The pictures when booking during the room selection stage do not match reality. booked Porto trip as a birthday surprise expecting amazing view and ended up in tiny room on the ground floor with view to dark alley and wall. “Apartment” is one room with fold up bed that almost touches the kitchen, photos are very deceiving and taken with the bed folded up so you don’t realise it’s only one room, with the bed out it’s so small is difficult to walk around in. Room is old, broken worktop glass in the kitchen side of the room. Bathroom has lots of mould and shower only points at the ceiling when switched on. So so disappointed and feel conned as we specifically selected the room in the room selection stage with photos of a great view that said “we dare you to enjoy a glass of port with this view”. We complained but they were not helpful at all and offered no change of room or compensation. Very very disappointing. So glad we only had 2 nights and then moved to another apartment near by which was cheaper and much much better.

While the location and views are spectacular, the "apartment" we booked didn't appear anything like the photos. Thinking we were booking a 1-bedroom apartment (since the listing described a "1 bedroom apartment), it turns out this actually means "1 bed"). We opened the door to a small studio with a murphy bed and sofa to sleep on. These took up all the space in the room and overall it felt very snug -- and low ceilings instead of the high ceilings that appeared in the photos. We contacted the property after checking in and they were not able to accommodate any change to the booking. We had to leave and book elsewhere -- not ideal when you've already arrived in the city you're staying in -- they did eventually issue a refund but only after repeated follow-up.

The view from our room is nice. Our room is not too spacious but is equipped with kitchen and has one double bed and one single bed. The staff is kind and helpful. The apartment is conveniently located near the city center and San Bento train station. Some part of the neighborhood might not be the best in the city but it did not cause any problems to us. However, hot water ran out after 11pm during our stay and it was inconvenient for us. I hope the owner can improve the hot water supply.

Fantastic location. Just open your window and you will have a fantastic medieval tower ( XI century ) 5 meters aways from your finger tip. A magical atmosphere involves Oporto historical centre, and it's an amazing experience to stay in this area. Underground station São Bento is a 5 min walk from the flat. The flat itself is kind of perfect. The historical centenarian building has been completely and carefully renovated to give birth to these touristic flats.

The apartment is located in the beautiful old town. View from the window is amazing, surrounding is beautiful, right next to the Cathedral. Room is clean and well organized. There is no elevator, the stairs is quite small, so if you are carrying heavy luggages, be prepared for the work out! Staff is very nice and helpful, they offer information and recommendations of the city. If you need any information, just ask! There will be an additional tourist tax to be paid in cash on arrival, so prepare some cash on check-in. Front desk office hours only from 11am to 8pm. If you arrive later or before than that, make sure you get the password for the front gate so you can get in and get your keys in the mail box!

Stayed here for 2 nights while in Porto recently. Pedro and team were really good with communications before we arrived and extremely helpful with tips on where to go around town. Apartment was clean, in good condition and we had an amazing view of the city. Tip: make sure to access the apartments through the cathedral grounds.

Compact apartment in a great location. We weren't told that the front desk opens only at 10 am. We reached there at 9 am and waited for an hour.
