Great high end grocery store. They have a lot of items that you can’t find at a typical grocery store. On the other hand, you won’t find Lay’s potato chips or Top Ramen here. They have a great bakery, a great candy section, a well stocked deli, a well stocked produce section, a great butcher section and a great seafood section. There is a cheese counter that is over the top in the amount and variety of cheeses. There is a really good grill and ice cream counter as well. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Adam’s is a great store with a huge selection of produce. Enjoyed their atmosphere, chocolate isle that they make there, fresh produce, meat section. Great experience. Will definitely come back!

The deli woman sneezed on my turkey. She then zipped the bag up and handed it to me. If it didn't get in the bag it definitely still got on the equipment. I was so dumfounded I wasn't even able to say anything. This place has seriously gone downhill. This year I have thrown away produce and cheese many, many times for being moldy only a couple of days after buying it. In the case of the cheese the sell-by dates were WELL past when I opened them and found them moldy. The bakery is also horrible. It's the same low quality stuff you'd find at any corporate grocery chain.

So disappointed with the quality of your beef products… Have shopped for years with in all your stores. Today 12/09/23 I grilled a NY B/I strip steak @ $8.99lb. More than half was cartilage, I always thought shopping at your market was of quality… Not so much anymore.

Adam's is a wonderful store. I not only shop there for my meats, produce, seafood, and bakery items, but I love all the other departments. The greenhouse is amazing, there is a nice selection of pet and wild bird foods. Plus it's a great place to get many of my other outdoor things. I love all the events they host throughout the year and my favorite is the annual garden show!

It's a beautiful store with high end, quality products. The employees treat you like royalty. The prices can be a bit high on some things, but they're good quality. And other things are fairly priced like the fresh self-serve coffee and made to order sandwiches and buffet. The only negative is they don't really have much of a selection of organic vegetable plants to buy. They have plenty, but 99% are not organic. It's a great store to visit though. It feels like a place you go to when you're away on vacation, but it's close to home.

I always have a very good experience here! The staff is friendly and the plants look fantastic! We bought herbs and flowers from here for our little deck top garden and they are growing beautifully

I don’t mean to be petty, because I used to enjoy this place (hence 2 stars and not one) but lately Ive been starting to get turned off. -I don’t know what they put in the air in there but a good sum of the employees have a bitter undertone and really turns me off from shopping here. -The food is overpriced for the quality advertised, the food taste like factory, (real organic eaters know what I mean). Not a bad place if you have to settle for proximity, but there are better stores around, especially ones that dont feel so hostile. Dont know if there is new management, but it’s definitely not the same place it used to be.

I love this supermarket. The nursery is amazing, with an extremely knowledgeable staff. The ☕station is really good. I particularly love the cheese samples. The selection of items is extensive and I can spend hours here. These pictures do not give it justice.

Adams has always been a great store but I was very disappointed today when I wanted to buy some soup. I did purchase the Hungarian mushroom soup even though I noticed how watered down it was. It was so watered down that it had no flavor! I asked the worker why it was so watery and she said that’s the way they have been coming. I really hope they rectify this situation because their soups have always been so hearty and delicious

Today they had their flower garden show and it was beautiful they also had a band there playing they gave everyone a free Marigold flower and then I went in to shop their produce which I love strawberries were $1.99 a carton that was a good deal they come from Florida yummy

Expensive but when you look at the ingredients of Adams brand products, you find that they are worse for you than other cheaper off-the-shelf competitors. The quality is bad. Unless you're looking for an extensive meat or cheese selection, you might be disappointed. They don't even have that many organic things. This place flaunts itself as a community grocery store but they are ripping off the locals community who loves the Adam's brand. In a pinch come here but generally, the Stop and Shop down the street is as good and cheaper. I won't be surprised if a Trader Joe's or Whole Foods replaces this one day. It's unfortunate because I live close and we thought Adam's was a replacement for those but it's not even close. 🫤 Also FYI: When people are inside without masks, they do not say a word about it. It's kind of frustrating when you decide to follow the rules and someone else doesn't.

Who wouldn't love this place? The freshest produce and meats anywhere, and a bakery on site with aromas that entice. They have a beautiful gift shop and a garden center. Best of all, the prices are no higher than at the local grocery stores. Why shop anywhere else?

Adams is a great store, this location as well as the one in Wappingers. Clean with excellent service. A little pricier than typical grocery stores but worth the extra cost.

Lovely store. Fresh produce was available which was nice considering most other supermarkets now don't have very happy looking fruits and vegetables. Flower selection and plants beautiful. Really enjoy their Cafe as well. Highly recommend.

I am from out of state and visited Adams Fairacre Farms (Poughkeepsie) on a busy Sunday midday to pick up some orders for a graduation party. Though a mistake was made on our side, the deli and catering staff went above and beyond to help us get our order. I was impressed by the quality of the food we picked up and by the way all the staff handled our mixup with professionalism and friendliness. Particular shoutouts to Chris, Matt, the catering specialist, and Robert. Appreciation also to Darius and the sushi chef for checking on us to make sure we had been helped. The floral department and customer service were also helpful. The staff of Adams Fairacre Farm left me with a very positive impression of your store and your area.

Yesterday we visited Adams, where we always enjoy ourselves. However, this time was above and beyond. Upon checking out a cashier known as Dietrich B made our day. He was attentive, he was kind, he was sure to make certain that we had everything we needed, and even inquired about the day we sere having and it all was genuine. Heck, he even complimented my jacket, and he was sincere. This is what great custoner service is all about, it made our moment, and even our day. Bravo Dietrich!

I love this store! Meat department is hands down the best in the area that I've found, produce is always fresh, and best of all I LOVE their bakery (probably too much 😋 😁) especially for their mini cream puffs... OMG they are wonderful 😋😋😋

Fresh, delicious, many options. From regular ingredients and groceries for your life, there’s also ready-made food everything from gluten-free, sushi, chicken, soups, salads, and more prepared meals. The produce section is always bright, clean and fresh. The bakery is amazing. The cheese counter is my favorite spot. In the garden area for all your garden needs another things you didn’t know you needed. Are also there. Great unique gifts especially for those who don’t know what to get something always to be found.

The florists are phenomenal. Michelle in particular is great. They’ll get you anything. It’s extremely worth it! The roses last for 3-4 weeks. I got 1,000 roses for my wife on our wedding day and Adams fulfilled the need quickly and with my then, fiancée, dropped off the 1,000 roses on our wedding day at her house. They will have our loyalty—as they have our late Nana’s—forever.

There's so much unique and great foods here. Gosh if I was in the area I would shop here all the time just trying out new things. Gosh it was amazing being able to go there and see everything and pick up a few things.

Have been going to Adams for a long time and has a great selection of produce, fish and meats. Employees are very friendly and helpful.

I have been shopping at Adams Fairacre Farms for over 35 years. It is the best place to shop for fresh produce and quality meats and seafood in Dutchess County. Knowledgeable, courteous staff, great weekly specials, delicious bakery, cheese and coffee shops right on site.

Food and service is always exceptional. As a veteran and a Police officer of 32 years I truly appreciate the large american flag at the south exit. The one issue I had, was that the smaller flag on the east side exit is inverted. The field of blue needs to be on the left side. Thank you and Happy fourth of July.

Recently I ordered a Wedding cake! Cake tasted amazing and the decoration was exactly as I asked! They did a beautiful job! I am very pleased with the outcome! I highly recommend this place! Thanks to K and her team at Dutchess Turnpike!

Fantastic. Great everything. The workers are so polite and helpful. Fresh everything. Baked goods, cooked foods, gardening stuff, pet things, you name it, Adam's has it. Don't forget to get something to eat and sit outside or indoor dining Have fun and shop. Something for the entire family.

I went today to pick up my "Fresh" turkey that I ordered, I was surprised that is was packaged in a bag, just like a Butterball Turkey. I even believe it was partially frozen..I typically go to a local butcher and that turkey is fresh. I feel like it was misleading. I am not happy with it, but I had to purchase it since it was the day before Thanksgiving.

Everything I order, whether flowers, fruit baskets, platters or desserts, they are just phenomenal... Top quality, beautifully wrapped, delivered as requested... I live in NC, but can count on Adams to send the perfect things to my family in Poughkeepsie every time. Love Adams, grew up with this store, wish there was one in Raleigh too!

Again it's difficult to gain 5 stars fr me. Adams is the only place to purchase a full selection of produce Their array of specialty food. Cheezes etc. Is wonderful. Garden center a delight. Down graded because of high prices on staple foods and high price of plants in garden center. Personal concerned and helpful.
