I have been going to crossfit woodbridge now since July 2021. This is my 3rd crossfit gym I have been to in ten years and the best one yet. The 5am class has been coached by complete professionals, starting with Bill and now alternating between Kathy and Jacob. My goal has always to be healthy and live young as long as possible. I came into the July 2021 class at 220 pounds, 20% body fat. Today I am 177, 7.5% body fat. Alot of it is nutrition and things like intermittent fasting, but going to the class as much as possible has been awesome. I have improved in every aspect of my fitness, from doing my first musle up to maxing the army acft. I hate doing things like warming up and stretching, but Kathy and Jacob hold me accountable and healthy. My class usually has 6 or 7 people that are amazing to be with and motivating. I also have three kids, 2, 4, and a 7 year old and have brought them on a few times to the evening classes with zero issues. If you want community, cf woodbridge also has many outside events such as competitions and socials.

Writing a comment on behalf of a friend: I struggled to find the words to write this message and wondered if I should but my daughter and her happiness is what matters most to me so here we are: I 100% understand how the gym could be stress relief-it’s stress relief for me as well. But I would be lying if I said I didn’t notice the stares both myself and my daughter were getting from her vocalizations. For those of you who don’t know, my daughter was born at 23 weeks weighing 1lb, 1oz and has been diagnosed with Autism. Some of you parents and members complained and my daughters behavior was deemed as “disruptive”. She was happily yelling “Yaaaay!” for the duration of our session as she considered this a safe space. So although I was proud to hear her using one of the words from her emerging vocabulary-I couldn’t help but feel the sadness knowing that she was silently being judged. (Ableist) I have since canceled my membership with CrossFit Woodbridge. Anywhere that my daughter is not welcome (or deemed unpleasant to be around for her disability) will not be patronized by me. As I walk away I ask that you members and parents alike understand and realize that all children are different. Some have disabilities that you cannot see. Kindness and empathy goes a long way. It does not affect you, until it does. In the future, please do your individual part to ensure this is an inclusive place and safe space for all.

My husband and I dropped in at CrossFit Woodbridge last month for two days..we really received a nice welcome and the workouts were great. They treated like family and were very helpful. Being in a town that has high summer humidity, I was a little surprised that the building was not air conditioned..I know, I really hate the humid weather and the AC would be better for my motivation to work hard. There weren't any floor fans either. But all in all, we had a great experience and will look forward to working out with them again next month. Thanks for the T-Shirts!

I thought the gym and the people were awesome! Crossfit Woodbridge was my first try at Crossfit and they really worked with both in boot camp and out on the floor with the regulars. You can scale as needed. They watch closely to ensure good form. Highly recommend. Follow me, you pirates!

My wife and I dropped in for a class on July 26th; we signed up through their online portal and that was simple. The coach, Meghan, knew were coming because of the registration and touched based with us and gave us a tour beforehand. Really impressed by the facility; they've got a huge classroom space with big garage doors and then a side space for independent lifting. Pretty much all the equipment I saw was Rogue. Coaching was great...Meghan spent a lot of time coaching form for each movement in the workout and providing feedback to everyone while the workout was going taking place. The owner stopped in to say hello to my wife and I since he knew we were dropping in, which was a neat thing to do. The rest of the members in the class were really friendly as well. Would definitely recommend this place as a drop in, or if you're looking for a box to join.

CrossFit Woodbridge is an excellent gym with excellent coaching staff. Their programming over the past few years has been top notch, going as far as to incorporate stabilization exercises, breath work, and other protocols not always seen with most CrossFit gyms. As a chiropractor who recommends functional exercise to his clients, I feel comfortable referring my clients to CFW for both general exercise as well as improving rehabilitative goals. Top notch.

CrossFit Woodbridge rocks!! They have really good hours, with lots of options for classes. The facilities have all the CrossFit gear you could want and they have additional space with olympic lifting platforms. The coaches are all friendly and very knowledgable. Dan, the head coach, is very dedicated and easy going. The community is the best! If you are an elite athlete or a beginner, everyone encourages each other through the workouts and all the workouts are challenging and effective. If you are in the Northern Virginia area, I highly recommend stopping by and checking them out.

My daughters and I are coming up on our 2 year anniversary with CFW and CrossFit Kids. I highly recommend our gym!! If you are an athlete trying to find an edge in your sport or a mom just wanting to be healthy and strong, this is the place for you. You will be welcomed and your fitness goals will be met!! Moms, don't be intimidated by the weightlifting. It is so much fun and you will be surprised how strong you can be! The programming is challenging and fun, but always scaleable for the newcomer!
