphant mix of ice cream sponge and crispy wafer like twigs. Amazing… cannot recommend highly enough deserves such a high rating.

We were in Porto for 3 days and came here for dinner twice, it is THAT good. Service is also excellent, everyone makes you feel welcomed. The highlight of our meal was definitely the walnut cake. Sublime.

Seated right next to Tasco is a wonderful steakhouse called Muu. You should try to get a reservation. However, if they are fully booked (likely booked a week in advance for my visit) don’t fret, you can wait to see if they have no-shows with a nice glass of their in-house sparkling wine. The front of house staff is the best. They were very welcoming and were immaculate in decorum. Honestly, I have nothing negative to say about this place. The Tomahawk steak was cooked perfectly for my choosing (raw) and seasoned to perfection. Wine selection is broad and accommodating for every palate. Dessert was so simple yet so tasty. I have no idea what it was. There were hazelnuts and I forgot to take a picture, so apologies. Just go here.

I don't know where to start… First of all, the welcome is just incredible, and then we were served by Gabriel and his team who are simply the most professional, dedicated, passionate, and kind people I have ever seen in a restaurant. And then comes the meal... I can't find the words to explain how much we enjoyed ourselves… if heaven exists, I think we were there. The quality of the meat and the cooking was perfect; I've eaten meat all around the world... and never, never as good as here. The desserts are also outstanding. The wines are excellent and very well recommended. What an experience; I have never felt so many emotions while eating a meal, not just because of the quality of the food but also because of the fantastic team who take such great care of you. If I could give 6, 7,... stars, I would do it without hesitation. My God, I'm repeating myself, but what an incredible experience. The location/decor is also top, even the toilets are amazing. I would fly back and forth just to dine at this restaurant, it's that exceptional.

Lucky lucky us…getting in without reservation!! We had to wait one hour for a table (10 pm > 11 pm), but got a starter and dessert from the house and were treated like real friends. The staff helped us with our choice of meat and wine and were treated so personable by each member of staff. The service here is 5*. Even at the end of service the chef spoke with us to make sure everything was of the finest quality. This team is hungry to be the best and to us, have reached the top of Porto restaurants. Would recommend to everyone. Our only learning is to book in advance! ;)

Great steakhouse. We were met with a glass of sparkling wine when we arrived. The staff are just amazing. Steak was perfectly cooked. Most of the steaks are for two, but you can get the steak cooked to different temperatures. Be sure to try a bottle of their wine.

Eating at Muu Steakhouse was more than dinner, it was an entire experience. We arrived a little earlier than expected so we were greeted with a glass of their own Muu Steakhouse brand champagne while we were waiting for our table to clear. When our table was ready, we were guided to our table. At the table we were greeted by an appetiser, on the house. We weren’t sure what to eat so our waiter took the time to help us decide on what was best for our company by giving us some examples and stories of other guests. We ordered the T-bone steak, which was more than enough to share with 2, with a side of rice. The rice was of a pretty good quantity for 2 people but apparently we got slightly less than usual. You know how they fixed this? They gave us another portion of rice on the house. The staff kept on checking if everything was in order, if it wasn’t then they would’ve replaced it in a heartbeat. The food was amazing, the meat was cooked exactly like we asked and the portions matched with the description we got from our waiter. All in all an amazing experience, props to the owner and the staff for giving us the best culinary experience in Porto. I’ve attached some pictures of the food in this review but rest assured, it tasted even better than it looked.

The service is outstanding, you arrive to a complimentary glass of fizz, our waitress assisted in our food choices for the evening and wow she did not disappoint us. She was incredibly attentive and it added such a personal touch to our evening. The T-Bone steak was out of this world, cooked perfectly alongside creamed spinach and fries. The starters of burrata and Johnny scotch (their take on the scotch egg) started our evening and we were overwhelmed. The desserts - the walnut cake!!!!!! We could not fault the evening. Imagine Michelin star without the pretentiousness! We will be back! Thank you.

Wow what an experience. After a whole week in Porto with bad service and bad food, my wife and I were a bit burned out. On our last night in town, we happened across this restaurant. We lucked out and were seated without reservation within fifteen minutes. The owner and the staff were all delightful. The food was absolutely smashing. The ribeye melts in your mouth. The wine is delicious and paired nicely. My wife and I are on a world food tour and now the city of Porto has been saved for us thanks to Muu.

This restaurant deserves a Michelin star! The food was incredibly tasty but the highlight of the night was the service. The owners and the staff go out of their way to give you an incredible experience. I was smiling throughout the meal because of the service. I cannot wait to go back and I will be telling everyone I know visiting Porto to make sure to go to MUU.

Every single member of the staff were so warm, friendly, and attentive that we genuinely felt special the entire time. From cooking our single steak to two different temps (to accommodate us and without our asking), to offering to re-warm our steak half way in, to the free sparkling wine, sides, and desserts thrown in (because we just have to try), we found ourselves audibly saying “wow” over and over. I was wondering how it’s possible for a restaurant to have 4.9 stars. But now I understand! This was one of our best experiences we had in a restaurant! Carlos is one of a kind waiter that you’ll find nowhere else! Direct and extroverted but also so very kind! He made the evening better than we could’ve imagined! He advised us on point on what to order and was in for every joke we made. It was my partner’s birthday and since he doesn’t like attention, I asked the restaurant beforehand to discreetly help me to make him feel special, which they managed like no one else! It's a really cool restaurant with a team of staff who really enjoy working there and it shows in both the service and the quality of food. Everything on the menu sounds amazing but we tried the mixed seafood starter and the ribeye steak with a couple of sides. The steak was excellent, really good quality meat and cooked and seasoned perfectly and well worth the price. The menu choice is excellent and they have a really good wine list, they also do great cocktails. We were gifted a glass of sparkling wine on the way in, a little meat croquette and bread with two really good butters while you're browsing the menu and a complimentary taster of one of the desserts which were all really nice touches and much appreciated. we booked Muu months ahead knowing this place gets busy during the summer months.. we made an effort to make this reservation as we knew we would probably need a 'change of pace' in our restaurant selections from the usual portuguese di ing scene (our day 10). Muu did not disappoint even if our group of 4 only had 2 appetizers, a txuleton 900g (bone in ribeye), rice and creamed spinach. For us, the portions were ample and taste was superb. The Txuleton although a bit sinewy :( on some bites was really exhibiting natural 'beefy' taste. This is expected of grass fed cows and I had to let our group know that this is quite normal of european steaks.. Kudos as well on the side of rice with chorizo and parsely was just divine. Lastly, getting served by Joăo aka 'Antonio Banderas' made it quite an entertaining night for us. He was knowledgeable and helpful about the menu and the beef. He also made every effort that we were much obliged guests and even followed us out in the streets to say thank you! We will be back next time for sure!
