I have been going to this surgery for 36 years from birth and have watched it decline in to a dreadful state to the point that I am now desperately trying to move to another clinic. One of the partners Dr Crisp misdiagnosed my father's prostate cancer for some months resulting in his treatment options being severely limited when finally diagnosed by one of the more capable members of the team who sadly is no longer there. Trying to get appointments at the surgery is virtually impossible and in the latest revision to their appointment booking system you have to call within a 20 minute window at 8am in the morning to have any change of getting a call back (not an appointment) where the triage team will decide if you are worthy of being seen. Beyond that you are only able to book appointments months in advance on their website. On the most recent occasion I had to contact the doctors on the advice of 111 where I was told I should see someone within 6 hours, upon calling I was told by the receptionist that my condition was not considered serious enough and that they would put me on the triage list the following day for a phone call. All day I waited to receive a call from a doctor only to be called by the receptionist at 6:30pm only to be told they had been too busy again and that I would either need to call 111 (who referred me in the first place) or call again next week to try to get on the list for Monday. What an absolute disgrace this surgery has become.

The doctors working at this surgery are fantastic so it is a shame that it is so poorly managed. I often wait 40 minutes to speak to someone only to be told that they have reached capacity for the day and don't even try to book an appointment in advance as it is almost impossible and a complete waste of time. If you're lucky enough to get an appointment they usually run an hour late, if not longer. The partners of this practice should sack every receptionist, all administration staff and certainly the manager as they are completely incompetent. I am sick of being made to feel like an inconvenience for trying to access our NHS! Having spoken to friends and family I know that these problems are specific to the baffins surgery which makes it all the more unacceptable!

Been a patient at this surgery for just over 20 years now, the doctors (especially Dr Crisp) are excellent and I have never had a problem with the reception staff. It can take a while to get through on the phone first thing in the morning, but I find using their online service to book a phone appointment a lot more convenient if I don't actually have to see a doctor in person (although I do miss the personal touch of an in person appointment). The surgery is modern and clean and I find the staff friendly.

Always fit us in for an appointment, granted it may only be a telephone appointment, but these are the times we live in, however most times, especially with the kids, it's face to face. Miles better than my previous surgery ( PD group)

I changed from a doctors surgery just over a year ago to this one as my husband is also a patient here! Since becoming a patient here I have had nothing but great treatment from all at this surgery. Everyone is fantastic and willing to listen to me and accept that I know my condition (it is a rare disease! ) as I live with it since 2013 and am continuously researching it! They are all so very thoughtful kind and totally willing to help in any way they can! I actually have never felt more in control of my Disease and able to live with it much easier than the previous 6years from Diagnoses in 2013 before moving to this surgery! I rate this surgery highly and am now feeling much more of a human being than a problem! Thankuou all! I for One am a very happy patient!

Unfortunately I have had a hard time getting the help needed in regards to the health issues I'm going through at the moment. One doctor was incredibly rude to me over the phone and as he'd been the doctor that ordered blood tests I was surprised to find I had to chase up what the results meant. The results were very important as they showed how I'll I was. On another occasion I was told I had vertigo several times but it was a veritable artery dissection and was in hospital. The nurses and other staff are amazing and so is Dr Mendoza who always explains things to me and for them I give 5 stars.

Dr stocker chucked me out of his office and told me he had real patients to see. Told me my bowel problems were nothing and told me i was lying about my problems. 6 months later after changing doctor, just had 4 pre cancerous growths removed from my intestines over the course of 2 surgical procedures.

True the waiting time past the appointment time is long n so is everywhere but when u get to see the doctors, they are very very helpful. In my opinion the health professionals have too much workload. At one point Dr phoned me at 1830 n missed me. Phoned again at 2000hrs but their finishing time is 1830. I feel sorry for them as well as in hospitals. 1nurse:26patients. What kind of service does one receive in such a situation?

Fantastic recent service. Saw someone called Chris Hill and I cannot speak highly enough of him. Seen quickly and treated with empathy. Felt like I wasn’t just “another patient”

Regularly does not send my prescription to my pharamcy, or missing out vital medication on precriotions so i only get 3 of 4 parts , leading me to have Ezeama flair ups that then in turn gives anxiety and depression making me unable to work missing out on money, unable to go out, see people or see my girlfriend and to live my life normally. Im unable to maintain a regular routine in my own health care because of my prescription getting messee up. Back in the day when it was just the milton park practice they were great. I hate complaining but i have to now, sorry.

I very rarely leave reviews, but this surgery is so bad that I feel the need to. Have been with them all my life and it’s only gone downhill in the last few years. I turned up recently to a 2.10pm appointment, checked in as normal with the receptionist who told me to take a seat upstairs. Apon arriving to a VERY full waiting room and waiting half hour past my appointment one of the other patients said “you do realise the doctor is running TWO HOURS behind?” I had to do the school run at 3.10pm so I went back to the receptionist who had no idea they were running 2 hours behind (which surely should be part of her job?) I had to leave and was not happy as it’s petrol and my time wasted (what about people taking time off work for these appts?) if I turned up 2 hours late they wouldn’t see me, so why should it be acceptable the other way around. To add insult to injury, (excuse the pun) they put on my patient portal online that “patient walked out” well that’s not entirely true I was there 10 minutes before my appointment time, and even waited half hour PAST my appointment time only to find there was a 2 hour wait! So had to leave.. waste of time..

Hands-down the most incompetent and disconnected surgery I have ever been to. The way that reception staff conduct themselves is both rude and unprofessional, with staff making you feel as though you're an inconvenience to their DOCTORS SURGERY. Both the emotional and physical pain and stress caused by this place is staggering. I could not recommend highly enough to stay well clear of The Baffins Surgery. Unless you enjoy being lead on a wild goose chase or being told that it's (your) the patients fault that the surgery or employees haven't got their finger out their arse to do their job and sort the prescription. Madness.

Poor. Lack of duty of care to my elderly father. Told him to call 111 when 111 told him it was them he had to deal with and they had to check him over. Receptionist thinks she is a qualified dr too. Poor poor poor. Should be closed down as it’s a waste of NHS funding

From my experience getting to see a Doctor is very difficult. Reception seems to have instructions not to make face to face appointment. So you get a Doctor call back or referred to St Mary's Hospitals Walk in Clinic, waiting time up to 2 hours. Preventive medicine not requiring a doctor in my opinion is good and so are the nurses doing it.
