ASDA Pharmacy

Pharmacy

😠 One star, as I can't do minus 5 stars. Long time waiting, so many unhappy customers. Lady in front of me pull out her prescription as she was told for many days that it will be ready tomorrow, but it wasn't. It felt like being interviewed by police when I wanted to get some codamol. So many out of s... People often mention prescription, time, staff, give, service, phone, pharmacy,

Sought to get some cream for a infected cut pharmacist said couldn't give me anything and said I had to go to Dr. Also asked for some cream with steroid in to deal with break out of eczema and she refused to give me it saying was against the law. Didn't take time to look at either issue and was stood over 2m away speaking quietly in a noise venue. Failed to make any assessment or real engagement - no wonder this place has just a bad rating Photo: the pharmastists details who I had issues with

Some very rude staff. and slow service. Do more chatting then working. Don't think they know how to answer a phone. Some of the staff need to be re trained In customer service. And manor's.

It’s quicker to go to university, study pharmacology, buy a pill press machine and do it yourself than get served a prescription at this pharmacy.

Why does the pharmacy keep ending my calls. 111 has direct me.

Pharmacists are incredibly helpful- haven’t met a single rude ignorant pharmacist and I’ve been coming here 2 years. Never had to wait more than 10 mins. Even when I’ve had prescriptions sent to the wrong place, they’ve chased it up and told me where it’s ended up. They simply need to move into a much larger and organised space with enough staff.

I waited over an hour and a half just for my medication and every time I asked if it’s ready they said “2 minutes” I wish I could give it 0 stars. Can’t believe they have the guts for keeping people waiting for such a long time.Such a disappointment I will never be going back there again

Absolutely awful. Ordered an paid for a prescription online with the Asda online doctor. (Private prescription) It was approved my end with an email confirmation. The staff weren’t helpful. Telling they haven’t received anything. Even though on my end it was ready to pick up after 4 hours. Showed staff the confirmation but still they said they had nothing. Had to phone the Asda to online doctor for the women who was amazing, she confirmed it was sent, but she said she will send it again, an to stay on the phone with me to make sure they have received it, as her end again it says it was sent. The women looked again, an said she couldn’t find it. Yet the women on the phone was confirming it was sent an asked for me to pass the phone to the pharmacist. So she could also back me up the fault is their end not hers. For them to “magically” find it an refuse to talk to the lady on the phone. Wouldn’t recommend this pharmacy to do this service as I was waiting for over an hour.

I give them 1 star because I can’t give them less. I had to wait more than 3 hours, he said the prescription it was fake so I had to go to the doctor again, when I came back with the prescription he denied to gave me the medication. He was rude all the time. The worst experience I had in my life.

Extremely unpleasant staff. Had ran out of medication that I require(my regular pharmacy had not filled my repeat prescription on time) and which has terrible withdrawals if I don't take them on time. NHS 24 consulted and agreed to send emergency prescription for that evening and the next night to here and that I could pick it up here within the hour. They emailed and sent prescription through to Asda Pharmacy. When my husband arrived to collect for me, a very unpleasant female pharmacist told him yes she had received my prescription and yes she had the medication in stock but she was not going to give out the prescription as I was not a regular user of Asda Pharmacy. Why then does she advertise her store as an emergency pharmacy ? Why did she agree to take my emergency prescription from NHS 24? Thanks to her I had terrible withdrawals and a migraine headache .Horrible people with zero empathy or customer service skills.

I'm a uni student needing some sleeping pills, they asked for ID for proof of age, and didn't accept the photo of passport that i upload to the UK GOVERNMENT website for work permit. Unbelievable... Had to get it from somewhere else with a more friendly service
