I had an absolutely fantastic evening at Cúmplice Steakhouse. I went to Porto for a solo trip and wanted to treat myself during my last night in Portugal and I couldn’t have chosen a better restaurant. The service was amazing - the best service I’ve ever received in any restaurant. :) I will definitely come back here if I’m ever back in Porto because the food was also incredible! The meat was amazing as well as the appetizers and the chocolate forest dessert. The atmosphere is also very calm and relaxing, so perfect for the night out. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.

Great steak house. Place was tastefully decorated. Such a romantic restaurant. Staffs were extremely friendly and professional. They were very helpful selecting the menus. Foods were outstanding. Very tasty and steak was perfectly cooked as well. Enjoyed lovely dinner here. Highly recommend if you are craving some good steak.

One of the best experiences we had in a dinner. We arrived a bit early but they accommodated us very well! The staff was super friendly, explaining every single dish , we never felt abandoned by the staff. The food was amazing from the entrees to the amazing beef, we ordered 3 different types for 5 people to share, and also some veggies and the awesome chorizo rice, it was all perfect! The dessert was very good but we could only eat a few bites since we were already stuffed! Great experience overall!! Would definitely recommend!

Walked into this restaurant without a reservation for dinner, thinking it was a run of the mill steakhouse. As we were led to our table, I immediately realised I was wrong, and this place is a cut above. We tasted most of the starters, which were all excellent 👌followed by a great cut of meat. The welcome cocktail is a great touch. Staff are super friendly and always looking out for their customers. I will be back

What comes to mind when you hear about Porto? Sweet wine? bridges? slabs? That changed my perspective after visiting this restaurant. "Cúmplice" is not a restaurant, it is an experience, from the first moment I arrive I feel the affection and empathy of the staff, this place must be a cultural heritage of the city, I felt in paradise from the first moment I bit into the steak, the vegetables are fresh and full of flavor, and the dessert and the drink are the same. I think that the adjectives related to good cooking are not enough to describe how satisfied I felt at all times. Thanks to María the waitress for being so kind, they are an excellent restaurant but above all an excellent work team that they transmit to each diner. Simply thank you for letting me live this culinary experience that will be in my mind for the rest of my life 🙌🏻.

One of the best gastronomic experiences I have ever had. I definitely recommend if it is within your budget. Everything from the homemade sangria to the wild cheesecake is amazing, and the truffle mashed potatoes are no joke either. The quality of the meat they use is impeccable, making it even more delicious. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would do it.

This was top 10 dining experiences of my life. We went with the server recommendations. Pork and mushrooms as starters and the T-Bone for the main. All was amazing. The topper is how genuine and kind the staff are. Our cocktails and sangria were excellent and I used to be a fine dining bartender. The steak was cooked to perfection. Ellie was our server and she was amazing. Much appreciation for the standard you and your team hold yourself to. Highly recommend making a reso and being here for your trip. This place is truly next level and deserves the (what I thought couldn’t be real) rating that it has.

We didn’t have reservations for the evening and yet we were warmly welcomed and seated by Patricia. She was very attentive not only to us but to our 11 year old as well :) Upon being seated we received a welcome glass of their signature passion fruit sangria. We ordered the buratta salad, 60 day dry aged steak with truffle mashed potatoes and black sausage rice. Steak was perfectly cooked and mashed potatoes heavenly! Desert was state of the art and very delicious!

Best dinner in Porto! Caring and friendly staff, they made our stay wonderful. The location is quiet and romantic, a low volume music completes the lovely atmosphere. Food is delicious, especially the braised tuna and “forest” dessert. The ribeye and grilled vegetables were also very tasty. Highly recommended!!!

The experience was excellent and beyond perfect. We were greeted with delicious welcome drinks, vermouth sangria. The complimentary bread and spreads were also incredibly tasty. I ordered the aged meat. The taste was simply outstanding. Additionally, the truffle smashed potatoes, sprinkled with real truffle, is an absolute must-try. The vegetables served alongside were also delicious. For wine, I chose the Quanta Terra Grande Reserva, which I recommend. The waiter even kindly offered to refill our glasses. They also offered us small chocolate bites that were incredibly yummy. I highly recommend this place!

From the first to the last mouthful, the food on offer is simply a wonderful pleasure experience & joy for the senses and the appetite. Not a single steak that I’ve had has been anything short of spectacular, even when feel you can’t eat more, your brain orders you to move your hands and take another mouthful, and accompanied with honey roast vegetables, for anyone who doesn’t like vegetables, you’ll be eating vegetables at breakfast after this, that’s how good they taste and are perfect with these steaks!! The starter, smoked duck salad is beyond words and even with the portion being generous and looks like it’s enough to feed a family, it’s so light and easy, and scrumptious you won’t want to share it with anyone! To finish, the forest, an assortment of chocolates and cocoa, is so divine and luscious that if they take this off their menu, they would be committing a crime!!! Simply can’t be missed off and you will regret not adding it to end the spectacular start and middle of the dinner dishes. Too good, so good, I would visit the restaurant every time I’m in Porto just for it! Wonderful food, restaurant and very fun paintings, caricature of every famous person in history, past & current that’ll have you pondering a good whole who these characters are. Definitely a must if in Porto, and you can never go wrong with a very sumptuous steak and divine dessert to go with it! 5 stars!

This place is outstanding! Definitely the one we will come again! Service was amazing, food quality was superb and drinks were just awesome! The price is above average but for such a combination it is definitely fair! In many places you have to pay for welcome drinks and food but not here. They welcome you with bread, souce and sangria that are super tasty.

One big bravo for the stuff! They made this experience even better. I'm not sure if we ever met with such a hospitality and friendly but professional approach. So willing to help with everything. Food and drink are amazing. Interior is really nice. If we come back to Porto, we will for sure come back to Cumplice.

Really beautiful and boutique restaurant with very interesting dishes. I would highly recommend that you get a reservation before you go there. They were kind enough to take I'll request for a table and we wanted around the streets and came back an hour and a half later and were able to get a place. The service is outstanding and they have a very interesting twist on many of their dishes that combine traditional Portuguese cuisine with modern techniques. If you get a chance to be seated on the lower level beneath the glass canopy, I would highly recommend it

Perfect place if you are in the mood for a great meal. Amazing atmosphere, great staff, impeccable standards and most of all great food. It's far and away the best meat restaurant in Porto. My only criticism would be the prices for the mains... which considering the reality of this country is very high. Also props for not beeing shortsided and having vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. Overall superb quality and a very special place

Ruoka oli hyvää, varsinkin tartar ja salaatti ankalla. Pääruoka hiukan jätti toivomisen varaa, Tomahawk meni kyllä kokonaan. Tilauskaan ei mennyt ihan kohdilleen, mutta kokonaisuutena onnistunut. Pari lisuketta jäi saamatta, mitkä korvattiin toisella tuotteella.

It’s a very nice restaurant for a night hangout. Staffs are friendly and amazing. The starter was very yummy. It comes with corn form (we thought it was egg) in the middle and works really well with the pork. The steak pretty good and has a strong smoked taste. Would recommend trying the truffle mash potato which has very interesting texture yet delicious. However, the pasta was just okay as we find it a bit salty. We also received a complimentary dessert as our honeymoon surprise and definitely enjoyed it. Super refreshing and not too sweet. Overall, it’s a good restaurant without surprises although we have had better food experience at this price range. Still worth the try!

Cúmplice is one of the top 3 places to go to in Porto. The 2 others are: the coastline and the bridge/river part. We spent 4 nights in Porto and went to Cúmplice 3 of those nights for dinner. 🤣 My husband and I loved everything in the restaurant. The staff working there was so welcoming.( I hope they will read this review so they know that they made our trip better) The food obviously was impeccable 👌 My favorite from the salads was the Tim Burton one, while from the sides it was the veggies. The steaks were obviously very tasty. We ended the last night with a port wine degustation, which wasn't actually sth that they usually do, but were kind enough to say yes 🥂

Completely fantastic. The meat was very good. However, it was eclipsed by the side dishes. The mashed potatoes, the vegetables. Simply fantastic. And then also the dessert called Forrest. Creative, unexpected and super delicious. We were only sad that our stomachs were not bigger and we could not try more food. And by the way: the Service could not have been better!

Best steak house in Porto, hands down! We had the Costeletão to share between 2 people. It’s a big bone in rib steak basically. The quality of the meat was excellent and the portion sizes of the appetizers, mains and sides were massive (North American portions). For the price we paid, it was well worth it.

I had Picanha at many places and I'm quite sure this one is on the top 5. It was high quality meat cooked at the perfect point, medium rare, as I like. The sides are incredibly delicious and the portion size is quite fair. I surely got .500kg Picanha and couldn't finish all the mashed potatoes. Everything was so good I even forgot about the pictures, I only took one from the desert, which besides the good presentation it was an explosion of flavors. Even though it's on the pricey side, this place definitely deserves its good reputation, and I do recommend it...

We were tourists and shopping in the neighborhood. Read some Google reviews and decided to give it a try. The reception staff was really friendly and although we had no reservation, we were given a coveted table by the big glass window. We were even given two glasses of free cocktails before ordering. A very good start. We ordered a Tim Burton (don't know why the name) salad, medium sirloin for two and a lovely Apple dessert. Rather than trying to say how good the food is, we think it beats all the Michelin one star restaurants we have tried. As for service, we think the staff were knowledgeable and sincere. They made you feel you were welcomed by friends. Perhaps we were in a good mood as we were enjoying our holiday in Porto. But this dinner at Cumplice will last in our fond memory for a very long time.

Every single dish we ordered was incredible. Not only the steaks, but all the entrees side dishes and desserts. All incredible. The service was impeccable 👌🏻👌🏻 Extremely highly recommended. (Btw I’m a local, instantly became one of my favourite places in the city)

This was possibly the best steak dinner I’ve ever experienced. The atmosphere in this small restaurant is quiet but very personal, the waiters all took the time to help us pick and made great suggestions. The portion sizes were very generous and the food was amazing. The steak was cooked to perfection and the meat was flawlessly seasoned. It’s a bit pricier but worth every penny!!!

We had an amazing tasting experience at Cumplice, and Rodrigo really made the difference. He treated us extremely well during our dinner, very attentive to our needs and making sure we were enjoying our food. The steaks were absolutely delicious, extremely well cooked and very tender. Very good quality meat indeed.

Very good experience there with an amazing staff who cares about you and makes you feel comfortable. Steak was great, wine too, went for the Forest for the dessert with a Porto wine at the end. Would have preferred to go for a fruity version for the dessert after I experienced the Forest one. However the Forest dessert is also really nice. Very focused on chocolate, salty and caramel flavors with the freshness of the ice cream afterwards. It’s worth it :)

Amazing staff and service with a lovely chilled ambience, the waiters are a credit to the restaurant they even joined us for a drink at the end of the night, shout out to the waitress who previously worked in Galway thanks for the jagers 😃 what a sound bunch! food was amazing, service impeccable, up there with fx buckley! We went for the Tim Button for starters can highly recommend, absolute flavour town 👌🏻 and for streak we had the T-Bone done medium cooked perfectly, outstanding 👌🏻 and the cocktails were on point! 5 stars all round. If I ever return to porto I'll defo pay this place a visit.

What a wonderful end to my birthday! From the start, the service was impeccable and the atmosphere was tasteful. I got a black angus sirloin and they cooked it perfectly. It was impressive to be honest 😄. The welcome drink was great too. Lastly they were sweet enough to bring me a dessert to celebrate 😊. Best day ever! Been to Muu (same owners) a couple of years ago but this restaurant is better in every aspect. The food was delicious, the surprises where extraordinary and the service was out of this world. Don't go to any other place!

Our second night in Porto and our second excellent dinner experience. Cúmplice had great reviews to live up to and it exceeded them. Beginning with a warm greeting from Beatriz (I hope I have these names right!), who sat us at our preferred table, the service was outstanding. Guilherme was our main waiter and greeted us with sangria and warm rolls with three delicious spreads. He spent time explaining various wines and recommended starters and dessert after explaining a number of different options. João worked with Guilherme and made sure our wine glasses weren’t empty, took our picture and generally made sure we were happy. The Pork Floyd was an excellent and generous starter. We each had Filet as our main course which arrived sliced with coarse salt and two sauces. The Smoked Sausage Dark Rice was a flavorful side item. Not that we had room for dessert but we did order the “Forest” (three types of chocolate) which was also good. Overall a tremendous dinner.

Had a great experience here and had to write a review. Although our Tomahawk was slightly overcooked for my taste (since my parents wanted medium) and they wanted to take it back but we didn’t want to wait and it was good enough for my parents. The staff still wanted my feedback to give to the kitchen so they can improve for next time, which I really appreciate. I think they felt bad and sent over another sirloin as well as free dessert even though we were already full just to make sure everyone was happy. I give the place a 5 stars for their dedication to make sure they have happy customers. They really made our trip to Porto memorable. Thank you!

We had an amazing dinner with our kids. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a big smile. Our waiter jodrigo was very nice and helpful. The presentation and quality of food excellent. We didn’t take pictures of the steaks because we forgot about photography 😅 totally recommended restaurant. Congratulations to the owners we could feel the love they put into every detail.

Absolutely amazing food and service. One of the top dinners I've had in Portugal. Highly recommend, for the steak, the sides and desert (go for Forrest 😉). And the wine options are just as good - we had Quinta da Romaneira 2015. Enjoy!
