Excellent restaurant. Excellent food, very nice guy that seemed in charge of the tables when we visited, he explained all the dishes and how the kitchen worked, gave us very good recommendations. The garlic paste appetizer was very nice, and then we ordered the salmon, codfish and the creamed dish. Everything was wonderfully tasty, we ended up sharing among the 5 of us to try all the things. And the cook came out to talk to us and ask us any comments we had about the food, to make sure we enjoyed it! Absolutely recommended, this is great place.

Authentic family-owned restaurant. We had a great first taste of Porto here. The salt-cod Braga style was superb, only surpassed by the warm and kind service. Hope you'll have just as nice a time as we did.

I have been here tonight with my boyfriend and I had an amazing night. We had an appetizer and 2 different types of bacalhau. AMAZING!!! It has been an experience I cannot describe.. it was like knocking at the door of a friend of yours (really good at cooking) that is preparing a wonderful dinner for you. Amazing food, and even more amazing service. The waiter explained the menu to us, and made recommendations for what to eat. To make a long story short: we mixed up the time and realized we sat down for dinner right before we needed to catch the train. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us, were exceedingly kind, and let us take the food for takeout in a rush. The food was incredible, specifically the croquetes de alheira, Bacalhaus com natas, and Alheira com fritas, ovo e salteado de verdes. It was some of the best food we have had in Portugal. Wonderful restaurant, excellent food, and great people! Thank you again to the staff for being so kind to us.

Superb food and service in a typical old school Porto restaurant.

We went for the bacalhau com natas and were not disappointed! Shared the portion for 2 people and had leftovers to spare. Server was very friendly.

Great place. Not very crowded, totally portuguese. We asked for mixed salad and francesinha and it was delicious. A little bit spicy for us, but great anyway. Totally recommended.
