Lovely park with Saturday market nearby the sea. Great vibe during the Sunny weekend. We can take tourist tram or bus to access easily from the center.

Came across this park by chance. Took the old tram from the city center to the end of the river/beach. Most people didn't even walk through but rather walked along the boulevard next to the river, which is a shame because this park is very beautiful. Very aesthetically pleasing with vibrantly colored flowers and fountains. There is more than enough seating and lots of places to dispose of trash. It is kept very clean and tidy. There's public toilets for men and women in a yellow and purple building in the middle of the park. The toilet has a sign saying it's 0,20 Euro cents but there was no one there when I went. The same building also has information folders about the park which is really nice, and there's also a historical toilet and washbasin that is protected behind glass. Even the toilets were made in the blue tile style, very cool.

Great spot for a walk or just to sit and relax. Walk from the vintage tram to the beach and sea front through the gardens and remember the food and craft markets on Sundays excellent local snacks and drinks plus local crafts for sale.

A beautiful stop in Porto to see the mouth of the Duoro River. Not only is the river view stunning, but the park is a lush, shaded retreat. And while using the public restroom will cost you 0.50 Euro, they have a unique porcelain feature.

Love this park. Really close to the sea and river. Kids have plenty of space to walk around and play ball and adults space to relax and read a book (or whatever else you fancy). On Sundays there is a nice small market that is worth stopping by

A natural gem in the city. At the point where the river merges into the sea and in front of the view of the city of Gaia and Porto, stands this amazing garden.

It is an amazing public garden. Great sunset views. Jog/Running track along the sea. It is a great place to take a peaceful stroll away from the crowded city centre. You can also see the historic tram that runs between the historic centre of Porto and the garden of Passeio Alegre on a single path along the banks of the River Douro.

Beautiful area with plenty of green parks and beaches. The sunset at the lighthouse is a must. Many good italian restaurants and sea-side bars and restaurants as well. Great for taking a walk. I recommend getting there from Porto by Uber or streetcar if you want the experience.

Did the trip here on the Tram (line 1) think it was 3 Euros each way, and had a nice walk in the Sun. Nice park and seafront, but limited options for eating out.

Highly recommend for a walk and to see the sunset. Just find the right place (see photo) 😉. The palm trees give it a "Tropical" Style and, nowadays, you can ear and see lots of green parakeets there.

Lovely green space with big old trees and beautiful architecture just by the river and its foz. Good for a stroll with family and loved ones on a hot summer day. Great accessible nature infused family fun with a mini golf course and great ice-cream parlour nearby.

September. The temperature is cooler, the park is not busy, and it's a nice place to kick a ball around or have a picnic. No playgrounds but there is a mini golf. Side notes: VERY dog friendly. no tables, bring a picnic blanket or eat on the bench. Also close to the electric train(tram) and beach. Many options at this park.
