Clean and nice pool area. Towels available. Pool bar opens at noon. Front desk staff some are gentle and helpful and other people are not. The schedule for the spa is not well organized, we were re scheduled without valid explanation

Hotel is a bit rundown from the outside but the rooms are nice and clean. Staff is helpful although it took 2 hours and 2 calls to get warm water to our room. The one thing I really do not like is how breakfast is organized. I understand that due to covid there can not be a buffet but I do not see any reason to pack up every slice of cheese in its own plastic, especially if the same person is serving all the tables. The picture attached is all the plastic from breakfast. Their sign saying "Maite Hotel trabajamos para reducir nuestro impacto en el medio ambiente" could not be more off.

We spent 3 nights here. Good things first, the hotel area is really nice and designed like a safari hotel. The reception staff is friendly and reacts to complains in a good and fast way! The food is tasty, however, it sometimes took them more than 1 hour to prepare any kind of food - even with the restaurant being nearly empty. Also some of the restaurant staff constantly gave us the small menue because they could not/would not explain us the menue in english, sometimes not only give us a menue and telling us we only could get a sandwich while everyone else did got served with steaks and pasta around us. This is not appropriate behaviour. The rooms were not worthy of being a 4 star, the two rooms we had, had blood stains on the walls, white stains on the windows, the towels were greyish and torn and the bed cover was torn aswell. Wifi was not working in both rooms.

Nice staff. Clean hotel. Very run down in places - like they are not maintaining things. Food was not great. Loved the city of Posadas.

Well, well: This is not an international standard - from the parking to the kitchen. The breakfast was just poor, the coffee was terrible as often in this blessed region, the butter was strong (we had really good breakfast in Argentina and it's not much work nor much expenditure to realize a good breakfast: and you can win so much, manager). You can stay overnight at Matei but if you are used to international standards and expecting them, it will hardly be a pleasure (at least you will maybe like the terrible muzak playing).

The whole experience was pleasant; from the warm attendance to the nice and cool rooms. The restaurant is equally good, with a well balanced breakfast and delicious dishes.

The Hotel is awesome, we spend a week at the presidential suite, needs a lot of improvement, staff is great, very sweet people.

Perfect service and staff availability. The rooms are very clean.
