    Can I give a minus star rating? What a terrible McDonald's! The poorest service ever! We waited 45 minutes for our 2 milkshakes @ 20h00. It wasn't even busy, only about 12 people and not even a full drive thru. No body at the counter helping and when we asked about our order after 35 minutes, the staff laughed and spoke in a sarcastic way. Then when we got the milkshake, it was not as advertised. The milkshake was smaller and very bad presentation. I will never support this McDonald's again.

    no milkshake so i stood in the que for 30min with no notivications otherwise i would have left 30min ago. i told them to add a notification up, my order was wrong, so i feel they got spitefull to add to mush hot sause on my burger now it ruend and you cant taste anything besides hot sause, i even tried to whipe it off buy still burning..worst worst crevice ever im duscusted. not even 1 rate worth

    We made use of the drive through. We could barely hear the person taking our order and he could barely hear us. The nuggets were old and the chips were old. They didn't get our sauces right either, despite the fact that we checked our order at the pay window. Nothing new, I officially don't recommend this place.

    Terrible staff. This is the second time I’m receiving terrible service from the staff here. the night shift staff at this mcdonalds always say that products are out of stock when they aren’t. They also claimed that it isn’t open 24hours on weekends, and that they are closed , they close all the windows and don’t even want to look at the customers , When clearly there’s an outside sign saying it is open 24 hours on weekends. They always close the doors early to clean and go home without regards to the opening hours , they don’t know how to treat customers, the night shift staff here are rude , lazy and have terrible attitudes.The owner should Look into this as they don’t seem keen to work. They will run this McDonald's at a loss if they keep this up

    I saw the kitchen staff assemble burgers wearing blue gloves. Blue gloves are strictly reserved for handling meat only and should be discarded immediately after use. They don't seem to grasp the idea of cross contamination. Also they don't do 'two at a time, using two hands' and pushing two complete orders in the sandwich holder for the runner to quickly get grab and serve. As a result the store and drive thru got congested and people failed to adhere to Social Distancing. Regional manager should intervene and make sure that the staff is properly trained and/or re-trained if necessary.

    It would get a 0 start, but unable to give such a low rating. Worst service ever, half the time the card machine is not working. Not open during loadshedding. Almost never has ice cream available. Rather go to KFC

    We ordered a Grand Chicken Special meal - on the burger we got a lot of lettuce, tomato, a drop of mayo and bacon but NO CHICKEN or cheese in sight! The prices are rediculous and you get nothing in return.

    We arrived at 6h30 am to order hot chocolate and coffee at the drive thru. First they told us to order at the window which was closed. Then pointed us to the next window which also was closed. Then pointed us back to the other window! Then shouted through the closed window to order inside. We told them to open the window. Then only did somebody come with the key! We were told the machine for hot chocolate and cappuccino were not working so we could only order black coffee. This is suppose to be a 24 hour take away place. Really a let down!

    Drive thru not working, no signs or info. Once you've wasted time there you go inside... There are 3 touch screens for placing orders... Only 1 works... So everyone queues.... Staff won't assist otherwise.... Too much effort... Food is dismal... 1 star rating is even a stretch... Spending hard earned... More like wasting away time and money. Never is a long time, but confident they won't see me again!

    The staff is rude, it is a struggle to make the order with no assistance from staff. They are just standing around incapable of helping and when someone comes to assist they got a bad attitude. Very bad sevice and over all experience at this McDonald's

    Had no Milkshakes was quite disappointing. That was the reason we went. There was also a lot of begging at the drive through while in the queue. Would not recommend them.

    Food and service not bad. I was disappointed though when, with my last visit, they didn't have all the ingredients for my ice coffee. I offered to pay for the ice coffee without the toppings, if I may have the ice-cream cones I also ordered with a little bit extra ice-cream. I was bluntly refused and had to pay for sub-standard food. I think training staff in negotiation or communication on unavailable items will go a long way.

    Worst service ever the last week i have gotta McDonalds 3 times this week when you don't wait for a half and hour for your food they don't have stuff or they don't have Cup Holders and if you ask if they can make a plan because your alone in the car and can't hold 2 Mcflurrys and Drink while driving the guy at the window just strip him self and put my drinks on the table and let me wait for 10 minutes him just standing there

    I've been a customer of Macdonalds for years. I haven't ever had an experience this bad in my life. We bought 6 meals and drinks... we ordered through the intercom. And then when we arrived at the window... the lady's name was Precious. And the service was awful. She rolled her eyes multiple times. The first time she rolled her eyes was when I asked her to repeat the order. We waited long for our food and when we got the food the chips was harder than Simba chips. Her attitude stinks.

    Although the food is amazing, this branch of McDonald's is a safety risk as there is no protection provided for customers with regards to the hawkers walking around and harrassing you to open your windows. McDonald's has done nothing to improve the safety of their customers. The customer service is terrible as they cannot focus on your order and then you need to repeat it about 3 times. Lines are always long and if they do not have any change, then it is the customer's problem. What has become of this once fine and safe establishment? Most people, including myself, are scared for our safety due to the individuals lurking around at night and taking chances at McDonald's. Professionalism also out of the window.

    Almost every time we’ve been through the drive-thru the service has been so poor. The staff is rude and the waiting time for a drive-thru is insane because it defeats the purpose (it would’ve been faster to order inside). And it always feels super unsafe, because while you order almost 2/3 people comes to your window and tries to “smous” you something & there has been instances where people were almost hi-jacked. I’d rather drive to Klerksdorp to eat McD’s than in my own town. This is the worst McDondald’s I’ve ever been too.

    Absolutely disgusted with the customers service received. When placing my order at the drive through, my order was incorrectly processed. After paying an unusually high amount I received my slip and saw additional items I definitely did not want. Immediately I asked for a refund and cancellation of my order. I was blatantly refused a refund. I am shocked, angry and dissapointed. There is no excuse for terribly trained employees.

    Unfortunately have to give 1 star only because the intercom works at Potch Mc Donald's. Maybe a complete closure would be more beneficial because everything else doesn't work. They NEVER have ice cream and I mean NEVER. Their food is way below expectations, drive thru should rather be named walk thru backwards with your feet tied and maybe your order will be ready when you get to the collections window.

    Waiting more than an hour for a fast food order... Worker asking me if they can do other orders before my order after waiting for more than an hour. Just go to the new mc donalds at Vyfhoek. The people here don't know what they are doing.

    Poor service as we waited 18 minutes for food to be served and after eaten, I bought 🍦 🍨 ice-cream for my kids and we waited for another 15 minutes before it can be served. The worst 😭 part of them all was when I ordered 🍦 ice-cream cone with flake for myself. I went out and waited in the car and after 10 minutes I went back to enquire why it was taking so long. It was when I found my son holding a cone without flake and it was already melting. I then ask for the manager who never came to the front to attend to my query. I asked one lady what was happening and she said one of the ladies was at the back looking for a flake while my son was still holding the cone which was smelting. I then told the lady that I was not going to accept the smelting cone and asked her to take it from my son. After 15 minutes of poor service we were then told that the flakes were out of stock. Please investigate this poor service after taking my kids out and driving from Tembisa to Potchefstroom and to experience the worst ever service.

    Extremely unwelcoming. Very unfriendly and arrogant staff. Did not want to serve us in would not recommend this place to anyone. Also never have milkshake as the machine is always “Broken”

    The restaurant was clean and tidy as always. I haven't been there in a while so the new ordering system was a small surprise, and it took some time to get around it but the staff there were quick to help and friendly. The food didn't take very long to come. We didn't get serviettes and straws but the staff there is so polite and quick to help, I'm not complaining 😉

    Placed an order for 2 sausage muffins meals and waited more than an hour to get order. Did not receive the hash browns with the order and coffee was cold!! Staff was unfriendly and there was a staff member in the kitchen that was yelling so hard. This McDonalds was not up to standard they have to get new staff

    It was my first time visiting this MacDonalds today. Ordering was disappointing as i could see the combo price, but when it came to selecting the cold drink, an additional charge came up for all the options.. so it’s not a combo deal. To me this is false advertising. Food came quick, but not all the sit-down tables were clean. My lady friend who used the bathroom, said it wasn’t as clean as she’d like and there was no toilet paper.

    Short of other burger, another burger roll had mould. Realized that when I was already at home in township. Asked for petrol money when I went to ask about mould they said they don't have money but gave me free milkshake. The standard is no longer the same

    Awful service... I went there only 1 self service kiosk was working. Fine... after placing my order I waited 10-15 minutes before I was told that I had to give them the slip so they can make my order fine... while I was waiting a gentleman put in a similar order to mine his was dine in I was take away... the lady at the desk who had already took my slip decided to give out his order first as I saw it was similar to mine I walked forward to the counter and asked her if she could make it a take away(not thinking much as maybe she was underpersure/new) girl answers me "I only serve orders I made Sorry " keep in mind it's been 30-40 min now and she had my receipt. The lady that was assisting the MrD asked her where is my order as I've been there long before the people she served and she boldly said ga aditsene(not getting involved) a guy who works there saw that me and my partner where getting irritated and assisted us with an open heart within 5 min he had our order... him I thank I didnt get his name but as for the lady aowa and the supervisor/or front people for not taking initiative to make sure that the people take their orders to the counter so that they get processed is a big nono

    Such an unpleasant experience we've been having at McDonalds Potchefstroom. Extremely poor service. Very long waiting times. Food was cold. Only 1 of the 3 order points are on. The ice-cream machine has been out of order for the past 3 months. Unfortunately this McD's is a big let down and does not meet standards.

This was the worst, dry, half made, half garnished chicken burger I ever had at a McDonald's... Seriously there is no passion for good service or food at this branch. Totally disappointed.

    I order a cream soda. With my drink and got carbonated water. There out of operation for like an hour after load shedding is over because “they need to wait for everything to start up again. Sometimes there card machines don’t work, and after ordering in drive thru and waiting for 20 minutes they tell you they can only accept cash. Terrible management, rude useless staff ect.

    Pathetic level of professionalism. I just wanted a nice box of chilli cheese fries but they told me that there are no jalapeños, so I asked for more cheese sauce since there are no jalapeños but I was told I would have to pay for more sauce or not order the chips. I am paying for the jalapeños that I’m not getting i feel like the least I’m entitled to is more sauce. Pathetic mcDonalds rather go up the road to KFC or Romans.
