I recently had the most beautiful experience at Hajara's Kitchen & Suya Supply where I tried their jollof rice meal with chicken. The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming, and the woman running the place was incredibly friendly. Now, let me tell you about the jollof rice – it was pure magic! The rice was perfectly cooked, and the tomato-based sauce with all those spices was a burst of delicious flavors. The chicken was amazing and the vegetables was so delicious!!! My family and I loved it so much that we couldn't resist getting seconds. We came back to the restaurant two days in a row to get more food! I can't recommend this place enough. It's the best African food I've had in ages. If you're looking for a wonderful meal in a cozy atmosphere, do yourself a favor and pay them a visit. You won't regret it! And I would to add that is the most affordable place ever. I got a huge portion of food at a good cost!

Finally found an African restaurant that I’ve always wanted. Excellent food! Hajara's Kitchen and Suya supply is the best Nigerian/African restaurant I've visited  in the DMV! Ambiance is great too. I had the suya platter and jellof rice with fried fish. The owner Hajara showed us her 2023 Jellof winner award for all of the DMV and yes, it was well deserved. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The jollof with Suya and plantain gave me the comforting feeling of home-cooked food. Despite the challenge of finding the place in its old pizza location, the delightful food and music made it worthwhile. The charming hostel further added to the overall sweet experience. Highly recommend!

Amazing dishes! Tried out the Egusi and pounded yam, Jollof rice and Suya (not at one sitting :-)). All were amazing and the host Hajara is a delight with great plans for the place and more. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Wow...oh my...! The food here is yummy. The place is so clean too. I had jollof rice, salad, fried plantain with tilapia- it was so delicious! The previous night I also enjoyed the egwusi soup with pounded yam. You guys are amazing, and really doing a great job. Hajara and her husband are warm and kind! GOOD JOB GUYS!!!

Hajara was wonderful. She was very friendly and made u feel very welcome. The food was very very good. The egusi and pounded yam was very authentic and home made. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

Went here on a whim because we had hungry kiddos and were out shopping - I am happy we went!! The kid working in the front shows true work ethic and was so sweet. Pizza was truly the best I personally have ever had and we will definitely make this our new spot! Really good prices too
