We had breakfast Sunday morning at Bob Evans on Smoketown Road in Woodbridge. It was nearly noon and we were happy to see that there was only a 5 minute wait. I know a review of Bob Evans is not ground breaking, but sometimes different locations of the same chain give different dining experiences. Such was not the case here. The reason we go to Bob Evans is consistency, in food and service. We started with coffee, as one might expect. My wife had hotcakes with Bacon, her usual order. There was 4 large hotcakes, and a good sized side of bacon. The bacon was cooked medium, and though we both prefer our bacon cooked within an inch of it's life, she enjoyed it. I had the Big Egg Breakfast, which is 3 eggs, meat and home fries. Instead of meat I got grits. It was a nice portion, and a hearty filling breakfast. The only thing I might say is that the coffee refill took a while. All in all, Bob Evans is always good, filling comfort food. We've been there many times, and will be back again.

They get a little busy with online orders, you might have to wait a little. Even with the wait, this place is awesome. The staff is cool and the food is outstanding.

Worst place ever, food took over an hour, every single order was messed up. They were not even that busy! First time at Bob Evan at last, fried chicken was burnt. They are super friendly but friendly doesn’t fix my food. If I could give them a 0 starts I will.

Ordered the honey butter biscuit breakfast. Eggs and Hash browns were bland. Asked for scrambled eggs, didn't expect it to be a bit runny in the middle. Chicken was salty. The biscuits were ok. Ordered the cinna biscuits and it didn't come out until we were about to leave and it was a partial fry or whatever in the container with it. So clearly they fry whatever together. Strawberry lemonade was also super sweet but I washed down the salty chicken that I didn't even finish with it. Looked like it was only 1 chef in the kitchen and I only saw 1 server. Also walked into the bathroom and the entire floor was covered with water because they were cleaning it. A girl brung the wet floor sign in AFTER i finished using the bathroom.

Ordered via Doordash. We ordered country fried steak with eggs, potatoes, & fresh made biscuits. Im visiting from the Virginia Beach area, which we do not have a Bob Evans out there. I found it very tasty, well proportioned, and definitely had a southern feeling, I was yearning for. A must try if you haven't! Will definitely order again!

I miss Bob Evans! I have lived in Texas for 23 years, and only get to eat Bob Evans for breakfast every couple of years. I haven't hd Bob Evans for lunch or dinner in 23 years. My Girlfriend and I visited with her son and his wife (6 year Marine in D.C., and 4 year Army Nurse in D.C.), and SHE LOVES BOB EVANS! We got back on Sunday night, and she has already said at least five times since we got back, "I want some more Bob Evans"! We got the Honey Butter Chicken and Biscuits, and the Chicken Fried Steak, and split them, and they were both DELICIOUS! Food was fantastic. Service was great. Our waitress was soooo friendly. We WILL be back to this Bob Evans in April when their new Baby arrives.

My wife and I stopped here on our way home from a Weekend in D.C. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant so we guessed it should be fine. The waitress was nice and was doing the best she could. The challenge seemed to be whomever was cooking , moved a glacier speed. They were out of some items but did not relay that to the waitress until we had waited a long time. Some food came out cold and we requested to get it heated , and that took a long time. Once we got most of what we ordered it was fine. I ordered the fried chicken breasts, and there were two but they were the smallest I have ever seen. It was an OK place to stop but wish we had gone elsewhere. We will avoid on our next trip through the area.

Great breakfast ! Service since manager change so much better than 2 years ago . But , a new problem has emerged. Signage. What do I mean you ask ? Well, if you stand under the "correct" signed reading 'checkout'...you will be directed to pay over at carryout. Why ?
