Chariali tejpur 4 point crossing located at Assam , it will take about 7-8 hours by bus from Guwahati railway station .hotels are easily available,food and hotels are also nearby . mind it covid -19 test is mandatory other wise you are not allowed to exit from station , so be careful while traveling during covid days ,be clean use sanitizer frequently,don't touch anything unknowingly.have a safe travel . Nice place. It's one nodal area with transport connections zones between Capital city of Assam, Guwahati to Nagaon-Jorhat-Sibsagar via Tezpur and Tezpur to Bhalukpung-Bomdila of Arunachal Pradesh via Balipara. It is one developing urban zone too.

This place connects Darrang, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaon with Tezpur town..... Tezpur is one of the most pre historic town of Assam... In this place Lord Shiva fought against Lord Srikrishna. In this fight lots of blood (means tez in Assamese language) drained.. that's why this place is known as tezpur. Currently this place is a good army base of Great India.

The traffic point has become most crowded due to construction of flyovers. This place once used to be a usual stop for passing by to have refreshment and daily shopping. Also the joints like KF and nearby stores are the worst sufferers and on the verge of closing.

Actually it's a busy point....but traffic police are best to handle all the traffic...there will no lack of vehicle here... wherever u wanna go u will have a good journey...but in the evening hours it's difficult to find a vehicle before 6:00 pm

Due to ongoing construction 🏗️ of flyover and berricade it's have very narrow road resulting huge traffic 🚦 any time. Hope for speedy Construction 🚧 process.

A busy place always and an important junction in middle Assam. It connects upper Assam, to the lower Assam and West Assam. If you are new to here and wonder how to know where you have to go then don't worry. As soon as you came out of bus all conductors came shuting place they are going. 😂😂

I am a resident of this place and this is my home. I have known for many years. About this go and it is very peaceful safe place here. And this place is located in India Assam Sonitpur district in local area. (Lokra) Sonai Miri Gaon.

It is a junction of the National Highway going towards upper Assam (N Lakhimpur, Itatanagar, etc) and the National Highway leading towards Guwahati via Orang, Mangaldai, etc over the Saraighat Bridge).

Center point from where you can get bus taxi etc for different location Morning at 6.50 AC bus for Guwahati is available opposite of hotel susuma Bus for jorhat is available Bus for Guwahati, mangaldoi etc Fooding, Logging and good hotel are available

It's a lot more crowded especially at around 10 am to 1 pm. Since lot's of people travel for multiple purposes. Important infrastructure or building opens up around 10 am so majority of people leaves home around this time. Hence all the four ways are crowded with vehicles

Not too busy but do follow traffic rules . Local police department is really strict but are honest 😊

We visited there for an educational trip. It was a nice trip. And we enjoyed a alot there. Our students loved the place and they learnt many thing.

The place is full of traffic congestion. In order to pass the traffic one has to wait for circa 30 minutes. However the flyover is under construction and it may take the next 18-24 months to construct.

Great place for those who are seeking a bus to travel to mangaldai, nagao, dhekiajuli, routa, Guwahati etc. You can find hotels to stay in and restaurants to have something along with that fruit vendor and public toilet.
