Xavier
was
founded;
It
is
to
be
presumed
to
have
been
by
the
years
1661
or
1662,
with
our
backs
threatened
by
the
Armada
da
Galicia
(Henrique
Duarte
de
Sousa
and
Reis.

In
perfect
condition,
it
is
under
the
guard
of
the
Command
Association
(North
Delegation)
which
maintains

historical-military
museum
and

cultural

fort
has
a
plant
in
the

triangular
polygon
with
solid
stone
walls,
bought
by
pentagonal
guaritas

cannons,

service
buildings

troop
barracks,

cistern).
The
defenses
are
completed
by
pits,

monumental
gate

-plan

the
ground

arc

shield

the

of

oratory,
