One of the few places open super early on a weekday, this small bakery is a gem. Filled with locals sipping coffee, I enjoyed my small latte here. My chocolate croissant was dense and dry. Tasty but it’s not what you’d think in a croissant. My entire order was three euros.

We came here 4 times in our 2 nights Porto trip. That’s how good this was!!! The bread with butter here is heaven!!!! You can have one for only €0.15!!! The coffee with milk is also delicious! The pizza is so good… reminded me of what I grew up eating in Venezuela. Love this place!

On passing saw this coffee shop, we stopped over for pastries and coffee we had a pleasant time service was speedy and friendly. We spoke in English and the waiter was very accommodating. The pastel de nata was yummy. We had plenty of time to sit chat and drink coffee, there was a toilet available. Would recommend a visit.

The bakery was phenomenal! My fiance and I stopped in for breakfast and got the recommended menu. It comes with coffee, orange juice, the most delicious custard pies, toast, toast and eggs. Hefty breakfast. The place is BUSY in the morning, definitely a local favorite.

We came here nearly every day on our porto trip. They have a wide variation of breads both sweet and savory. There is a seating area as well to sit down and have your selected bread with some coffee, tea, or juice. They speak sufficient English if you're not fluent in Portuguese.

This place is very popular - with good reason. The baking is excellent and it’s a great place for breakfast. We were lucky to find this place on our first morning and used it every day of our visit.

Best bakery in Porto. Hands down. Most bakeries we went to we would see vans delivering their goods. Not this place! Everything was fresh and fantastic. The owner was so kind and sweet. The prices are VERY cheap and it was only a few minute walk from the town square. Make the walk and try just about everything. The almond croissant will melt in your mouth and I loved the fresh orange juice!

Very nice brunch place, delicious sandwich, good coffee, and very nice staff. We will probably have a meal day every day while here as our place is only 2 minutes away.

Great place for bread and other pastries! Amazing prices too. Don't go around and spend excessive money for your breakfast or snacks, this is the place to go. Bread is fresh and the service is friendly and efficient. Stop by and eat here or take it to go.

Cool place for Portuguese breakfast or simply the best pasteis de nata in town! The oversized round browny-like treats are worth more than one sin... great service - very open to deal with sign language!

The restaurant had a wide, parlor like seating area filled with an older, mostly local crowd. The energy of the place is great, everybody is enjoying a hot beverage and a couple Portuguese baked goods. The staff was very friendly to me and even recommended some items to me as an American tourist. Please come here for a quick bite in the morning.

This place has great coffee, awesome sweets and baked goods, and it's all super cheap! Highly recommended to stop for 30min or an hour, regain energy for your day of tourism. I highly recommend the carrot roll, it's unexpected, different from anything you've probably had before. So, so good. It's fast paced, there tends to be lots of people, so it's not quiet, maybe a bit hard to handle if you come with kids. But it's worth it, even if you just grab stuff for take out!

Our walking tour brought us here. With zero expectation going in, we had our best rissols in Porto here. Their rissols are even better than the bakery that is "best in Porto".
