Perfect for a road trip stop overnight. Clean hotel, nice layout of rooms. Rooms could use smart tv's. Complimentary breakfast is appreciated, but would be helpful if at least grab and go items stayed out a little longer. Food service employee was a little frustrated that she was trying to clean up at 9:30 and my kids were wanting some cereal and muffins. (my mistake for thinking it was open until 10) However, she realized my frustration as a mom traveling with four kids and allowed them to each take something from her cart. Small acts of kindness like this are appreciated.

I stayed at this hotel on Saturday, 1/13/2024 and I had an event I was attending. I noticed when we got in late that the door did not lock. My friend and I was on edge and uncomfortable the whole night/morning even with the latch on. I stated my concern that morning being it was so late and I was given a card to call the assistant manager. I spoke with a supervisor yoday, 1/16/24 and he stated it was not brought up during the stay and they could have accommodated me. At 1 am when we noticed it did not lock. He kept bringing up basically, it should have been brought up during the stay. I stated I did and it was not making sense what he was saying. He tried giving me 5000 points, but i stated i do not think i would be staying at their hotel and i asked for my money back. He told me he would connect me to his supervisor and to no avail. I called back and instead of answering the phone, he transferred me again without saying anything.

Nice hotel set back from the Potomac Mills shopping area. I was really surprised how nice the rooms were. Breakfast is what you would expect from this kind of hotel chain, so don't get your hopes up there. But if you are just looking for a nice comfortable stay in a peaceful location, this is about as good as it gets at this price range.

We arrived at night and the room was full of ants. There was left over juice in the refrigerator which means the room was not cleaned properly. The next day the bathroom basin was covered in ants. After informing the front desk about it, the room was not even cleaned the next day and there were spill marks on the counter tops. Coffee and cups were not refilled. Breakfast was not up to the mark and they would run out of food items quickly.

Accused of stealing breakfast by a young man at the front desk this morning.I was waiting for a business associate for a meeting and decided to get a bagel. I was approached and told I was not able to have breakfast until my associate arrived. I’m a Marriott lifetime platinum member with 1000+ nights stayed. I have never had someone meeting me at a Marriott be told they couldn’t have a bagel, or a cup of coffee until the person they were meeting staying at the hotel arrived. Absolutely ridiculous. Is a bagel or a cup of coffee that cost them $.50 probably less worth offending customers or their guests? No more stays at Marriott for me, will be staying at the Hilton in the future. There needs to be some Customer Service training at this hotel. I’ve been to this hotel many times, and when you walk in the door the person at the front desk doesn’t even look at you, and don’t expect a greeting. Most of the time they’re busy on their phones. Not a good look.

Has a great breakfast for free! Is located in a main area of Woodbridge. The service was great! It is near main roadway so you do get some traffic noise. That's inevitable. Has a decent workout room. Don't particularly like the sliding glass doors on the bathrooms. But that's common now in many hotels. All in all a good place to stay!

I loved the location. Near restaurants and Potomac Mall. 1.8 miles. The room was clean and the shower setup was relaxing. Shower water comes from up top and in front of you. I would definitely stay here again. The customer service was pleasant.

Great location that is close to the highway aswell as the mall. Draw back on the rooms are that they are a little dated due to not having smart TVs nor not providing any of the additional items you come to see when staying at Marriott hotels. We stayed for a week and the service was great.

Orange sky travel came with a large group and checked in before we had told the hotel we would be there and the staff was so friendly and kind. They had every room key ready for us and separated correctly by bus !! So grateful!

The hotel was very nice but they did not let me know that I had to request room service in order to get my room clean which was ok but that allowed multiple people to take up several parking spaces with their oversized vehicles which should have been parked off-site since they required more space

The room was clean at a glance but the table tops had spills on them which leads me to believe they were never wiped. I brought my own sanitizing supplies to wipe down the common areas....showers, sinks, toilet and tables. I only stay at Marriots so when in the area I would stay here again. Just make sure you have your cleaning supplies.

Everything was great, the only complaint i have is the room had ants but if you don't leave your food out you'll never see them. THE GYM IS AMAZING!!! i wish i could have stayed longer!

Very nice hotel with up to date rooms that are well thought out. The downside is minimal parking, mostly due to an oddly designed parking lot. Very difficult for larger vehicles to navigate. And hallways and corridors, especially above the first floor are extremely hot. Looked at hallway thermostats and varies from 85° to no air at all. I will add they have a very plentiful breakfast with many choices.

Everything was absolutely perfect. The rooms were large and clean and the beds were very comfortable. The building is beautiful with an indoor pool but the very best part was the staff. They were very helpful and extremely pleasant and eager to assist. Good breakfast in the morning. I will definitely stay there again when I'm in that area. I highly recommend them.

Very clean hotel. Wonderful breakfast buffet. I loved all the options. Scrambled eggs, tons of bacon, breakfast sandwiches and many more things. And lady serving and helping with breakfast on December 8 in the morning was very helpful and friendly. The best part really was the very friendly employees. Cesar was at the front desk and never failed to smile and go out of his way to make sure that I was happy. This is why I stay with Marriott! Highly recommend this hotel.

I needed a hotel at 6am after being discharged from the hospital (my home was 6 hours away & I was not gonna drive home after 7 hours at the hospital). I called 10 hotels and no one was willing to let me check in early except this hotel!! The guy at the front desk was SO generous and nice enough to let me and my boyfriend book a room early at normal rate. He is a life saver! I am forever grateful for the staff here❤️

Located just south of Washington D.C. this gem is hidden behind an array of stores. The neighborhood is questionable but the hotel goes above and beyond in service, style and cleanliness. The price is right and the comfort level is high. The rooms are well appointed, modern and very clean. Food options are within a 1/2 mile. Great option as you travel down I-95

Everything was perfect! We had a girls trip and needed adjoining rooms. I spoke to Andrew on the phone and he explained everything perfectly and was able to hold our adjoining rooms with a deposit. I also spoke to the GM, Alex over the phone and he was so helpful. I don't have one thing to complain about at this hotel. Everyone was delightful when we arrived and checked out. I will definitely book this hotel again when in the area. It's close to restaurants and shopping. We didn't get to experience the free hot breakfast because we had a late night and slept in. The pool was closed but no big deal. The rooms were nice and didn't see any imperfections. We had 2 rooms, both had 2 Queen beds plus a big sofa that pulled out into a bed. I even received a hershey bar with my name on it when checking in. It's the little things that mean the most! Thanks again to everyone for making this hotel experience so pleasant 😊

The staff was very friendly & the breakfast was great. However, even with the new renovations, the room was still a little on the dingy side. The mattress wasn’t great either. Overall, in a pinch I would stay here again.

This is probably the worst Marriott I have stayed at, I think that SpringHills are supposed to be on the top tier of Marriotts. This place was absolutely horrible. Mirrors were smeared. There was a red stain on the floor, the ceiling had bugs on it. Right over my head while I was sleeping (which is gross!) And the lamp light was cheaply repaired, it looked like e 6000 glue was holding it together. There was also a stain on the bedside lamp, which felt disgusting. This is not worth your money, earlier in the week I stayed at a different springhill which, was a lot better comfy beds, comfy pillows at that one,. However this is the complete opposite, Mattresses were horrible pillows, were horrible.

I stayed here for one night after having surgery, when I checked in I was amazed by the freshly renovated interiors from top to bottom. Unfortunately when I checked into the handicap accessible room the only remaining original item was obviously the mattress with springs poking, I immediately called down to the front desk and requested a room change. He asked me to check out # 207, and gave me keys for that room. I then checked out that #207’s bed, the entire room reeked of Marijuana and the mattress was exactly the same. I went back to my original room (#202) and phoned the front desk and said I would be staying in the original room and I told him why. He said just keep the keys for 207 and return upon checkout. The next morning I requested a late checkout until 12pm. Oddly at 10:52 a housekeeper entered my room without knocking. I was sitting naked on the bed after having just showered. I asked her three times to close the door while she argued with me about reasons she thought the room was empty. I relayed this to the surly young woman at the checkout. She argued with me and accused me of staying in a different room. Mr. Alex Lopez, if you are the manager please know I will be reaching out to you regarding this matter. If your staff does not enter the proper rooms and if your staff lies about their activities, and your housekeeping staff does not follow protocol, I do believe you owe me a refund on this property. This is not safe place for persons with disabilities.

We came up from the Virginia Beach area to see a Washington Commanders football game and stayed at this hotel. The hotel was nice and clean, the breakfast food was good and several restaurants and Walmart close by but what made our stay superb was Andrew!!!! He checked us in efficiently as well as several other guests. He was professional and courteous and very tentative to each guests. He was working alone and juggling calls, check-ins and grabbing extra sheets for guests. This kid was incredible. We checked in around 10pm and checked out 10am the next day and he was still there manning the front desk. If I had my own business I would offer him a job for more pay because he is a stellar employee for SpringHill Suites. He should be promoted ASAP! It's because of him I would stay in the this same hotel again for the next game. Sincerely, Dr. Watkins

Comfy place, the rooms were very clean and well designed. Staff was helpful and friendly, even during their busy hours, such as the free breakfast period and late nights. Affordable, comfy and convenient, cant ask for more.

Great room for family of five!! All three of my kids could have their own bed! Plus a separate toilet and sink so one can shower while another can use the bathroom. So nice with a family. Definitely recommend.

Will definitely stay again. Room was bigger than expected and used a partial wall to separate the work area from the sleep area which was visually comforting. Plenty of shower space although the toilet area was a little awkward (it was separate from the shower) but that was minor. Staff was super friendly. Breakfast had pretty good variety of hot and cold options plus a few things you could grab on the go which was super helpful. Lots of food options nearby so convenience was a plus.
