I was a loyal customer of Al sham since three years and I used to order via Zomato frequently. I had some bitter experiences while ordering grill chicken and recently switched to their 'in-house' delivery. But Yesterday, despite mentioning them specifically to deliver a well grilled chicken, I got a soggy one with raw masala smell all over. Totally disappointed and felt humiliated in front of the guests. I'm never ever ordering from here again. Better get a new chef, else you will be losing your valuable customers in no time.

Bought grill chicken from this Potheri al sham last week. We fell severely ill after having it and still didn't recover. Started with indigestion, vomitting and now finally blood infection. Running to hospital everyday since then!! Are you people cooking for humans or animals? Can't you provide quality food for the price we pay? Stale and rotten chicken is the only thing they serve here. I read another review saying there were worms in the grill chicken. Who the hell knows, may be we have eaten the same worm chicken too!! Yuk People especially with kids please stay away this outlet!!! Maraimalai nagar alsham is far far better and hygienic than this infested outlet!! Ps: To the owner, You'll reply to this review saying we didn't receive complaint and show us the proof. If you insist, i shall send you all the hospital records and lab reports!

A pretty good good..but the service and their hygeine is not so good.They have their specials like biriyani and their fresh fruit juice s and milkshakes.Usually it is full of SRM people crowd.AC doesn't work well..not much great seating place.

Totally disappointed with Al sham restaurant Potheri found a cockroach in our plate while having food So Srm Folks pls stay away from Unhealthy food and they showed their real arrogance towards us while approaching them with problem.

Great food, great taste, excellent value. outside college campus, a comfortable 10–15-minute walk. home delivery is also available to nearby hostels. I loved the crab lollipop and the chicken noodle soup. had a heart meal for two for no more than 1200. enjoyable experience. will be back.

The place is bustling with college crowd most of the time. The takeaway was given to us swiftly despite the crowd. Mutton biriyani is a must try here. One of the best!!! Tandoori was perfectly cooked and super juicy. Both the mint chutney and mayo were awesome. Must visit place!!!

The service was so bad and they make horrible food. They are very rude. We ordered soup. The chicken was uncooked and they used spoiled milk. The quantity was so less (3 spoons) and it was made entirely of tastemakers and they add so much salt and when we tell them they act ignorant. The cashier threw the bill card when complained about this. The worst restaurant i have ever been to. Absolutely disgusting and unapologetic behaviour.

If u ask special biriyani then they will give u egg fried rice with 3 pieces boneless chicken on it. Very much disappointed. Grilled chicken was good.

Worst experience and unhygienic meal. We found cockroach flying on our plates while eating and the staffs were not approachable at all when complained. The owner also just pointed random reasons for this incident and argued without apologizing. Totally absurd behaviour.

Pretty average food!,chicken biryani is just tomato rice with chicken pieces (they r soft nd well cooked though) & spl chicken biryani is egg fried rice with 3 chicken pieces., and their veg fried rice is so sweet that they can add that dish in desert section

Cost friendly and tasty. Ambience can be better. Mayonnaise chicken and maharaja chicken is a must try.

ingredients used is sub par. too much cheap spice used. not good for your tummy,. also if you are going to order on swiggy. or zomato. be ready to pay twice the price you would pay when you walk into the restaurant

A good place for nonveg food near SRM. Not recommended for vegetarian dishes. Usually gets too crowded in peak hours as Students from SRM gather here in masses. Don't have a parking space.

Bought fish biryani...very worst...it was not fish..it was dry fish means karuvadu...did not respond properly for the conplaint
