Easy to see why this restaurant was awarded Bib Gourmand status by Michelin. We had a lovely evening from start to finish, the service is impeccable yet friendly and down-to-earth. The server and sommelier were both so knowledgeable and did an excellent job explaining each dish and wine pairing. The food was wonderful, and the portion sizes were perfect. Highly recommend the set menu with wine pairings for a seamless evening. We ended the evening with one last glass of port and a wonderful local tea - my advice is to say yes to any recommendations made to you, as they are guaranteed to be exquisite.

This was one of my favourite meals ever. The food and service were amazing and so reasonable in price! Every dish we had was impeccable. We ordered from the a la carte lunch menu and informed the staff we were sharing. The kitchen was extremely understanding and split each dish into 2 prior to serving! We had the garlic and rump starters, turbot and pork wellington mains and chocolate peanut butter dessert, as well as a glass of white wine each. The standouts had to be the rump (cured beef which was so tender and not overly salty) and pork wellington. Never seen pork wellington anywhere else before and the meat was so tender and sauce was the perfect accompaniment. Must visit in Porto for a nice quiet meal!

Well priced tasting menu and truly top tier wine selection and narration by the sommelier and rest of staff. The food is excellent but doesn't impress in the final moments, where a certain experimentation and freshness is lacking compared to the beginning and middle. The restaurant itself is family friendly which is apparent in the chosen ambience and lighting.

Delicious food and superb service. All dishes were very well-balanced with amazing presentation. The squid and food gras for appetizer worth especially mention. The steak for the main course and shrimp risotto were delicious. The moist cake for dessert was memorable. The wine list is reasonably priced and have a lot of great choices.

We’ve just had a really good meal here. Delicious food. Compliments to the chef! Front of house staff delightful! What more could you want?

Every dish - the almond appetizer, octopus carpaccio, shrimp moqueca, codfish, veal, turbot fish with banana, pastel de nata lava cake with cinnamon and Romeo & Juliet- was prepared with such care, balancing a complexity of exquisite flavors. Our family appreciated the talent and attentiveness of the whole team- the sommelier who recommended the Luis Seabra and Meruge vinho blanco, the former Brazilian soccer coach who has worked around the world, and Jaime who patiently introduced the background of each dish (we loved your service)!

Had an unforgettable evening at In Diferente. The service was out of this world, very knowledgeable sommelier, and the creativity and presentation of every single dish was truly remarkable. On top of all, the prices were beyond reasonable. Get the tasting menu - you won't regret it. Will definitely be back the next time we visit Porto.

A lovely meal with interesting Brasilien influences inspired by the Chefs history. We chose the wine tasting for our meal and found that the wines supported each dish but didn’t highlight it. Needless to say it was delightful and we appreciated the food and wine creations.

Great food and service. We took the 7 course Tasting Menu "Memories" and must say that it was a heavy meal. I think the other tasting menu 'In Diferente' with 2 courses less would have sufficed. It took about 2.5 hours for the full service which was a slightly longer time than I had expected but frankly it was kept interesting by the different foods that kept appearing over the course of the meal. Some courses were better than others but overall I would rate this restaurant quite highly.

Food was something we liked a lot, but the service, including the wine pairing, brought this tonight's event to some new level of experience. We went to the one-star Michelin restaurant a day before, but we liked it much more here. You can feel the staff's passion for the food and wine, and it transfers to the guests. The place is outside of the tourist areas. Really nice establishment, we are going to recommend this place to our friends.

Food was amazing, wine pairing even more so, but what really made me love this place was the atmosphere! I've eaten at quite a few high end restaurants, and this place is truly outstanding in the atmosphere that the staff creates. I was pretty much blown away (and that rarely happens). Thanks a lot for a great meal!

Wonderful restaurant with two different tasting menus or an a la carte. A beautifully calm little restaurant, with a highly creative woman from Brazil as Head chef. We had a tasting menu with new dishes, several of which were inspired by traditional Brazilian or Portuguese dishes (or drinks!) but with a very modern take. All of it worked superbly. On top of that the restaurant had a calming atmosphere with excellent, attentive, good humoured service and a nice wine suggestion from the sommelier. Great experience and reasonably priced for the quality.

One of the most underrated restaurant in Porto. Food is Michelin level, service at least worth a Michelin two star. If you want some surprise, this place won't let you down.

WOW! This dinner will go down in history as one of my best ever dinners ever!!!! Take the tasting menu and get ready to go to heaven! The team was amazing, fantastic Ambiente in the restaurant and from the minute we came till the minute we left (5hours) the experience was wonderful! The sommelier Hugo, recommended fine wines as affordable price points for the table. All from Portugal and the chocapalha red wine was stunning! Mr Marcello provided consistent and dedicated service thought out the night! Jaime was serving us authenticity and immense knowledge about the foods being served during the tasting menu. He also cleverly adjusted some dishes for the seafood and other eaters at the table. The chef Angelica cooked up for our table each course with passion and beautiful flavours, complementing the previous courses and really taking us on a delicious journey. Highly recommend to visit if you are in Porto! We will come back for just this restaurant.

Such a beautiful experience! The dishes were all so creative and delicious. The service was fantastic and the waiters were so knowledgeable and able to make fantastic recommendations. We have tried other bib gourmand/Michelin restaraunts and this was memorable. Highly recommend making the trip out from old town and also combining with a beautiful walk by the beach.

Very good night out. The food was fabulous, and the service great. Although there are some minor points for improvement. It's all in the details, when they get that right, the ⭐ will definitely come.

Compared to certain other fine dining restaurants this had a more relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The tasting menu together with wine pairing was superb. Most interesting for me was the pieces from Brazilian cuisine. I could tell the staff was truly passionate about delivering excellency. An easy recommendation.

I had a brilliant time at In Diferente, and would highly recommend a visit if you're in Porto. I had the Gourmand tasting menu on a Sunday lunch service. The food was incredible, well balanced, rich but not heavy. My favourite was the salted cod fish dish which was a deconstructed version of Bacalhau á Brás, and the dessert was simply magnificent with that Truffle ice cream. The service was outstanding with detailed explanations and ood wine recommendations (without being imposing or pushy). The whole experience was delightful, and I'd go back in a heartbeat when I next visit Porto. Spend: €40 on the menu €17.2 on 3 glasses of wine

This was honestly one of my best dinner experiences so far. The welcome was warm, the music was lovely & the food delicious. The service was perfect; enough time between the dishes, our water got filled at the right times & they were flexible with the menu (I don't eat meat) and gave good suggestions. I mentioned it was my birthday 'cause my nephew just got born, and they gave me a suprise dessert. It was just lovely - really recommend going here.

Outstanding food and service. I ate here several times during my two weeks in Porto. Every single dish was delicious. Great wine pairings. Very reasonable prices - similar quality would easily cost twice as much in London or New York.

Amazing personalize service. Went here with my partner. They split all the dishes in two to make it easier for us to enjoy. There's much I could say about the mains, but I will highlight the desserts. Exquisite. A must have. Would highly recommend.
