We visited from out of town and wanted to check out a local restaurant. This was a great pick! It looks like a little house with a cute patio and interesting decor. The service was excellent and food was very tasty. We had the cauliflower tacos and chicken burger. Would definitely come back if we’re passing through!

Wow! Stopped here on a road-trip with my parents and we were all blown away. The service was great and the food was even better! They have a large tap list for such a small place. We got the fries, cauliflower tacos, bowl, and fish and chips. *chef’s kiss* Lexi did a great job and really took care of us. 10/10, would go again.

It was a hot summer day and we were hungry & thirsty. Our experience was great! My burger was fantastic, I loved the bun and the fries were perfectly seasoned. We got a table outside with an umbrella. It was so fun to eat outside and enjoy the weather. Our server was upbeat and fun. I love this place!

12/03/2022 Just wanted to update our review of Republic! This restaurant has got to be one of the top 3 places in North Idaho and Eastern Washington area. The flavor combos, presentation and atmosphere is second to none. Staff is friendly and it's just an all around great place. Totally LOVE! This time we tried the twice fried chicken sandwich and the garlic dip. What a stellar meal. Thanks Republic Kitchen and Taphouse for loving food the way you do! 2/14/2022 Went in today for Valentine's day lunch. First time visiting and was pleasantly surprised. Very sweet little spot. We went in with our eats already chosen. Started with the Avocado Nachos and these are an absolute MUST! Main course was the Monte Cristo.... Wasn't super impressed with this sandwich but was not disappointed at all. Then the plan was to end with the PB and J crisp but it wasn't listed on the menu and we were too full to even think about it. All in all it was a great new spot and we look forward to trying many things they have on the menu. That Gal that greeted us was very nice and welcoming and out server was very attentive. It was a fun new place to find!

I tell you this place never disappoints! Absolutely love the atmosphere here, the menu is unique and has its own twist to it. The customer service is exceptional and the food arrives quickly, keep up the amazing work!

A great experience from start to finish, food was amazing, atmosphere super comfortable and appealing. We were lucky to have Kaycie as our server and she was fantastic, always checking up on us and was a complete delight. My wife and I highly recommend Repub.

Recently been frequenting restaurants in the Post Falls/CDA area and have tasted some good food, but WOW. This little place after a couple visits has been established in my regard as the BEST restaurant in the area HANDS DOWN. The atmosphere is warm, cozy and inviting, with staff that are friendly, attentive and professional! The prices are competitive, and the food is OUTSTANDING! The dishes I have had the pleasure of eating during my visits there have included complex ingredient combinations, cooked to perfection. Their cauliflower tacos are a delicacy, and their Jalapeno popper burger is my new favorite sandwich! Their fry sauce was excellent, but you didn't even need it because both the sides of fries and sweet potatoes were so delicious on their own! I WILL be coming back. OFTEN.

Visited this place for the first time today. The food was great! Loved their pretzel with the fancy little cilantro sprigs. 😋 Got the Monte Cristo and Dirty Mac. Their raspberry jam is delicious! 😋

This review is for the owners... Please put on your menu that the pickles are SWEET. We asked for extra pickles with our burger and the waitress did not say that it was an extra 75 cent charge or that they were sweet pickles. Sadly, at the end of the evening when we all asked what the extra charge on all of our bills were for, the waitress did not respond very well even though not one of us asked to have it taken off our check. I nicely (and it really was said nicely) said, "just for future reference, you might want to let people know that they are sweet pickles" her response was, "well I assumed you all have been here before and know that we only make them sweet." I was surprised at her answer, but as my husband pointed out, it really is mostly on the owners to put that on their menu along with the extra charge for pickles.... customers shouldn't have to ask their waiters what costs extra and what doesn't. Otherwise, food was fairly good. Some things were great and others just so-so. I don't think it's as good as the price, but it's good enough to go along with good beer.

Chili was so good!! Topped with cornbread croutons and pickled veggies (made in house). Great combination!!

After my first visit, I have a new favorite restaurant! The food is amazing and service was spectacular! It's a bit small, but it totally adds to the whole vibe of the restaurant, and it looks like have some decent patio space for warmer weather. It added to the whole experience when I got to watch the chef come out to a table of older ladies and he went over the menu with them answering every question they had and making sure their food was prepared exactly how they desired. My husband had the jalapeño popper burger, and I got the Mac n cheese, both absolutely amazing! Again with chef coming to make sure it was Creamy and cheesy enough for my liking, and it sure was! Overall, it was one of the best experiences I've ever had in a restaurant.

Cozy space, friendly service, and a nice and unique menu selection for a small space. Asian twist to the American classics. Bike themed decor is a nice touch.

Great little place to get a meal. Fish and chips were good. There's not a lot of room in there but definitely a cozy feel. I definitely recommend giving it a shot.

Had the Repub Bowl and it was very tasty. I would definitely get it again.

Post Fall’s food gem Republic Kitchen and Taphouse serves tasty food with complex ingredients. The happy-hour potato chip nachos had crunch, spicy aioli, was smooth and creamy, and pairs well with any beer. Dishes incorporate seasonal ingredients. Service is welcoming, and the old-house charm will bring you back!

I don’t get the hype of this place honestly, we came on a Saturday afternoon around 2:30. They weren’t very busy. Service was meh. I ordered the regular Mac n cheese, was very bland, and not saucy enough. Husband ordered a burger with sweet potatoes. He said burger was fine, but the sweet potatoes were just diced up covered in a sauce? Which he hates all sauce and it didn’t say that on the menu. We were expecting just basic sweet potato fries. Overall, for how expensive this place is, and the quality of the food, we will not be returning.

My husband and I went for the first time for lunch on the 4th of July. Amazing drinks and food. My hubby had the Bleu Burger, he raved about it in between huge bites, and I had the PB&J Burger, absolutely delicious! Freshly made, juicy burgers with great toppings. And the Republic fries are highly recommended. Our server, Daisy, was super friendly, fun, and attentive. Looking forward to trying more of their menu!

I’ve visited twice now and had excellent experiences both times! The atmosphere is lovely whether sitting inside or outside, and the service and food have yet to disappoint! The strawberry mint salad and Korean fried chicken sandwich most recently were both very delicious! The pb&j burger is also fantastic. We like to visit whenever we’re in town!

If there were more stars available I would give them! Food was wonderful, atmosphere cool, and Shelby our waitress was super! We had the burgers and chicken sandwiches. The home made sauce and pickles were what put everything over the top! Glad we found this spot and would come again if we travel from the east coast again!

We are on an 30+ mile round trip cycling adventure from Spokane, WA to Post Falls, ID. @republickitchen&taphouse was our half way point. We visited pre-pandemic and wondered what post pandemic would be like. Wonder no more - it is not only better it was relaxing and so friendly that we wanted to stay longer but time is flying and the bikes are calling. The menu has changed, for the better I might add. Our fan favorite of hummus was gone and they added a Relish Extravaganza in its place for those of us with alternative dietary requirements. We had plain sweet potato fries that were more like fried sweet potato than French fries. It was a great move and they were meatier and more delicious if that is even possible. The relish extravaganza was phenomenal! We had pickled beets and peppers with fresh toasted olives, a lively bed of fresh greens and lightly roasted asparagus. The dip with the plate was wicked good or so the husband says with all of the goodies and including the sweet potato fries. Then because all of that was not enough they served us house made potato chips - thick cut mind you! They were wicked good without the dip. Again hubby says with dip they were mmmm good! 🤣 Oh and we were so hungry and pleased with the food that I forgot to take before photos. Sorry but you will do the same 😎! The tap beer selection was sufficient to touch in every palette. I had an Irish Death Stout and hubby had Sofa King Dreamy IPA. He drank the first so fast a second was needed to pacify his thirst. Mike was a sweet professional waitstaff that acknowledged us quickly and with only two got us seated fast. Service was as good as we anticipated and appreciated it again! We will be back!

We drove by this place earlier in the day and thought it was SO adorable we had to come back! The atmosphere is awesome. Outdoor seating, historical site with loads of cool information, and great location. Sad to say, the food was laughable. We ordered a burger and chicken sandwich. The brioche buns were great, but the burger and chicken were literally HALF the size of the bun. I took at least 5 bites of my sandwich where I didn’t get any burger, only bun. Same with the chicken, it was literally a breast cut down! The seasoned fries looked like old bay, but are basically covered in taco seasoning. All in all, great vibe, bad value for food. If you’re looking for a snack, this place will do. If you’re hungry, grab a bite somewhere else.

Food was so good! My husband got a burger and it was juicy, spicy and the bun was on point. I got the Repub Bowl, no egg. OMG, so yummy. Full of flavor, I ate it all. We both got the Sofa King Dreamy beer and it was delicious. Great atmosphere and the service was great. We will definitely be back.

I love the vegetarian/vegan options! That’s tough to find this neck of the woods. 🤪 The food is good with nice portions. The marinated carrots are amazing!

Absolutely love the food here it's 5 star, I do have an issue with service I received on this visit. I must have been seated in the invisible section as I watched several tables seated after me receiving their drinks and getting their orders taken before me. The waitress seamed frazzled and was not very personal with our table, she appeared to have friends seated across the restaurant from our table and spent most of her time chatting with them. This will not deter me from enjoying the really excellent food but I'd love for management to address the invisible table issue experienced by those seated on the far side of the bar.

This quaint little TapHouse is fantastic!!! I wanted something new and enjoy a good beer. When I searched for breweries near where I was.Republic Kitchen popped up. The staff was friendly and attentive. I ordered the pretzel as I just wanted something simple, but most definitely will go back for some of there other menu items too.
