    Worst hotel. We booked delux room but after seeing room condition we preferred to be downgrade to executive room with any compansation. Room service is pathetic. If you need anything you should order something, nothing is free even a water glass. I've visited many hotel but now I know how a -5 star room will looks like. DON'T BOOK.

    when i was booked a room for 2 adults through online at 1900. They gave me a cheaper room with no windows. The room was not properly cleaned. when i am asked for atleast a room with windows they told all rooms are sold out. But when i am walked through the corridor most of the rooms are empty(free). and all rooms are very good exept the room they gave to me. Bad experience..... not at all happy.

    The hotel is partially under renovation, standard rooms are not in very good condition, the deluxe rooms are good.. but as they are renovating the finished rooms have overwhelming enamel paint smell and dust… the restaurant is good and the morning breakfast is decent.. it sometimes gets difficult to reach the hotel entrance late night due to ongoing metro works in front of it..

    Rooms are dirty - The floor was completely wet when we entered the room. Bed spread , pillow , bed sheet are super dirty -multiple Visible stain marks on the bed - When we asked for another room they not even cared for customer opinion , instead they sent people to change bedsheets , but that was also dirty. Not even worth of our single rupee to spend here- Bad Customer service - Totally very bad experience , not sure how in gods earth this even categorized as Hotel

    Stayed for a day. Room 310 Pros 1. Location is accessible to places 2. Good accessible to transports Cons 1. Rooms are x not clean 2. Bed spread notwashable has stains 3. My room (310) door locked every time I need to call room service 4. Found cockroach in restroom 5. Furniture are torn out

    Really poor service. 1)We were given a room on a floor which was under renovation and had to cross the alley to our room through dust and dirt. 2) Outside of the hotel is even worst with dust and noise from the metro work outside. 3)We booked a master bedroom A/C room but they gave us a two single bed room with a table separating the two beds and were asked to remove the table and put both the beds together by ourselves if we wanted a double bed. They said that it was their choice to give rooms with single or double bed even after we booked a double bed. 4)They also have a policy of check in only by 2pm , instead of the normal 12 pm check in. And will ask us to go upstairs to have lunch. This is done purposefully to make us eat from there in house restaurant. Which I thing is bad. Check out time can be made at 11 am the next day , if they want to clean the room . But Making guests wait with all their luggage even after 12pm is bad. 5)The person at the reception is not at all friendly and behaves as if he is giving the rooms for free. Really bad service. Worst experience ever.

    Worst hotel and customer service I have ever seen. We booked 3 rooms on Booking, and asked to the rooms before giving our passports or any details. The rooms were dirty, stains on the sheets, toilets not functioning, dust everywhere, the swimming pool and the buffet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for years, and we even saw a cockroach at the reception. The staff were laughing at us because the cancellation fees were equal to the total price and even said « you don’t have any options ahaha ». We decided to call booking and they accepted to cancel the room for free. They even decided to shut down their phone line so that no one could join them! To avoid!!!!!!!!!!

    Absolutely poor service! I had booked a room to stay with family and had reached two hours early. Right at the first instance, the receptionist didn't even bother to hear us but said you will have to wait. We had travelled all the way from Bangalore to Chennai with a kid and the hotel staff did not even have the courtesy of checking with us if we would like to do an early check-in or offer some water at least. We felt as if we were there to beg! The manager was even more worst who neither wanted to hear anything from the customer. There is no communication between their departments. We had complimentary breakfast along with the room for which when we reached the restaurant, they said we don't have complimentary breakfast as they don't have our names in the list, however our booking confirmation form clearly states. We had to go to reception ourselves to get the communication flow to the restaurant and after a big argument, the manager requested us to have breakfast. This was ridiculous. The room was another disaster, stinking so badly and the floor was never maintained after the construction. This was the worst hotel I'd ever stayed

    1) Worst room - Flooring is always wet due to AC running, no ventilation. 2) Rude and worst service - After picking the plate, they saying i am not paid for complimentary breakfast.. i dont understand the meaning of complimentary here.. plus, i called help deck before getting into breakfast room, they didnt mention that, plus, when i paid for room they didnt mention about this. Receptionist work is just billing and payment, there is no greet, treat, . Paying extra 100 rs doesnt harm me, if they asked for option... 3) Overall worst place to stay. This is not the grand residency we used 5 yrs back.

    Hotel was really good for the cost I stayed. I got the online offer of just 1200 per night with family to stay in 3+ star hotel. It had nice restaurants, bar & lounge, swimming pool, conference rooms, lobby. I would cut their points for not having good parking facility in such a good hotel. They can accommodate a max of 10 cars at a time that too if you can reach hotel by your car. It is located at very busy road which always has huge traffic jam. Service was decently good.

    Decent place to stay with family, don't expect to be a 3 star hotel as described, definitely need some renovations in washrooms, air conditioner and room lights. Complementary breakfast is also great, If you just want to stay in a budget and decent place you can stay but not recommended for one who is willing to pay for luxury, Car Parking Area Available. Wifi Speed in 3rd Floor 8Mbps.

    Wish the lift was faster ....untill recently they seemed to have changed not been there after the change....wish dedicated kitchen was available for roof top...and more staff time to cater customers who or non regular as well.

    Worst experience until now.Reception people are very rude.Booked for a double bed and early check in.But provided a dusty and pathetic room with twin beds,that too after taking an extra rs1000 for 2 hr early checkin(even after informing earlier).Not to mention that they made us wait 1hr before providing the room.We had to make someone come and mop the floor as it was impossible to walk around with so much dust.Extra bed costed rs 4000 for 4 days! And that bed was soo dirty,with torn bedsheet and just a blanket cover(without blanket).When asked about the pillow with the extrabed,their reply was to take a pillow already available on the top bed.And on top of everythng, there were cockroaches which we had to chase at night.Please dont book a room in this hotel.

    DO NOT BOOK HERE, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ITS NOTHING LIKE IN PICTURE. THE PLACE IS FULL OF DUST AND DIRTY. I BOOKED THROUGH AGODA AND SO DISAPPOINTED WHEN I SAW THIS PLACE. WE CANT EVEN STEP INSIDE ITS SO DIRTY SND DUSTY WE CANT BREATHE. I REQUESTED FOR REFUND THEY REFUSED. I WASTED MY 2 DAY RENT PLUS UBER. ITS A SHAME.     The people and reception are very helpful. I had to wash my car while leaving in the morning, they took the responsibility and took care of it immediately. Much recommended. The rooms have less ventilation if you are going for AC , but the hospitality and the food is very good and reasonable.

    Management tried to offer rooms/floor which are poor in maintenance, unless if you are not smart you will end up in getting poor room/floors. My personal experience. Guys who try to book through Agoda apps , the apps offer us to choose the timing as per our own convenience, however this grand residence hotel offers checkin time 14:00hrs and checkout time 12:00hrs. I ended up in paying add on premium amount for early check in, not sure if agoda knew this system or not .

    Poor Hotel!. When i was inside my room a random house keeping guy just opened the door and came inside (i did not put double lock) don't know the exact reason why this guy came but after seeing me he just ran away!. Then when i checked out they made to wait to check whether the things in the room are there or not . Which i don't think a three stay hotel sill generally do! I will never go again.

    I stayed here for days… They provide Very good Breakfast. And it is near to Ponnur Junction. The room service and their hospitality is good. The rooms and washroom are well maintained but the washrooms are bit congested.

    The hotel room needs some maintenance, however the staffs were very friendly and did the best they could for us to have a comfortable stay. The location was not great due to the metro work. Overall the credits to the hotel is on employing good staffs.

    Worst rooms, needs renovation. AC was not working in many rooms. Guess very old rooms, with cigarette smell and another bad smell.They just sprayed the room freshener but eventually the smell returns. The additional bed cost 1k per day but that bed had stones inside it and the bed is in a 3-piece joint together. Security and valet parking was good and supportive. Without them parking would have been worst.

    This hotel is fabulous. It is basically a brand new hotel, but with the kinks worked out. Top level room amenities including automatic window coverings and lights (when door opens), fantastic bathroom with an all in one top of the line Grohe toilet/bidet., fluffy towels and robes, large free standing tub.

    Reception response was good. I went grand residence for a birthday party. Quite comfort mini hall. Located at 6th floor with mini lift facility. Lighting was not that much but ok Food good, cutlery, serving foods was moderate. Car parking available Club bar available

    The rooms are suffocating..no proper ventillation..the room is full of foul smell. Toilets have no ventillation or exhaust fan. The beds are not comfortable. After lots of exercise and request was shifted to another better room...the sad part is that they knew the room is not fit then also they alloted it...thanks to manager gud guy...

    Rooms are average as per night charge 2500+gst. One kettle and small refrigerator is provided. Brush, toothpaste, soap and shampoo is there in the bathroom. Breakfast is free and good. Wifi is the worst. The gym is on the 6th floor and it is almost useless and has very less area. The swimming pool is on the 5th floor and it is not being used. The reception staff is nice. Room cleaning is done around 1 pm. The mattress didn't suit me🥲. The TV was not working properly. The Restaurant is on the first floor and is costly for lunch and dinner (6-700) for two people. A roof view image is added.

    It's an awesome place. Yesterday we celebrated our anniversary over there. grand is a wonderful restaurant spread as well as taste was also superb specialty the desert section. Ambiance was also very nice. Staffs are very humble and polite.

    5* for Cleanliness, Room size, Staff in Front desk, Maintenance, Restaurant are polite and friendly. Location, Access to getting cabs is easy, Close to reach bypass roads. India England ODI cricket match live was available in room. Room price Value for money. Tasty french fries and nice ginger tea in the restaurant. 4* for No swimming pool. Restaurant ambience. Elevator is available. 3* for Toilet Hygiene. Uncleaned wardrobe. Corridors ambience. 2* for Bath shower leaking and not functioning. Dusty below the cot. In gate was kept locked.

    The hotel location is not bad, from highway its around 1 Km, will share the good things first, The hotel staffs are super nice very helfull. They gave me free upgrade of my booked room. The room was pretty neat comfortable bed and bathroom is also good. Got a window view, there will be always pegions and it's kind of cute. They have complimentary water. The breakfast is good you can really enjoy it. Now the bad stuff - - - The elevator is a great madness, they were fixing it but it gave lots of hard-time. The key card, it has to be refreshed at each day end, i stayed for 6 days, so each day evening I have to. Go to lobby and do it, it was very problematic. For one night i ordered food from outside, if we ask for a plate from room service, they wont give it, until you ordered from the hotel, and they charge you very over-priced food. The laundry service is okey fair price. The hot water was very bad, you can't differentiate it is cold water or hot water. Overall i can say that - its an average stay. BUT worth for the money. If you take out all the negativity.

    Resturant food is tasty and priced right Rooms are a bit old and smells dust need a refresh/deep cleaning Location is in heart of Porur and close to the high way but challenge is access due to the metro work going on in the area(Aug 2023) This dhould improve once the work is over Though the property mentions parking (its not adequate) Had space inside when checked in but when I came back in the evening the parking was full had to park on the road for the night

    The hotel will not mention anything about guest policies on the website but once you reach the hotel, they will give you any excuses possible to not honour the booking. And when you say it's not mentioned on the website, they will yell at you for not calling them up and asking questions you wouldn't even think about. Thenest part? They will deny a refund in one word and the receptionist will shout saying they have 20 years of experience. I don't know what the 3 stars are for, but considering I have travelled a lot for my profession, this is worse than a shady single star hotel. I wouldn't recommend this type of experience to anyone out there, let alone my family or friends.

    Neat and clean hotel at affordable rates now. Food served here is really delicious. Housekeeping services are too good. Reception personnel are very cordial and receptive. Good ambience. Overall a good choice for staying in Porur, Chennai.

    Hotel tries their best to keep up to date. Courteaus staff. Cheers for their hard work. Ac is old style, blows in our face when sleeping on bed. Metro work is noisy. Make sure cancellation is an option before booking here.

    Stayed here for a day. Good points clean, hygienic and a cooperative staff. But as compared to other 3 ⭐ hotels many things could not be matched. Room size was small with small bed early check-ins are chargeable despite a request made while making online bookings. Aroma not good and mosquitoes were also there.

    Bathroom needs work, also should have some set of rooms where smoking isn't permitted because the room was stinking with the smell. The breakfast was fine and the staff very friendly, but the bathrooms l ruined the whole stay for me.

    I am giving this one star because I don’t have option to give 0 star. Cleanliness - 0 star AC - 1 star Hospitality - 0 star Totally had a very bad experience in this hotel. We had booked 4 rooms for 8 people thru makemytrip.com. Hotel staff provided only two rooms and told other rooms are full and asked us to cancel the rooms in makemytrip. After one hour receptionist called us and told we have one extra room if we pay 3000 they will allow us to use that room. Room card key was not working and they don’t provide master key as well. We need to go receptionist every single time to open the door if we locked it.

    All over Not Good .. we booked for 4 day's , ( but finally we checked out After 3 day's ~ because of ●Room is not clean ● Room service is not good ( if you want something then you should call many time ) Towel , pillows & bedsheets it's too dirty ( we purchased new towel ) food is too expensive.. & test is not good ..

    Loved my stay here. Very clean, well maintained property. Would definitely recommend for stay and in house restaurant for meals is very good. Buffet breakfast has really good spread.

    I stayed here for a night as no other places were available for the location I was looking for. The hotel is just 10 yrs old and gives you a vibe of 20+ yrs old. It's right on main road which gives you non stop traffic noise and the room or window are not sound proof. The roofs are okay but looks too old and lazy vibes n vibrant colors it will easily put any person mood down. The restaurant which serves breakfast is super minimal, with not so good food, the dosa tasted like 2 days old batter, Pongal was pathetic except for safe poori bhaji and boiled eggs. The only good things about the hotel was the cozy bed where I slept like a baby though there was too much noise from mian road and secondly the staff allowed me checkout late on my request.. If you are looking for budget travel this does justice, but if you look for budget with vibes this is not the place.

    We stayed here from 10th of June till 14th of June. We had 13 rooms booked for our family members. On the day of their arrival the AC stopped working in all of the rooms. We called the engineer on call who said all will be fine in 5 minutes but that didnt happen. The manager went home and there were no fans in any room. Its already peak of Summer, then no fans and the AC not working. We asked them to transfer us to other rooms , they said they don't have any rooms available. Then after lots of discussion, the manager came back late at night and we were given different room at mid-night. We had a function to attend early in the morning and we could hardly get any sleep. Apart from that experience, the hotel was nice. Its on the main road. The hotel has its own restaurant, swimming pool, bar as well as a spa (couples are not allowed in the bar) The hotel is well maintained and the house keeping is prompt. The rooms were nice. The executive rooms have more walking space than standard rooms. The rooms has electric kettle, geyser, ac, mini fridge, closet and study table.

    Location is good, but other than that nothing is ok. They don't have parking space. If more than 5 cars come, they don't have space and they don't have even idea what to do. All rooms are fitted with AC but no feeling of AC. They take lot of time to serve even basic food. Overall, it's not worth of money.. on top of this when I complain, i got Gyan by some drunk person (not sure if he was a staff), adjust with what you got, with this amount you can get this only...

    It was ok. Food was also good though options not there. It's same menu but as per the price, it's worth. So i am ok with it. Rooms - hm. Ok that's it. But when i came, there was nothing in the room. I asked them to keep water, kettle, tea bags, sugar, bathroom tissues. I felt like that was an extra room so they gave me to it last minute. Not complaining coz the price was ok for the room... I didn't like the location. Coz car park space was not there .. may b coz of metro construction going on...

    I visited Bar and restaurant Setup was good food and snacks was up to mark Don't order mutton snacks as it was fried was not juicy Chicken 65 , fish fry are tasty and good quantity

    Very small banquet. Very slow lift. Location is ideal for people looking around Porur. Very limited car parking. Food is Okish. The only Live Dosa Counter where they don't have Ghee. Looks old from outside. Upkeep of the property might fetch better business to them because of the location.

    Stayed here for one night , the rooms facing the main road side will have a constant traffic nois from the highway. Hence choose the one on opposite side if you that's a problem for you. Good service . Renovation work is going on at present. Decent value stay.

    Rooms are basic. However food is great. Location is an advantage. Don't be fooled with the pics they share on the websites. Cheap rooms are really cheap... Not worth staying unless u upgrade to better category. Breakfast needs to get better. As simple as eggs to order isn't available...

    Very worst experience....stayed there for 21 days ..everything will be there but will not work ...you have to request and remind Hotel Management minimum 14 days to sort out the issue..Also be aware of cockroaches and fungus formed Mini Refrigerator.. Bathroom will have water leaking issue wifi will not work properly and they will say that's their hotel wifi policy Max. try to avoid this hotel unless your destination is nearer ...

    The hotel is going through some construction work and some of the rooms will needs to be modernised and I hope they will modernise all the rooms. The centralised AC system also needs to be modernised. The service was excellent and each and every staff made sure that the guests are well looked after.

    Extended a stay due to medical reason. Staff were very accomodating. But the hotel itself is a bit old and dilapidated and needs a proper rennovation. I suffer from asthma so the fungus in the ceiling triggers my asthma. But you get used to it sort of. Location is bad right now as metro is being built infront of the hotel. The construction makes the roads dusty and difficult to walk due to traffic.
