Large and comfortable room, impeccable cleanliness, both in the room and in the common areas, good leisure options, pool, sauna and gym, good location in area central of city. Near of restaurants, cafes and market.

Hotel Urbano is a neat hotel with a lot of services, friendly staff, and a great location, but really lacks polish and a good clean. The hotel seems to be busy with people on business but I would also recommend it for its location. We stayed here 22nd June 2022 for 2 nights. We paid using Qantas Frequent Flyer Points (Australian) and paid 26,997 points, equivalent to $231.50AUD or $19,777ARS total. The Room ★★★☆☆ The rooms are large and well laid out, a big bed, small bar fridge, and a table and chairs. It’s quite standard in furnishing but the extra large space in the room makes it feel special. They only provided 1 small, flat pillow and had no additional pillows available making for an uncomfortable sleep. The bathroom is nice, a shower-bath, and large counter and mirror. The room really falls down on two areas. Posadas is a busy city, and Hotel Urbano is right in the thick of it. With no double glazing or additional sound proofing, you hear every single engine, motorbike, car horn, and enthusiastic pedestrian as if they were right in the room with you. It really is a very noisy room, and while I’m a light-sleeper and try not to judge solely on noise, this was something else. The second area is cleanliness. The carpets are smattered with questionable stains, is pulled up in areas to create waves in the carpet, and the sheets had off-white stains on them, too. These two issues combined meant that the initial high impressions of the hotel and room quickly faded. The Hotel ★★★☆☆ The hotel is very well located in the Centro or central district of Posadas, in very easy walking distance to shopping, restaurants, tourist attractions and not too far from the water front (and at worst s very short, cheap taxi ride away). The staff were fantastic, very helpful and insightful and happy to help out. The check in / out was very easy. The hotel has a decent range of offering at their restaurant for dinner, drinks, and room service, and this is reasonably priced. The breakfast buffet was a bit of a disappointment. It had quite limited choices, and despite being a buffet, every piece of food was put on your plate by a staff member. I assume this is a COVID measure, but a little awkward having to ask for each additional piece of food or drinks. The hotel does have a decent range of services such as pool, sauna, and spa but our time there was too short to make use or rate these. We did inquire about the laundry services but this was really quite expensive compared to other hotels in Argentina. For the price of this hotel, we expected a little better, but overall it was a decent hotel whose best feature is there location and friendly staff members.

Well located in downtown near plaza San Martin. Clean rooms and enough space to strecht out. The lobby are is well lit with its windows. Pool area is being redone as of this time of my visit.

The hotel is mostly nice. The downstairs is very nice and the service is great. The rooms are big and the bathrooms are nice with good water pressure. The beds are big. A few things need to be upgraded like the carpet. The air conditioner didn’t get as cold as I programmed it but I was still at a comfortable temperature.

We experienced a great stay at this hotel for the one night while we awaited crossing into Paraguay the next day. The front desk associate was extremely friendly and helpful when we checked in. We thought that we would be able to walk across the bridge, but he let us know that it was better (and not expensive) for us to just take a train. We had no idea there was even a train! The breakfast was also amazing with fruits, medialunas, eggs, potatoes, etc. I would definitely visit again!

Urban hotel wears really well its name as you can hear very well the street from your room : cars, trucks, anything you would expect in an urban area ! Bad windows ... so if your sleep is light, don’t forget your earplugs ! The whole room is covered by an old stained carpet that has this typical smell that sometimes comes to your nose ... like this mix of dust. Not great. On a bright note the hotel is well located and rooms are spacious. We didn’t try the pool ! The covid rules are a bit ridiculous for breakfast, you can not help yourself at a buffet. Stayed here to visit Jesuits ruins in Paraguay, perfect day trip!

Carpets, sheets and towels have stains and look dirty (not like in the photos). They did not have wifi for the whole week I stayed there; when asking they were always "trying to solve it". First room they gave us had a broken (batteries outside) safety coffer. Price is high for the lack of basic wifi and dirty blankets. If you've got international phone with no roaming, this place won't be the best choice.
