Locals eat here. Not a tourist stop. We peeked through the street window and only saw 1 couple. Don't be fooled, the AC backroom full of families dining. We had incredible service and outstanding quality food. We ordered the posta(?) For 2 people, was enough for 3-4. It had potatoes, greens and two perfectly cut to our preference beef fillete. The wine selection was very nice. Enjoy! All worth the cost.

Local restaurant, local menu, not a lot of english spoken, medium quality food, fair service, overall nothing special. Not really planning to go there a 2nd time.

We stayed nearby and decided to come to this local restaurant. We had the "house beef", basically a steak and the veal. The meat was extremely soft and tender, doesn't have a strong sear like I'm used to but it was amazing. The potatoes were waxy and perfect. The picture doesn't show how large the portions are. All was topped with chopped raw garlic which was excellent.

Our first meal in Porto <3 A local favorite and always busy. Friendly staff, very patient since we do not speak Portuguese that well ;p Soupe, olives, fish, bread and enough from the house wine only for 26€!!! I recommend it :)

This genuine Portuguese restaurant is popular with the locals, and why not? I experienced great plentiful food, at a very reasonable price point! Wishing Restaurante Caetano all the best!

Authentic Portuguese in what seems to be a popular place with the locals. Excellent help and service by the English speaking staff. Their suggestions were very good. Highly recommend!

First up, the food…. Traditional, Regional specialties. I had the roasted veal — it was falling off the bone!!!! ❤️ I sampled the Bacalhau-Braga style…. also top-notch. 2nd and always important for me, the service. Marco was knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. He made it a complete experience. Don’t miss this spot folks!

A classic spot in Porto. A traditional restaurant, Portuguese cuisine, but I definitely recommend the steak. Beautifully cooked and tender. The decoration is not very modern, but is a traditional restaurant. Shame that when I ordered fruit, a kiwi, for 1.85 they brought me 5 slices of kiwi.

A restaurant where you can find great traditional food, especially the meat! I can sugest the Steak in the frying pan and ugly mousse. Very reasonable price and great value. The staff is always looking out for your needs.

Great food, staff is very friendly. Good value for money. Can be busy but it's big so you'll always find a table.

delicious food, but you have to be aware of that you have to pay for the bread, cheese, olives and everything else that they serve even if you havent ordered that. Theis portions are big, go for a 1/4 plate with sardines if you want it for a starter. 1/2 had 4 fish, enough for a meal.

We went for a family dinner on a saturday evening and was very nice. Friendly or family ambience, regional, good food ... nice and friendly service ... I'll recomend it and ... of we'll repeat the event.
