Surprising find in Post Falls. Often newer places like this are simply trying too hard and end up overdone and expensive. Not so much for the SawMill. The food was amazing and a great value. Beer selection was a little limited in styles, but overall still just fine. Service was great, family friendly, and the overall atmosphere was very comfortable and relaxing. I would highly recommend the tacos. The burgers are delicious and messy. The kids chicken strips portion was huge. Solid for any larger kid. I’ll be back!

Was worried because of some of the reviews but our experience was great. Busy Friday night so we had a drink in their new bar called the 99 Whiskey Lounge located upstairs with great vibe and atmosphere/view outside. Hostess came up and got us for our table. All our food was great. They know how to cook a burger medium rare! Great service! Brought us a blanket when we were cold. Just good all around! Glad we went!

My family stopped into this restaurant for dinner as we were passing through Idaho. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich, sweet potato tots, fish and chips and Caesar salad. Everything tasted great, good and FAST service.

Fish and chips done to perfection with sweet potato nuggets and house made coleslaw and dip. As well as the French dip sandwich and sweet potato nuggets a must try for everbody. Great outdoor seating and happy and helpful staff is the topping of a great meal.

We like to frequent the Sawmill Grille for the atmosphere and good food. Tonight we met one of the newest employees, Alejandro. Good humored and fun to have him here. I would usually give five stars, but they were so busy tonight, the service was not as fantastic as usual. Thank you Alejandro and Sawmill Grille for keeping it great! 9/7/22 returned for another great experience. Still enjoying it. No let down yet. Thanks for still keeping it great!

So, so good. I stopped in following a store clerk's recommendation on a Thursday afternoon. My server was friendly and good at her job and the Sawmill has a low-key feel in a nice space. I ordered the House Burger. I'll disclose that I was famished, but that burger was a real treat! I'm still thinking about the bacon jam. And I appreciate hot, crispy-yet-creamy, well-seasoned French fries. Sawmill Grille & Spirits checked all my boxes.

Hands down best burger I've had in the Spokane/Coeur d'Alene area. They get their beef from a local ranch (Lone Crow Ranch) and you can tell the difference in quality vs commercially farmed beef. Had the house burger. Bacon jam is incredible. The dill pasta salad is amazing. The sweet potato tots actually stay together as they should unlike most places that serve a crumbly mess. I cannot speak highly enough of the food here

I was really impressed by the service. I was seated right away, my order was taken as soon as I was ready, and my order was delivered quickly and correctly. The staff was really friendly. The grilled fish tacos had a tangy spice and I really enjoyed them. I don't recommend the house salad; it's a boring iceberg lettuce thingy. I really liked the atmosphere and would eat here again.

Sawmill was absolutely amazing!!!! All the food was top tier, drinks were great. The service was literally the fastest we've had. (My partner actually said he was overwhelmed, in a good way, by all the great food at once, haha) The place was packed and we still got our food in record time! The jalepano and artichoke dip was unreal, the chips tasted like they were made in house. I got the shrimp tacos, my partner got a burger with pulled pork. We both really liked our food! Can't recommend this place enough, definitely one of our favorite spots now!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Post falls. It's a little spendy but they actually give you large portions. I've never had a bad meal from here yet. We go almost once a month on our date night and never have issues getting right in. I will say that we've waited over 30 minutes for our food to come out, but it's always well worth the wait since everything is fresh and tasty. I highly recommend the pulled pork tacos! 😋

Went here for lunch with a friend while in town. There was a bit of a wait, around 15 min, to get a table. This was during peak lunch hour. The staff were very helpful, and polite and we were served very quickly after we were seated. We spent more than an hour there just talking after we finished eating, but didn't feel rushed to finish up and leave. I liked the interior and feel of the place as well. I would go here again.

The Sawmill was very good, not great, but solid. It was their in-house BBQ sauce that seals the deal. I ordered The Falls pulled-pork sandwich. The pulled pork was average to slightly above average. But the BBQ sauce was a smokey sweet bourbon, which is tangy but no heat. I definitely recommend giving this place a try.

The chicken burger was delicious, and fries were amazing as well. I will forever go to this place for a burger and fries. The animal burger is to die for. Best burgers in postfalls, I say

Nice and friendly folks that offered a hearty lunch all with a smile on their faces. I stopped by the other day for a quick bite and found out they allow leashed dogs on their patio! The Pup enjoyed his burger patty on his own plate and water dish. I hadn't eaten at the Sawmill Grille since the pandemic, but now we look forward to going back weekly 😍 😋

Mixed review here, want to start off by saying that we’ve been a few times in the food taste great every time. Solid menu and atmosphere. But my grandpa straight up pulled out a piece of cardboard from his burger. They of course said it was free and apologized, we will be back but gonna wait a minute

Quick & yummy on & off the highway. Looking for a quick bite to eat & refueling before heading on down the road. It was pretty busy when we got there & busier when we left, the service was fairly quick & amenable. Crispy tots, yummy tacos 🌮 & burger 🍔

My kid loves their cheese burger from the kids menu. Pulled pork tacos are amazingly good. The barbecue sauce has a nice sweetness to it without being overly sweet. The pork mac and cheese has wonderful flavor, super creamy. Chicken quesadilla has nice cunks of chicken and is big enough to share. The staff is always friendly.

Good burger (lettuce wasn’t washed thoroughly), but otherwise tasted great. Very good fries. Good decorations and atmosphere. Would come back again.

Great atmosphere, great food! My wife and I went to lunch here, at about 2 on a Monday, so it wasn't crowded. Nice relaxing place, the burgers were amazing, I had the black elk BBQ burger, which is a beef patty, black elk BBQ sauce, and onion ring in it, with crispy fries on the side, and we love crispy fries. My wife had the spicy guac burger, which had onions, cheese, guac, jalapenos, and bacon with the burger. Our side was the Spokane Street fries, which was a meal in itself! Waffled fries, chili and cheese on top with a peblano/guac sauce on top. Super good. You've got to check out this amazing little restaurant!!

We are sitting in the Whiskey lounge and the bartender/waiter John M is top notch! The food is amazing and they have great music. The drinks are crafted by people that actually know alcohol and how the flavors respond to each other. We got to witness them perfecting a drink before adding it to the menu and they all came up and had a drink and weighed in on the flavors. Super friendly and wonderful place. When we come back to Post Falls this is where we are eating!

Go upstairs and have a cocktail! Very cool rooftop patio too. Great whiskey selection and bartenders that know what they're doing. Fun, fun, fun.

Have had this on my want to go list and after tromping around in the Post Falls Community Forest I think a meal and a beverage was the least we could reward ourselves with. BLT-A had the right amount of bacon and my drink was really good. We will be back!!!

On Friday, May 13, my wife and I plus another couple ate at Sawmill Grille for the first time. We were seated upstairs in the 99 Whiskey Lounge. It was an intimate and comfortable spot. The special cocktail drinks are pretty darn good as my wife ordered the Treaty Rock. I was especially adventurous and ordered a Bud Light bottle haha (my wife’s drink was really good though). I ordered the Sawmill Chicken sandwich and my wife ordered the TBR sandwich. The food presentation is awesome and the portions are large. My chicken sandwich was a little dry but my wife really enjoyed her sandwich. Alivia was our server and she did a fine job. Prices are decent, especially for the amount that you get. If the opportunity ever presents itself to return to the Sawmill Grille we will.
