When I first arrived to bring in our family dog who had a ruptured cancerous cyst, I was a little skeptical after reading the website main page. We had to bring our beloved dog into tiny room and leave him there. After the doctor saw our dog they called right away and had to deliver the bad new of having to put down our dog. Once we arrived there was a room waiting for us with a hand made quilt layer out and they brought in our baby! We were told we could take as much as we needed to spend. Very thoughtful and gentle. A few days later we received a card in the mail with our babies paw print! Something they didn’t need to do but made me cry like a baby once we received it! I framed it and get to look at his paw print every day!

Have brought 2 different dogs here and have always had a good experience with staff. Brought my pom in this morning who had a severe wheezing cough that had lasted 3 days already...they had me in and out within 30 minutes. They prescribed my pom 2 medications and within hours she is night and day different. My dogs are my life. I was the annoying customer that called in 20 minutes after leaving, after researching everything they told me to make sure she was on the right meds etc. They were nice enough to put the actual vet on the phone to re explain things to me and make it make sense to me. Great service is sadly barely recognized, so I figured I'd leave a review ❤ Tauri and I barely slept last night... Tonight we will sleep good. Thank you.

Just wanted to say thank you to Annie and her amazing staff. They took care of our dog after he ate almost an entire pack of my son’s gum. They held onto him for three nights to monitor his glucose levels, and we are so relieved he’s ok. They were attentive, compassionate, and extremely kind. Hopefully we won’t need to go back, but if we do, we know we are in good hands. Highly recommend!

Very cordial and sensitive. We brought our beloved 16 year old dog here to be put to sleep :( it was time and she was ready to go. The staff was very sensitive and answered any questions and made sure we understood the process. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was because when the veterinarian came in for the actual procedure, we did not understand how fast it would happen. We were surprised and our dog was gone already. But very professional and courteous people.

I took my little dog for a bad ear infection. Everyone there was so nice and did a great job for my dog. It was a Saturday and everyone else is closed. The vet cleaned her ear and gave me antibiotics for her. I thought the price was good too considering that it was a weekend. My little dog is so worth it. Great place to take your sick pet. I highly recommend this place.

Take a moment and read the 1 star reviews and note they are all very recent to each other. Wish I would have! June 8, 2023 Called yesterday and spoke to "Faith" and explained my dog was having seizures and my primary vet suggests I euthanize her. It’s impossible to get in quickly with a regular vet care office, I asked Faith if I could transfer the notes and tests from my primary visit the day before and get a second opinion at their ER hospital. Faith said, "We absolutely can do that for you." and proceeded to give me the fax # and email address for my primary vet to send those records. Faith cautioned that they are a walk in clinic and they open at noon. Drove 1hr 1/2 to this ER hospital arriving at approximately 12:15pm. Called the number on the window to check in and got told "No, we don't do second opinions. We are not a diagnostic clinic. We don't treat seizures here. You need to go to a specialty clinic." She hung up on me when I understandably got upset that I was not going to be seen. I called back and tried to tell her that I'm not convinced she's even having true seizures and I'd like the vet to examine her. I told her she was having one of the seizing "fits" in my car right now. Again, she hung up on me after saying I'd have to wait. I got out of my car, carrying my seizing dog, and tried to enter the building but the door was locked. As I stood at the door, I called back again, because she didn't even take my name. I didn't know if I was in the queue or not! Spoke to a different woman who told me that it didn't matter what their receptionist (Faith) told me. I told her I expected a little professionalism and she said, "I expect you to have a little patience." I told her that "I had been hung up on, TWICE, and nobody even took my name, yet. I had zero confidence that anyone was going to help me!" She then told me, "I'm not the one you should be yelling at." Implying that she held some kind of position of power that I better kiss up to. She said that there is only one doctor there and two "girls" who are trying to handle "real" emergencies. She took my name and said "it would be a minute" and someone would call and "talk to me". That's not the same as "you're checked in and someone will come get you." I left and will take my chances at the CDA ER hospital when they open in 6 hours. Of course, I was upset. Anyone who was treated that way would be They heard “second opinion” and refused to hear anything else. I couldn’t believe it was happening! Evidently, a dog seizing in a car is not something this emergency vet hospital can handle. My dog should have been treated the same as any other walk in and they should have put us in the queue to be examined. If you're forced to come here, good luck. If you have the option of choosing another location, please do.

I have always had the best experience with all of my pets at this Pet Emergency, but yesterday, when I took my little dog in, Heather helped me and she was amazing! The best service, and help for my pets in the last 30 years.

Great experience! Got in right away (I know this can vary depending on volume). Treated our fur baby appropriately to give him the care he needed. Would definitely recommend for after hour care needs.

The Staff at this Facility are Amazing. When you need a place to have your animal treated, they get you in same day. Also, when we have had to say goodbye to our furry friend, we have used their services & we were greeted with warmth.🐾🤍

Good place. Staff was nice and they did everything they needed to to make sure my cat would recover well. The only downside is the price but that's a small part to deal with when your animal is sick. I recommend if you have an emergency.

Super disappointed in the care that my pup received from this place at first! Brought him in tonight for a gaping wound in his thigh that they didn't see or address 4 days ago when I brought him in for the first time! Shame on me for not being more on top of his situation but I thought he was just groggy from the meds. I'm so angry about the whole situation ... Luckily the lady tonight was able to correct the situation and make some sense of his injury. Wild surgery for sure but she did a fantastic job getting his wound closed. So thankful that he will be ok in a few weeks!!

They were so caring and compassionate. We had to rush there just before midnight on a Sunday night. It was time to say goodbye to my fur baby. The staff took very good care of him. I was able to stay with him the entire time. They didn't rush me at all. I am so thankful for them. They were there at the hardest part of being a pet owner.

I came from out of town with my new best friend and support puppy, that unfortunately had his left eye scratched by a cat. At first I thought that they were not going to help me out, I won't get into that part. But what I will say is that these folks care, I had never had to bring a pet in before so I just asked if they could patch him up. When told no I kinda freaked out. But they set me at ease and helped me out so much I'm proud to have taken my puppy there. I have a appointment at a vet here in Ellensburg on Monday to see if he will have to lose that eye

I had to take my Jack to the hospital after he had been in a fight. We have been here many times with our animals and love it. The Dr. Is amazing as well as all the staff. We live in Washington and drive out of our way to take our pets here! My Jack is doing awesome and on the mend. Thank you

Our most recent visit was a sad visit on a Sunday evening. Unfortunately, we were there to put down our chocolate lab after 12 and a half years. The staff was wonderful and very compassionate. They made us feel welcome and were very attentive to our "puppy".

Been to many emergency pet hospitals through the years. I have never met a more caring, professional and understanding facility that isnt trying to cash in on an emotional/financial situation. Truly looked out for our dogs best interest and put him first without an arm and a leg. Couldn't be more happy and Thankful. 👍👍❤❤

We took our dog to our vet and they immediately referred us to Emergency Pet Care in Post Falls, and we sure are glad they did. We were seen in about 10 minutes and our dog was out of surgery and back in our arm within an hour and a half. Everyone there was extremely helpful and caring. I appreciated knowing an estimate on the cost before the procedure and I was thrilled when it was even less than they had said. I don't remember our doctor's name, but she was amazing. Hopefully you never need Emergency pet care, but if you do, Emergency Pet Care in Post Falls is amazing!

This place is incredible!! I hope I never need Pet Emergency services again, but if I do, this will be where I take my pets. If they did regular Veterinary care, I would transfer all my pet's care to them!! We had to rush our 11 week old German Shepherd puppy there after an incident at his regular vet office (I won't put the details here) on a Saturday evening. I've worked in the animal industry in some fashion for 30 years and have owned animals for over 40 years and I've never been so terrified during a pet emergency. The staff was incredible in calming me down and speaking to me in a professional capacity. We had to leave him there overnight and the overnight staffer Taylor was a blessing!! He has a real talent in putting you at ease. Having to leave my new baby overnight was one of the hardest things I ever had to do, and after talking to Taylor, I was actually able to get some rest! Thanks to everyone that helped my little guy!!

I've brought my dog Kaia here several times, and I'm always very impressed by the care and compassion of all the staff. Even if they are busy they never seemed rushed and they give their 100% attention to you and your pet. Annie the veterinarian shows a magnitude of knowledge so I always feel like my fur baby is in the best hands. I highly recommend bringing your pets here for any urgent services. You will be in great hands.
