Lovely park and the Avery is normally full of life. It’s not got the normal animals there but is still a quiet place to visit.

Nice little grass area for ball games etc. Lovely play area for the young ones, climbing frames, slides and swings. My Grandsons love it here. Refreshment kiosk serves ice cream and coffee. Open throughout the year. Well worth a visit.

A lovely park, some green space to play games and run around, as well as a play park and basketball court for other energy dispersal. In addition to these, you have a small selection of animals, from Guinea pigs and rabbits to goats and some very cherpy birds, there should be something for everyone.

Good place for families there are a few facilities play park a small sports green and a court for netball etc. There are also small animals and budgie and Parrots in a compound. Pleasent gardens to sit and a small refreshment stall was open. The downside was the only toilet wasn't working

Good park, but need some money spent on it. New playground equipment please, as well as improved drainage.

A fairly typical PCC play park. Sometimes has a non family friendly vibe and some of the older children use bad language. Graffiti on the equipment and often waste / rubbish not in bins. Animals are ok to look at and the planting is ok.

Wonderfully well kept park near one of the main roads in Portsmouth.Well manicured lawns and flower beds.Colourful modern children's play area with picnic benches.Basketball court.Animal enclosure with goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks&exotic birds, large green open space also next to children's play area.Benches throughout the park.No public toilets however The Golden Hind Pub and The Star And Garter Pub a few hundred metres away on Copnor Road on either side of the park are part of the Portsmouth Community Toilet Scheme;thus these are your nearest toilets.
