WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I was admitted to PD Hinduja Hospital (Khar) for severe lower back pain after consultation with the primary orthopaedic surgeon. I'd like to bring to notice several discrepancies and hidden charges levied by the hospital during our stay. This is after having stayed in the hospital for 36 hours with ZERO improvement in my physical health. • Injections were given at 5:00am (assuming the patient is asleep) and we were charged for twice as many injections. • A very expensive MRI with additional reports was done without consulting the patient. When we asked what the additional Screening was for, literally nobody had any answers. • We were charged for 100 gloves for 36 hours of stay, a thermometer we did not even see, random things were added in the bill & additional OTC medicines. • Breakfast was kept at 7am without informing the patient or guest about it. No provisions for re-heating the food were made. They checked us in at 1/2 am. We woke up at 9! • We were charged room rent for a delay made by the management team. • I'm yet to see physical MRI reports because apparently they've been couriered and the delay is from the courier service. MRI was done at Hinduja Mahim. • When I checked in, a patient literally next to me was waiting since morning to be checked out, but the staff/management delayed everything and he had to pay for their delay. He told me this might happen with me, and guess what.. it did! Hinduja Hospital, or most hospitals around us run through these hidden charges. It's extremely important we call this out and ensure a transparent healthcare system. If you're planning to get admitted at Hinduja, I'd suggest there are many better Hospitals, please don't step inside this hospital!

Wonderful nurses and anesthesiologists! The food was excellent, and I received exceptional care at this hospital. Coming from out of the country, it is always a somewhat scary experience, but the customer service was top notch, and all the persons with whom I interacted worked to make sure I understood them and could be an active participant in my care. I would highly recommend Hinduju Healthcare Khar Surgical.

Absolutely pathetic experience. My mother got her knee replacement surgery done here. We came in with the reputation of the doctor Nilen Shah. Surgery done but still waiting for the discharge. They have started the formalities at 11:00 AM. It's 8:00 PM in the evening I'm still waiting to get my mother. discharged. The billing and the TPA staff lacks courtesy and empathy. I'm never coming back to this pathetic place again. They are absolutely spoiling the name of a reputed hospital with callous nature and pathetic customer experience.

I delivered my first child here, my experience was beautiful. Nurses and staff really took care of me. There was a dietician to take care of what my body need to eat just after birthing.rooms are very nice and clean. They also arranged a candle light dinner in our room for me and my husband to celebrate us being parents. That was Cherry on cake.

RIP OFF ! Highly Overpriced. There are better hospitals with more qualified & efficient doctors that provide better service at reasonable & affordable rates. I do not recommend

I was experiencing severe knee pain(or swelling) after a strenuous trip which had become unbearable after a point. I decided to visit Dr Allahbadia's clinic and I can personally recommend him as he was one of the most professional and efficient doctors I've met.

Had gobe to visit Dr.Vivek Allahabadia. Goid hospital which is neatly maintained....staff is also ok.. Only issue is parking and heavy traffic in the evening

I visited this place for enquiry about Maternity & Nursing, the staff made me sit for wait for 30 mins & there was nobody to attend the patient. I checked at the reception twice to ask someone to attend us but the reception staff was busy chit chatting & having Gala time. Such a Reknowned name like Hinduja but services are Pathetic.

Doctors are good. Looks like a 4 star hotel but very disorganised. It’s a torture staying here from over 2 days. Food service and quality is poor. No one listen to issues.

I had a terrible experience at Hinduja Healthcare yesterday May 24th, 2019. I was having a pain in my tailbone for more than three days due to which I was not able to sleep, walk or sit properly. I reached there at 12am hence I was seen by an RMO Dr Shubhangi Sanap who took my issue really lightly. This kind of casual behavior is not acceptable at a hospital like Hinduja Healthcare. If someone is visiting the hospital at midnight, it would have been an unavoidable emergency and not a "light situation". It was an unavoidable pain. The RMO Dr Shubhangi Sanap, was very unprofessional and further on, sleeping despite knowing that a patient was coming in. I wouldn't recommend this hospital to other people due to the casual behavior they have been holding up at this place. A really terrible experience. I am not visiting that place again..!

Extreme nuisance to wait to get connected to reception!!! The number on maps is incorrect too. It took 5 attempts of 5+ mins to get connected. N what I get to know is the receptionist doesnt know marathi! I want to check on dr amdekar and seek his appointment. But no luck with that whatsoever!!!

Be prepared to empty your pockets and feed these guns/ thugs sitting out there. They take advantage of the situation you are in. I got admitted on 7th Mar 2022. I am writing this review on 9th Mar, midway between my projected stay at the hospital. So far, i am very happpy with everone I have met here; be it front desk ward serve staff,nursing staff doctores, xray tecnician etc. They are all very corteous, pleasnt, and sensive to patient' needs. So far my stay has been very pleasnt. Kudos to the training progrmmes and management of the hospital.

My dad was recently operated at Hinduja khar. The hospital is clean and neat. The doctors, nurses, attendants are all very attentive, helpful and caring. Visits are done on time, meals are as per your dietary requirements. The customer care dept visits to check if everything is in order. I met this young and talented doctor for my mom's knee problem. He provided an accurate diagnosis and not only treated her, but also motivated her to follow some exercises and walking, which is very important. Dr. Allahbadia is a gem of a person, always ready to help. My granny is 92yrs old and she had a fall, on just one request doctor came for an home visit and diagnosed her late night. She got diagnosed of hip fracture and was operated for the same. I had no doubts and complete faith and withing 2days she started walking comfortably and doing her daily chores. Thank you Doctor for being there

Not that I'd wish a hospital stint on anyone, but if they did have to cross paths with a hospital couldn't do any better than a Hinduja! Warm attentive knowledgeable staff, comfortable hotel room like designs with lovely lounge seats by the windows... went there for an appendectomy without knowing any doctor who knew a doctor there and was a wonderful experience end to end. Even the OPD where I did my preliminary examinations had excellent friendly staff. Might be a little more on the pocket but well worth the peace of mind... I was eligible for a single room delux but they bumped me up to a premium delux till the delux was available and was moved there post my surgery. All smoothly and graciously done. Hat's of the management who makes such guestures possible.

Visited the OPD facility. The staff is very helpful. The valet parking is a great help. Very comfortable ambience. Over all a very good experience.

Dr. Subash almost killed my wife. I recommend everyone not to use this Dr. He not only caused my wife to collapse, he lies to cover his mistakes. Good luck with this doctor is you shall get the chance. If you do unfortunately get Dr. Subash say your prayers. I wish my experience on no one. 1 of 5 staff actually cared. I could list so many concerns and issues I had with our visit. Double charged. Made up medicine charges. Etc. Be cautious and I thought hospitals were supposed to care for people.

Unethical service. Worst than government hospitals they don't even care about patients they just need your money.

Worst staff at the billing counter/cashier including the manager no manners to talk to the patient and their family. Their job is chit chatting cracking jokes with each other and be busy in their own world. The people working at the cash counter and billing are ruining the image of the hospital. These cashier think they are more important than the doctors. Don't know why such people are hired and paid to malign the image of the hospital Better to visit the Mahim branch.

Very bad experience. Shortage of doctors , same doctor does opd for health package and runs away for emergencies keeping opd patients waiting..Payments have been collected in advance so patient have no choice but to keep waiting till the tests are done.

Horrible hospital, all cheats. Just want to make money. I cut my finger and their doctors stitched up my nerves when I went to the emergency. After 3 dressings , I am in huge pain and the doctor tells me that I need to be operated and stay over night where they want me to swipe 70000 Rs. I go and get a second opinion and realise that they have put a stitch on my nerve and after redoing the stitches the wound has healed. Pathetic hospital and trying to fleece patients. Please dont go to this hospital ever.

Went for vaccination today and the experience was wonderful. The staff is so well trained that they make the whole process flawless and stress free. I would like to mention the name of Ms.veena who actively helped us during our time there and we were in and out within 30mins with our certificates in our hand.kudos to the staff and hospital.

Got both my doses of Covishield at PD Hinduja Hospital Khar. Their entire approach was so systematic and organized. Every step of the vaccine process from the time you reach the hospital till you leave was so smooth and careful and most importantly keeping all Covid led protocols in mind. The staff at every level was so helpful and well meaning and guided me with whatever queries I had. Special thanks and big shout out to Ms Veena Rane for being the force of nature she is and helping me through the entire experience. Incredible all the way!

Nurses are extremely good...dietitian was accommodating all our food requests....very clean and hygienically maintained....last but not least the best doctors are associated with them....

We came in for a minor surgery for my mother. Hinduja has always had a stellar reputation, but being in Khar made it so much more convenient for folks living in the suburbs. Whenever I needed to get out I could walk out and get dinner at any of the excellent restaurants down the street . The staff are without exception compassionate and thoughtful. From my PTSD with other hospitals I expected to be treated brusquely around finances. Not here. Not only did they insist we move to the room first and pay later, they patiently waited for a day while I worked out some transfer snafu. That by itself set the tone for the rest of the stay. The brothers, sisters, aides, nutritionist, security, even the food staff are friendly without exception leaving you to be fully present with your family. Finally, the doctors themselves are the kind you’d like to be friends with. Relatable, transparent, intelligent and confident. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Have had a terrible experience in the discharge formalities at Hinduja Khar hospital. The staff was unable to print a discharge card for an hour. 5 nurses along with a doctor and IT help took a whole hour to print a discharge card, was successfully done after they got on to a video call with an employee. This was at 10pm in the night due to which I had to spend a whole night at the hospital for a day care surgery. Dr. Gaurav Savant (general surgeon) was callous and unprofessional. It’s appalling that a hospital of such high repute can cause such discomfort to their patient.

Would not recommend treatment here at all. They have sent a blood test report that was so incorrect & misleading that my doc thought I would need to be on daily medication for the rest of my life (I’m in my 30’s). Suspecting that the report was not accurate, I did another series of blood tests with another lab, only to find all my readings are totally normal. Meanwhile I had already started medication for a problem I don’t have. Out of the many blood tests I did, they have still not sent us the reports for 2 of them. Tests were done 4+ days ago while I was seen in the emergency room here by my doctor, and we were told we’d receive all reports in less than 24 hours. No one has called us or followed up. The prices are seriously high, we paid 30k for incorrect, incomplete blood test reports that are not reliable at all. There are far better hospitals in Mumbai.

I was recently operated at this hospital and it couldn’t have gone any better. It's was amazing experience. Excellent customer service and the friendliest nurses and staff. The panel of Doctors are cordial, warm and put you at ease all throughout your stay. Right from admission to discharge, I was taken care of immensely and with great love. The staff in all departments at P.D. Hinduja Hospital-Khar are really good and helpful. The nursing staff is very approachable and prompt. We had an amazing experience at Hinduja during the delivery of our twins. The staff was extremely helpful - all of them, especially the super warm nursing staff. But must call out the resident doctors, housekeeping staff and customer care team as well. Very well managed facilities.

Though the upkeep are excellent but lot of lethargic staffs. Even after completing all formalities like making final payment , still waiting for more than 30 mins for the ward doctor to come and handover the medical file. They are shortage of staff in every floor. Doctor released at 10AM and now it's 12.30, still waiting after making full and final payment at 11.30. Just to add that they charge for Doctors visit even when the Doctor doesn't make visit. I have proof and ready to produce . Also they do not provide any mechanism to contact for grievance redressal. Only some mechanical reply shall come. You can not contact there. Patient room no 810 , date of discharge 18.11.23. Had similar experience today on 28.12.23., when my daughter was brought for day care centre for some intravenous injection, they could not start the same even after two hours of admission. This is a really nice and genuine hospital. I come here to attend CMEs. Location of this hospital is little odd. It's among residential apartments. Sometimes it's difficult to find and park your vehicle there. Recommended hospital for any kind of surgeries.

In this context I would like you to put on record the excellent service and care provided by the entire staff right from the time of admission at 7am till the time of discharge at 6.30 pm. Here I would like to mention the name of one of your staff members Mr Prashant C C E , HSS . who though not official duty made himself available at 7am at the time of our arrival to hospital and saw to it that everything was in order and left only after we settled down in our room on first floor. We really appreciated this good gesture which we hardly see these days in present times. There are doctors and then there are DOCTORS. Both definitely sounds the same but there’s a whole lot of difference when it comes to being one. I can never thank you’ll enough for being such an exceptional doctors and wonderful personalities. Dr. Haresh Mehta, Dr. Jatin Kothari and Dr Kayan S, they all are so very receptive and pro-active in both communication and their actions. The kindness and consideration we received from every member of staff who treated my mother was exceptional. It helped a very difficult time be more bearable. One of the best hospitals I have ever been to. Everything is so we'll planned. My wife underwent a spine operation here. The Dr Who operated Dr Vinod Agarwal is an excellent Surgeon. The whole team of Doctors, the anesthesiologist, the resident orthopedic surgeon, the physiotherapist and the staff including the nurses, the Maushis and the x-ray staff were kind helpful and caring. The resident dieticians came and inquired about the likes and dislikes of the patient. Inspite of the money charged for these services we will always be indebted to these people for their invaluable services. A big Thank you to Dr Vinod Agarwal and the Hinduja Khar team

We had a great experience with Dr Mahesh Singh and his team when my mom underwent her bypass at Hinduja-Khar Cardiology recently. Dr Singh is already a well known and accomplished surgeon and his approach has been very professional & thorough and he builds ease and confidence in the patient and their families. The post op care at the hospital is also A+ . Thank you and congratulations on running an excellent practice

chors! they have a checkout of 11 and try to delay things till nearly 11:15 following which their system generates a bill for the next day too as a relieving gift / bribe. They refused to acknowledge a 4 day IMPS payment and hence i paid them extra and had to leave

Worst hospital ever. Got an OPD appointment for a urologist, the doctor came late and then left after 30 mins for an emergency. The hospital charged us 1750 for 15 min appointment and then told us to wait as the doctor will be back in a while .later they called and asked us to come back another day or take refund.they only refunded 1500 back as 250 is for registration and can be used for the next visit but I don't want to go here again ever. So for the mistake of the doctor and hospital I have to pay.

They made our experience alot easier and were always helpful when ever required .

The rating is only for the receptionist who sits at OPD building (I missed noting down her name because I was in an emergency) Absolutely lack of manners, rude and insensitive towards patients.She should understand that nobody visits a hospital for roaming. I'm surprised how such a person can be made to sit at the reception. We had mistakenly come to the khar hinduja hospital instead of going to PD hinduja at Mahim. When we mentioned about our appointment and the Dr's name and the department, she was very insensitive and treated us like fools who didn't know the place where we had to go. If we were aware about the different Hinduja hospital location we would obviously not have ended up in the wrong place. Request to the management to treat some hospitality and mannerism to their employees sitting at the reception.

I will recommend this hospital to my friends and relatives for treatment, every staff is excilent and treatment is up to the mark.

Dear management, I came today for consultation at around 2100 hrs. Casualty doc checked and gave some list of medicine. I went to the admin and completed the registration formalities. Soon after that I asked her for the pharmacy and she said its closed, I have to get it from outside. Are you seriously kidding me??? Its a hospital and yiu are supposed to have 24x7 pharmacy service. Such a shame it is....

Detailed Reveiw by a patient, Who just paid 6Lacs for a surgery. Review on 10 Points Parameter. 1) Doctor :- Very Good. "9/10" 2) Hospital reception & billing staff - Very Rude, Blunt & have Zero sense on how to behave with a patient. They are only and purely focussed on their billing,else you are a "Pure Garbage" & a Headche for them and they treat you in very same manner. "0/10" 3) Food & Drinks :- Even attendent can't get his food or even Water Bottle from outside & he/she has to buy a smallest size Sandwich for 150/- , an ever seen Smallest portion For 250/-, Bread Jam for 75/- , Smallest Portion Poha for 100/- etc...... Hope any one can relate what sort of "BUSINESS" they are running , It's No where can be related with something called "NOBLE PROFESSION". 2/10 4) Facility :- This 7* Payment charging hospital has just got only 2 AC remotes at one floor and if patient is feeling cold/hot due to temperature then staff has to search for these remotes, And you have paid for this hospital in Lacs for couple of days. Attendent has to sleep on the floor , with just one Sheet & No Blanket. They Bluntly refuse. Worse Worse Worse, Behavior ever seen in a Private Hospital . So Except clean premise, there is nothing which can make you feel good. Everything else make you feel Dead . 2/10 5) Comfort :- ZERO Comfort for patient , attendent & visitor. Staff of Hinduja, make everyone feel like a criminal. Just an example, I had indigestion problem and thought to go downstairs by stairs and this staff literally warned me that I am not allowed by stairs. It can be only used in case of Fire ( Really )???..... Wish I could give minus rating, called the concerned department for pulmonary function test as it was prescribed by their Pulmonologist as part of annual lung assessment. I was bluntly denied by the some mannerless person in the pulmonary department stating doctor advised first consult him and then do the test? I mean what? We have been consulting their Pulmonologist once in a year with latest CT scan and PFT reports. It is insane to consult first without a PFT report and wait for a month more to get the appointment and consult again. I

Excellent experience! In terms of patient care, right from panel of doctors, to nurses to the after care support we got was impeccable. Even the pricess for admission, billing, discharge was done very efficiently with minimal waiting time.

Very very bad service. The billing department really needs to work on their politeness, no update on patient status. The nurses informed that a call back would b made within 30 min to confirm the time for the test however till i reached vout to them they did not bother to confirm.

I was recently operated at this hospital and it couldn’t have gone any better. Excellent customer service and the friendliest nurses and staff. The panel of Doctors are cordial, warm and put you at ease all throughout your stay. Right from check in to check out, I was taken care of immensely and with great love. It is very nice hospital to get all your treatment done. Rooms are very clean, especially washroom. Staff extremely courteous and helpful (Nurse and Ward boy) Efficient housekeeping staff. Hospital security is very tight. You need to wear a mask inside the hospital in case you forgot to carry a mask hospital provides the same. A very big thank you to the hospital for taking care of me. Especially Dr. Tejas Dharia.. Also would like to thank Dr. Christine, the anaesthesiologist. She has very light hands while administering the anaesthesia making it a painless procedure. In case you are getting treated in this hospital, she is the anaesthesiologist you would like to have, thank you doctor. The meals provided are excellent, thanks to the dietician.

It's was amazing experience. The total working staff from entrance to sr. Level were good gesturing positive vibes n supporting. Specially the utility staff caring communications n supporting to response in time frame. Even the food served as well as pantry food was of great taste n worth. Thanks for great experience during our visit for gallbladder operation. Stay comfortable arrangements.

My mom got admitted for the second time due to her knee replacement. She was very keen that she should be again admitted in the 1st floor only. We are very much pleased and satisfied by the services and behaviour of the nursing staff of the 1st floor. They always acknowledge with smile which is a big thing for the patient. Everything is very good the desk staff, doctors, nurses and cleaners all are so helpful. Thanks. The food is really really bad and there is no time management. Patients food doesn't mean it has to be tasteless.The pantry staff is not clean ans the room smells when they enter. Hope the management takes action.

Doctors were very patient and calm in listening to patients and handling all issues Dr Ravi my surgeon was so nice calm and provided ans to my questions calmly ….The service was very nice , sisters and Maushi were very good and so caring , during my pain all took motherly care of me … would really recommend to treat urself in this hospital they are thorough professional , quick discharge and proper guidance was given

Hello! My mother was admitted at PD. Hinduja Khar for Laproscopic surgery for 5 days. We were staying at second floor so the nurses and maids on that floor took care of my mother so well and the moment we called for them they were there to help us out, they were punctual, courteous and so well trained at doing their jobs. The pantry staff, dietician, doctors and their assistants and the staff members at the reception made sure that our stay there was comfortable and great during the difficult moments. Their hospitality and hygiene is at par. They treated and looked after my mother like their own family member. So, thanks to the Hinduja Team for taking good care of my mother :))

We experienced exceptional maternity care at Hinduja Khar Hospital with a dedicated team of thorough professionals. Doctors, nurses and helpers (mausis) all of them provided us a safe and comfortable environment which made it easy for us to deal with our situation. We were really happy with the quality of our room and the overall cleanliness/ maintenance of the hospital. I will always be thankful to the entire staff at NICU where the postnatal care was par excellence. We always felt our baby was in a safe place and in good hands of Dr. Ravindra Chittal. The entire group of sisters/helpers -Manisha, Deepali, Shubhangi, Anupama, Vaishali, Sonali, Shweta, Yogita, Pinky, Gargi, Rushika - whom we would speak to daily were always available for us and kind enough to all our queries with a smiling face.

One of the worst hospital in india.They treat patients like guinea pig for experiment and keep increasing your billing.It will be your one of life biggest mistake if you admit your loved one's. They were supposed to inform insurance company for next day operation which they didn't and asked for money early morning on sunday.The operation didn't happened and they charged doctor fees and everything. Whole staff is pathetic.The money was important than patient operation. Please don't make a mistake what I have done. They said to pay 3.5 out of 5 lac and have waived off the amount 1.5 lac during discharge. I was following up for the money with insurance co. and company has transfer to hospital.Hospital said we have not given you discount and that 1.5 lac belongs to us.This is how they trick you.I lost my dad in Jan 2023 because we got out of funds and needed to admit in charitable.They kept my dad as hostage for 3 days for non-payment of fees.Also check all hidden clause or critical illness. Their TPA desk are useless, inspite of giving all documents they didn't know there was capping and we ended up paying 3.5 lac from out own pocket.

Ankush at TPA desk was very helpful and patient in giving information about costing and the entire procedure for admission. Dr. Shiraz Vazifdar and Dr.Sharmeen Vazifdar were very professional and composed. All nursing staff were extremely competent and made us feel at home.

Came for a comprehensive health check up, quite a pricey one that too. Had a horrible experience. Was moving from one floor to the other. Nothing planned well. The doctors are not interested. The lady who did my ecg looked like she was pulled up from her sleep. The breakfast was horrible. The sonography room was shared by male and female doctors and they didn’t give any space or respect for patients privacy. I had to do my breast sonography while the male doctor had his back towards me and was reading news on the computer. The X-ray room has a shoddy changing room with torn gowns for changing, I don’t know if they reuse the same gown for all patients. All in all I would never advice anyone to come here for any health check ups

I was admitted for a surgery under Dr Rishma Pai. The doctors and the entire nursing staff on the 8th floor were extremely co operative as well as kind and patient. All facilities were top notch and procedures were meticulously followed. The rooms were spacious and well equipped with regular cleaning and housekeeping.The food was unlike hospital food as well and the quality and quantity both were enough for atleast two people to eat. Everything went off extremely smoothly. Truly grateful for the entire team for such care throughout.

Words cannot express the gratitude my husband Neil and I have for the exceptional care we received at PD Hinduja Hospital Khar during the delivery of our baby. The facility was pristine, and the environment was calm and reassuring, which was incredibly comforting during such a significant moment in our lives. Our Gynaecologist Dr. Ashwini Nabar who through these 9 months has guided us and been super supportive, also made the delivery part really smooth. Dr. Deepak Ugra, our Pedestrian from the moment our baby was born has been nothing but comforting and positive. The postnatal care provided was exemplary too. The nurses (Miitali, Sayali, Hemangi and others) assisted us with breastfeeding, offered valuable advice on newborn care, and ensured that we felt confident before leaving the hospital. The lactation consultants Dr. Mugdha was also helpful and made a significant difference in our early breastfeeding journey. Overall, our experience at PD Hinduja Hospital Khar was nothing short of exceptional. We are profoundly grateful for the outstanding level of care we received and would wholeheartedly recommend this hospital to any expectant parent.
