Hello All , I'll just simply mention the good and the bad experience I had at this hospital while being treated here recently. Why the hospital is good? The nursing staff is over the top excellent! They care from their heart literally. Plus the right attitude with everything possible! The food at the hospital was quite nice too. Room & Washroom hygiene standards and maintenance are very well taken care of as well. Overall the stay and the treatment was pleasant. I'd like to specially mention that Dr. Hegde the anaesthetic doctor was so friendly and informative and makes you feel really relaxed (literally) with his humble approach! God bless that good man. What I feel the hospital is bad or going wrong at some places? Well, to start with the reception staff! Unfortunately I just got a very bad vibe from them. Not very informative and clear about the things they say. A little bit of their attitude as well was not very pleasing. Now coming to the most annoying part if you're going for a consultation over here just be aware that every solution to your problem is surgery. They want to push you to surgery so the hospital can earn! They are not going to suggest you oral medicine treatment for sure! Now that's what I experienced! I was there for a gall bladder stone surgery for which I had to undergo a surgery but I also had a 4.5MM kidney stone which I do feel and on second opinion as well came to know that it can be flushed down through meds but the assistant doc literally forced me at least thrice! Which clearly gave me the indication that this lady just wants to push me through this op to earn extra cash. And mind you it's an expensive procedure of close to 1.4 Lakhs which as compared to other hospitals is far too much! Hence this is something I really disliked! The Urologist as well was very less interested in suggesting medicines and was more keen on surgery. I had to literally ask him purposely to suggest some meds! A very big let down! Also I had booked for a sharing room and made it pretty clear but the Insurance staff at the hospital put me in the deluxe room! And on clearing that I had booked a sharing they are like dont worry it's in your insurance only! So basically a trick to earn extra money. Super sad! And after my surgery I had gone for the stitch removal. Literally 1 stitch and they charged another 3K for that. I didn't understand the cost and why but had to pay. So I think the way this hospital operates in earning extra cash by making irrational charges is really terrible and I do feel cheated at some places in this hospital. The management staff is quite cunning when it comes to that. And the force of pushing you for surgery would be the most terrible points for this hospital.

Treatment is good, but people at the billing desk and other admin related departments are not at all co-ordinated. It takes more time than anywhere to get discharge. People simply shred their responsibilities off their shoulders on someone else, and nobody has any idea about the current status in documentation till there are at least 20 follow ups. Getting admitted is very easy however to step out is a tough experience.

On 18/5/2020. At 3Am morning my wife had a severe pain of kidney stone I rushed him to the hospital though my wife is having a 5 year's record of rg stone and had gone for major operations also there itself on emergency patients for a single pain killer injection costing rs 20/30 they charge me 1830 rs A single pain killer injection for kidney stone is it worth I argue them the staff said this are emergency charges please see the situation the time circumstances be a doctor not a devil save life don't take it it's a patient not a customer management please see to it what you are the mirror will show you

Very bad experiance have Dr consultant appointment for Cold bladder fix on 3 pm Dr Not Present until 5 pm paitent still waiting....and even call attende not inform For Rescheduled timing at last not even informing in recption sitting area. What kind of Staff are these people have?

I would like to share own experience I feel that the hospital is doing on the focus of hygiene, everything need and clean. Doctors are also good. And they treat well after the operation. The process of the admission is easy and the staffs is also very helpful. I have seen the real view of the staffs. i would definitely recommend it to my friends and relatives.

Great doctors and good staff alongwith best hygienic conditions, clean toilets and good food. Our Dr Amit Kolekar was best and he provides the best treatment to us.Probably the best hospital in entire Mumbai.

Every place has its pros and cons.. The review is provided after having a personal go through experience with a patient of mine and a relative 1.As far as the services and medical intervention is concerned you cannot doubt about the quality and services that are provided 2.The options for the urological intervention, Are available all in one place 3. As far as the billing and money is concerned, its all the matter of personal affordability and not the hospital's drawback, people endup paying more for the same procedure jst by looking at the lavish interiors of the hospital 4. The lag and lacunas of billing were also faced by me, not because of the hospital but due to the lag in the processing of my patients claim.. Post approval we were out in a hour or so... 5.As far as the quality of overall experience is concerned i would suggest it to be fairly good...as an hospital and not, If u r expecting a picnic or a holiday plan... 6.And as for the stars... There's always a room for the betterment... Hoping for a much better experience in the future...

Sorry to say but reseption staff so unqualifiled. Not for good services so many confusion. No required rate details. Revisiting fees again so high no any chart deatils. So bad service but hospital staff and doctor all well and good.

The staff of SBS hospital at andheri west was so cooperative and especially Manali who did a fabulous job by going out of her way and helping me and my wife to get their doses.. She needs to be promoted an asset to the hospital... Thank you so much Manali once again..

All staff of Hospital is very helpful and speak politely and given all information regarding for covidsheild do and don'ts thanks for your co operation.

Never trust them in money factor be very clear how much they are going to charge they give waranty butvif things are not done properly they ask u to do it again and will also charge for that about 1lakh 28000 as of it comes from trees They made me pay so much extra amount which os a total fraud and it was in guarantee result still i i pa so much extra to them after requesting so much thats its ur mistake and should not charge for that but still they dint agree on this matter ....and i iave take some loan from outside and i jave to pay them ...... They are fraud
