On
April
29,
2022,
I
ate
at
the
White
House
Grill
for
the
first
time.
My
wife
and
5-year-old
daughter
and
2-year-old
son
comprised
part
of
a
13-person
party
that
gathered
to
celebrate
my
sister-in-law’s
birthday.
What
a
fun
place
to
eat!
We
were
seated
at
a
long
table
in
the
back
of
the
restaurant
and
had
a
really
memorable
time.
First,
the
food.
My
wife
ordered
the
Turkish
Cigars
as
an
appetizer
and
I
have
to
be
honest
and
say
they
weren’t
really
my
cup
of
tea.
I
was
hoping
for
a
greater
cheese
balance
than
spinach
balance
but
that
is
just
the
way
things
go.
My
hesitancy
made
my
wife
happy
because
it
meant
more
Turkish
Cigars
for
her.
For
my
entrée
I
ordered
the
chicken
burger.
The
large
piece
of
tender,
garlic-y
chicken
was
in
between
a
pretzel
bun
and
was
so
good.
I
enjoyed
the
seasoned
French
fries
and
managed
to
eat
every
one.
My
wife
ordered
the
Chicken
Rome
and
let
me
tell
you,
that
chicken
breast
was
on
point!
Tasty
and
flavorful,
I
couldn’t
let
it
go
to
waste
after
my
wife
stopped
eating
it
simply
because
her
stomach
had
reached
capacity.
I
do
have
to
point
out
that
the
pasta
served
with
it
was
a
little
burnt
with
a
spongy
consistency.
Perhaps
best
of
all
though
was
the
curried
chicken
ravioli.
I
am
a
big
curry
fan
and
the
White
House
ravioli
does
it
justice.
The
menu
describes
the
sauce
as
“rich”
and
that
truly
is
the
best
way
to
describe
it.
It
truly
is
a
rich,
flavorful
dish.
A
children’s
menu
is
offered
and
my
daughter
got
spaghetti
and
my
son
got
a
grilled
cheese
sandwich.
I
want
to
now
address
the
value.
It
is
excellent.
Portions
are
large
and
menu
prices
are
low
compared
to
what
your
average
restaurant
charges.
It
is
a
win-win!
You
can
get
appetizers
for
around
$5,
many
entrees
are
priced
in
the
$11-$13
range,
and
children’s
menu
options
run
in
the
$4.50-$6
range.
You
won’t
feel
ripped
off
or
cheated
here.
You
pay
a
pretty
small
price
for
a
large
amount
of
delicious
food.
Next
you
have
the
atmosphere.
As
I
mentioned,
the
White
House
Grill
is
a
fun
place
to
eat.
The
restaurant
layout
is
quirky
with
several
different
sections
throughout
the
space.
But
no
matter
where
you
are
in
the
place,
that
one-of-a-kind
roasted
strong
garlic
smell
will
delight
your
nose.
Acoustics
in
the
restaurant
don’t
offer
a
silent
dining
experience
by
any
means
but
it
isn’t
too
loud
to
have
an
audible,
room-level
conversation
at
your
table.
Lighting
is
dimmed
and
relaxed/romantic.
All
stimuli
that
you
encounter
within
White
House
will
aid
in
a
pleasant
experience.
Last
but
not
least,
I
want
to
commend
the
service.
Kailie
was
our
server
and
from
the
moment
we
sat
down
to
when
we
left
at
the
end
of
the
night,
she
worked
her
tail
off.
She
was
kind
and
engaging
with
a
smile
on
her
face
the
whole
time.
She
was
easy
to
talk
to
and
our
large
party’s
order
came
out
perfect.
She
rounded
up
her
crew
to
sing
“happy
birthday”
to
my
sister-in-law
and
she
gladly
served
a
cake
that
we
brought
from
home.
My
wife
and
I
ordered
sodas
and
she
was
attentive
to
bring
us
refills
whenever
she
noticed
our
glass
getting
low.
We
all
genuinely
appreciated
Kailie’s
effort.
I
strongly
recommend
the
White
House
Grill
as
it
delivers
in
all
respects.
I
look
forward
to
dining
there
again
and
suggesting
it
to
friends.
