I had kept my father Arun Palkhiwale at Sahabhav center 2 The staff was well trained, professional and very good in taking care of my father. Service always with a smile The quality and taste of food served was excellent. The games and activities conducted really helped to cheer up him The administration staff was also very cooperative It is like a second home to the elderly persons. They tend to forget their home. The medical care and attention was better than an hospital The cleanliness and ambiance is very nice and lively. I think I made the correct decision by bringing my father at Sahabhav. I could see the care, compassion, cleanliness and recovery (physical and psychological) in my father in just one month. Thank U for all Ur help and Cooperation extended to me and to my father by team Sahabhav.

My sister, Babli today,58 years old is a down syndrome child. Till about a few years ago she was very well taken care of by our mother, but unfortunately she passed away 6 years ago leaving me and my brothers worried about her future. Everyone decided to keep her for a few months, and then send her to the next brothers house which was often interstate. Slowly but gradually it started creating a negative impact on her physical and mental health and as she couldn't speak well she couldn't express what was happening to her which led to a form of aggression in her. That is when I decided it is enough with her life and me, my daughter and my nieces got on to searching an old age /palliative care for her where she would be taken care of individually and would not need to be dependent on any family member. After months of searching around the country, I finally landed upon Sahabhaav and trust me I cannot thank God more for showing me the way to this place. At first I was very scared if it was the right thing to do, a down syndrome person, who has lived only with her mother and with no other person, will she be able to adjust , will she be taken care of etc etc. We started the search by getting in touch with Dr Mini Panicker who is the founder, and she is so thorough with her knowledge of things,it's amazing to see. When she says she will take you under her wings, trust me, she will. She was very confident that she and her staff will be able to manage Babli, we arranged a few video calls to help her understand everything and she seemed so calm and confident, it really seemed god sent. Then we stepped into Sahabhaav to see the place in Andheri, I hadn't seen a more better managed geriatirc care centre than theirs. We met Amee Shah there, one of the sweetest and nicest people. She gave us confidence that Babli is in safe and happy hands. The centre had people needing geriatric care and the staff was so well trained and caring. There were so many activites happening to occupy everyone, the atmosphere was so lively and full of joy. Yes, this seemed the correct choice I said to myself and took the plunge  to send Babli to Sahabhaav. Dr Mini, Amee and the staff took Babli under their wings, trust me. She was given one 24 hour caretaker (hand picked by the team), to assist Babli with daily activites, food served at Sahabhaav was great and Babli took an instant liking to the place, food , people. She just has always wanted undivided attention and a place for herself and Sahabhaav gave her that.  I must say they take care of her daily activites so well, that she has literally forgotten her other family members and she has found a new family for herself. Babli sings, dances,  laughs and that melts my heart. Sahabhaav is very regular on their medical checks for Babli, regular health updates are sent and the family is looped in before any decision of any sort can be taken. Each festival is celebrated with such heart. I couldn't have ever found a better home for Babli. Thank you so much to Dr Mini , Amee & the entire staff of Sahabhaav.

Being overseas and unable to travel to see mum and dad both in their 80s due to Covid 19 along with sudden death of dad was a shock .Came the daunting task of finding some place to have mum safe and sound in care due to many health issues . As we had no relative no family to reach out to . Searching online and doing face time interviews with different care homes was my only options due to peak lockdowns .Spoke to many teams of agescare but mainly it was about package deals or support staff on phone not very convincing or what they had to offer vs what I was looking for mums care . Some insisted they needed a local guardian to take patient in case of hospitalisation is required and we had non. Some were to far away from Mumbai and another question was who would be able to transport mum alone and settle her in intercity / inter state home / and are they easy to acess. So these had to be ruled out . I chanced upon Sahabhaav a Premium Geriatric Care for seniors thru a friend and left a message for them to call back as my last hope.I promptly received a call back from Dr Mini Panicker Founder of Sahabhaav and we spoke almost for 30 min at length about what Sahabhaav had to offer and what were mums needs.Dr Mini was the first person out of so many agecare teams I spoke too who asked about mum about her needs and not about package deals!Gut feeling I knew mum would be safe and well cared here ! And here we are 6 months in with ups and down with mum health, many tears and face times I finally made it back home to visit mum and I'm glad mum is her at Sahaabhav. I've spent precious days and lots of time with staff and mum and all I can say is all 25 to 30 staff members are like family. All take wonderful care are very gentle and look in to each and every residents need with love . All of the staff know about each and every residents. Perfectly coordinated handover makes managing the needs of the resident a breeze. There's Aarti and Yoga and games outings where possible and celebrations done with much fanfare . Regular health check medical appointments to hospitalisation if needed are well taken care off .Regular email updates on health and activity updates on whatsapp group ensured family near and afar would be updated regularly . Sahabhaav would not be Sahabhaav and would not be able to uphold its values without their whole team which is Dr Mini Panicker and her pillar of strengths -Dr Sharma their In-house Physician humble and very caring . Coordinators Amee Jasleen Neelam and Kauser. The nurses Varsha Harshda Malini Snehal. Chefs and caretakers team Kanan Sandeep Shobha Latika and Ratna Reshma and Shyamala to name a few . Kuddos to this team well done.I have come back to my family overseas knowing that Sahabhav is more than home for mum . DR Mini and team Sahabhaav thank you so much for every thing .:)

My family and I cannot begin to express my admiration and gratitude to Dr. Mini, Amee Shah and their excellent teams - at Sahabhaav 1, 2, and now the third and newest branch that we affectionately call “S3.” In fact, Dad chose to return to India from his fancy Assisted Living Place in the US to be under Dr. Mini’s, Aimee’s and her staff’s care. S3 itself is a state of the art facility. Clean, bright, airy and well equipped with every modern convenience. My father has been taken care of so superbly that the wonderful staff at S3 is now family. From knowing when me and my sister FaceTime him every night and keeping his iPad ready, to making sure we are informed about his every milestone. Dad’s a picky eater but no match for the chefs who have mastered his favorite foods! I think the highest compliment I can make to the Sahabhaav family is that every single member of their staff is not just hired for their COMPETENCY but also because taking care of our loved ones is their CALLING! it shows and we are all the more blessed for this. Now we just need a Sahabhaav in the US…

Just as the African proverb says, " it takes a village to raise a child", there is truth in the fact that it takes an entire ecosystem to care for the beloved aged. Sahabhaav is one such ecosystem; truly synonymous with "compassion and care". We could not ask for a more caring "home away from home" for our dear mother. It took no more than an assuring personal visit from Dr Mini Panicker and Ms. Amee Shah for my mother to choose Sahabhaav. Let me stress on the most important aspect of any facility---- its staff. Dr Panicker’s team members (or as she calls it her 'working hands') are not only skilled and experienced but also extremely empathetic and approachable individuals. To name a few, Ms Amee - she is quite the WHOLE N SOUL of the place, a blend of 'soft yet firm', handling the show at Sahabhaav with the greatest efficiency. Ms Shobha - a warm and compassionate person catering to each resident's individual needs, along with efficiently managing the kitchen and tempting elders with her yummy goodies. Ms. Kausar- a quiet, efficient and able person always ready to assist in times of need. Ms Jasleen and Ms Neelam- wonderful, thoughful women, managing everything with precision. Ms Neelam conducts the yoga exercise session which is my mother's favourite part of the day. Dr Manish- caters not only to medical needs of residents; but also regales them with his sense of humor. Round the clock nurses---they do their job diligently and quietly, dispensing the right medicine at the right time. These and so many more dear staff strive every single day to provide a safe and secure environment for the residents. Clean airy rooms, comfortable amenities, medical facilities, hygienic food, focus on individual diet needs, daily visits of in-house doctor, physiotherapist, round the clock nurses-----these are the highlights that make Sahabhaav special. A medical emergency (my mother has had to be rushed to hospital considerably) is managed brilliantly and family members are not troubled in any way. Worth mentioning here--every birthday, festival or national days are celebrated, residents are taken once in a while for short leisure trips and family members of residents are continuously involved in their loved one's progress. Daily evening activties cater to the mental needs of the residents and bring cheer to them.Every resident is persuaded to join in the festivals and activities; no matter the medical condition; but if one does not wish to, the staff gives him/her the space required and the freedom to do so. Now the largest drawback faced in metro cities is the lack of understanding sensible maids. Most of the elderly ( speaking from my mum's struggles over the years) find it difficult to adjust with them. However, I have noticed that, with consistent efforts and training on the part of Sahabhaav staff and a bit of cooperation from the residents, the adjustment gets easier gradually. Negative feedback ( in case of any from family members) is taken by the staff very readily and every attempt is made to help the resident. To conclude I can only say, if "strengthening the old is strengthening the nation", then each one at Sahabhaav is doing just that---putting their heart and soul into each day; with unconditional love in their hearts.

We found this gem of a place for my Dad to stay in when we had to move out of Mumbai for work. we did a lot of research in finding the right place and also visited quite a few assisted living facilities. Sahabhaav clearly stood out much above the rest. We wanted him to be comfortable, get all facilities as at home and also company of people of his age. We could see all this in action at Sahabhaav. This is a premium facility with well appointed rooms, good space for activities for the occupants, highly motivated and trained staff and all facilities that one can hope for. My father had a very good time at Sahabhaav. he was appreciative of the team led by Dr Mini, Amee, Neelam, Jasleen. During Covid times as well when he needed to be hospitalised the team was quick enough to take fast actions and got him treated very well. They have all in house facilities and medical care that is required. We strongly recommend Sahabhaav for any one who is looking for a great place for their Parents.

Dear Team Sahabhaav My heartfelt thanks to each one of you for giving a beautiful home to my father for the last 2 years of his life.Selfless service and caring nature by each one of you filled his days with joy. He was almost wheel chair bound for last 2 years but he went on so many outings with you guys. Being a foodie he enjoyed his meals which were varied and thoughtfully crafted . The last 6 months of his life he was going through several ups and downs with his health ,but you guys gave him the best and prompt medical assistance. Thanks so much team ,forever indebted to you all.

Sahabhaav was the best decision we took when we were looking for a home and family for my father, a true Mumbaikar. His stay of little over a year at Sahabhaav was filled with warm affection, love, care and tremendous patience by each and every person from the Sahabhaav team. Everyone at Sahabhhav was highly responsible and responsive. We found them to be very friendly … not just to all the senior citizens who stay at Sahabhaav, but also to the visiting friends and family. The Sahabhaav facility was excellent. Most days at Sahabhaav were filled with several activities, starting with Yoga in the morning to drawing/painting/games in the afternoon. They also celebrated most festivals and holidays, as well as everyone's birthdays. The Sahabhaav team would take photos and videos of my father participating in these activities and share them with us almost daily. Dad was very picky and selective about his food. The Sahabhaav team took the effort to understand his likes, dislikes and preferences, and tried to offer him variety that would keep him happy. Perhaps the most challenging situation we faced during my dad's stay at Sahabhaav was when he was hospitalised for Covid. When he returned from hospital, he was very disoriented, and very fragile both mentally and physically. The Sahabhaav team worked tirelessly for weeks to bring him back to his cheerful self, as well as to take care of all of his physical ailments. Overall, we could not have found a better home for Dad. We would like to thank the entire Sahabhaav team for everything they have done for Dad and us!

I am writing this review to express my sincere gratitude for the care that my mother received at Sahabhaav. From the moment we made contact to when we met in person, and my mother’s arrival into Sahabhaav’s facility, the staff were welcoming and compassionate, and they consistently demonstrated a dedication to providing the highest level of care. The staff was always kind and attentive, and they went above and beyond to make sure that my mother was comfortable and well taken care of. The level of care was exceptional, especially the care they provided to my mother during her final months and ensured that her needs were met, whether it be for medical attention or simply a conversation to brighten her day. My mother received round-the-clock attention from staff, who were always quick to respond to any needs or concerns. They provided personalized care that took into account her specific medical and emotional needs. They were always available to listen and offer comfort, and for that, we are forever grateful. They kept me updated on my mother’s condition and were always available to answer any questions I had. I never felt like I was in the dark about her care. The facility itself is well-maintained and clean, and there are plenty of activities and amenities to keep residents engaged and entertained. The food is also delicious & top-notch, and customized for each resident. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the care that my mother received at Sahabhaav and would highly recommend it to others in need of assisted living services. My mother has passed away, but I will always remember the care and kindness she received at Sahabhaav. There are many names to thank here, Mini Panicker - the owner/head of the facility, Jasleen & Neelam - the managers and Amie, who heads up the operations, and along with these exceptional ladies, the rest of the Sahabhaav team who have done a wonderful job in providing an exemplary level of service.

Sahabhaav .. true to its name .. is a place where you see happy and joyful coexistence of resident seniors along with their extended family of caretakers, managers, cooks, doctors, nurses and of course the main core management team of Sahabhaav. It is one big happy family.. 😊💕 Our experience right from the word go .. when I made that first call which was answered by Ami ..to the quick and prompt introduction with Dr Mini .. the owner and founder.. and then a wonderful virtual tour of the place .. was just amazing. Sitting thousands of miles away from India, desperately seeking help for my completely bedridden and dementia ridden mother in law .. Sahabhaav was nothing less than a Godsend gift to us! The initial conversation itself with Mini and Ami was comforting and encouraging enough for us to take our decision. We planned a trip to Mumbai soon to meet with them. Our first meeting was so wonderful. The warmth and affection and the dedication and commitment towards this wonderful cause of elderly care could be seen in everyone from the owner to her managers to the entire staff. It was an easy decision for us and we moved mummy to their 2nd center within a week. Mummy was with them for almost two years. She was extremely well taken care of all through! Her physical, mental, emotional and day to day personal needs were all met with to our satisfaction and beyond. The place is clean and well maintained. Food served is delicious and customized keeping in mind medical needs and concerns. The activities and entertainment for the residents is wonderfully coordinated. Overall a home.. a haven of care and comfort for all the residents there. Kudos to team Sahabhaav for their exemplary service.👏 We couldn’t have found a better place for mummy. Keep up the good work! Mini, Ami, Jasleen and Neelam..and the entire staff of Sahabhaav. ..🙏 thank you from the bottom of our hearts.. both Vinod and I are grateful to you all for everything you’ll did for mummy and us! God bless you all! 💕🤗

It's a wonderful place for seniors abode My mother in law Mrs Umadevi dutt is taken care of by Dr Mini and her staff at Andheri West centre, as if she's their own mother. Dr Mini has started this assisted help, resulting in a very comfortable stay for elderly. There was always a need for such assistance in mumbai. Thankfully this vacuum has been filled

Very well professionally managed facility. Clean rooms, nice and variety of food served, recreational programs arranged and courteous staff. Most importantly, they care for senior citizens. The owner is a doctor that helps. The manager takes care of all administrative needs.

I evaluated Sahabhaav, as my one of my friends abroad was looking for an old age home for his parents. The place is well located and is a great set up overall. It is very different from the old age homes that I have seen. The place is clean, well lit up and richly furnished like an upscale resort. The facilities are great and what makes the place special is the people that take care of the inmates like Dr.Mini Panickar, Ami Shah and their team. They do activities during festivals and Ganapati Bapa was set up when i went there. The delicacies made for the occasion were mouth watering while keeping in mind the clientele they cater too. I am really impressed by the concept and the work that is being done by the team. Keep up the great work.

Team Sahabhaav genuinely care with kindness, decency and compassion! I cannot thank Dr Mini Panicker, Amee Shah and their brilliant team enough for looking after my mother so wonderfully for the last 5 months. My mother is completely dependent and needs round the clock care. She was looked after at home for several years, but with advancing frailty, social isolation, and increasingly complex medical needs, we needed a team, with the right knowledge, resources, and compassionate approach. Now with the excellent care, my mother’s health has improved, her quality of life is better, and she is so much more alert. Her bed sores, which we thought would never heal, have all but disappeared. Sahabhaav has a positive vibe of kindness, empathy and general cheerfulness. A place that is thoughtfully decorated, well maintained, well equipped for medical care, a comfortable home, where our parents can live with dignity. Before accepting to take on my mother’s care, Dr Mini and Amee, visited my mother at home, carefully went through her medical issues and care requirements to decide if they were able to meet her needs. As a doctor myself, I was impressed with the standard of their assessment and attention to detail and they were very respectful and considerate towards my mother. I was at Sahabhaav almost every day for the first 3 weeks of my mother’s stay, to settle her in and thus had an opportunity to see for myself how excellent the day-to-day care is and how well this place is run. The staff were very happy to liaise with me, to understand my mother’s likes and dislikes and how best to meet her needs. Reassuringly, they quickly established links with various clinicians involved in my mother’s care. There is always enough staff around and everyone is very considerate and loving, to all residents. The team truly understand that residents, now in their twilight years, need to feel happy, secure, content, stimulated and treated with respect. They need to be listened to and their individual needs be met. There are a range of activities that help stimulate. They do love a good party and there are many celebrations! The wide variety of food is delicious and made fresh on site. Staff go over and beyond to ensure that individual taste is catered for and ensure that every individual has the right food and drink. I was really touched when they asked me the recipes of food my mother enjoys. The care is truly person centric. I am also grateful for the team’s kindness and patience towards us, understanding fully well our trepidations and anxieties around the enormous step of placing one’s loved one in their care. Knowing my mother is now getting the best possible care, helps to ease that worry. We are in regular communication and Team Sahabhaav works in partnership with us around any decisions about our mother’s care. I cannot recommend Sahabhaav enough. The care is truly outstanding. I wish Team Sahabhaav ongoing success!

My mother in law (Amma) is 89 and was afflicted with Covid. She was in the ICU & Ward for 14 days. Within some weeks after her return home, she faced sodium and electrolyte imbalances and was again admitted in the ICU after she had convulsions. She couldn't walk, talk or carry out basic functions on her own. We were finding it extremely difficult to manage Amma by ourselves along with a 24-hour help. That's where *Sahabhaav* came in. It is a Geriatric facility for senior citizens in the heart of the city run by Dr. Mini Panicker, ably assisted by Ms. Amee Shah and a team of able Managers, Nurses and staff. We got in touch with them and they were kind enough to visit our home to meet Amma, whereafter, they agreed to take in Amma at their facility. What we witnessed in the next three weeks was like a miracle! Thanks to their expert assistance and ministrations, Amma today's talks fluently; walks the length and breath of our flat and is in the best of spirits and mental acumen. Mini and Amee are great people. The beauty is that the facility is blessed with dedicated and sincere people, right up to the male assistants. The facility functions like a mini Hospital with basic tests undertaken within the premises itself. They do have broad rules but each individual is treated based on their needs and requirements. Amma is South Indian and a vegetarian - she gets the food she likes including curd with each meal!! Here, the seniors are treated as individuals with preferences & their likes and dislikes are noted. They are indulged (and even pampered) with various activities and kept in good humour. For example, Amma is good with crochet, knitting and rangoli. Despite her advanced age, she was made to pursue these interests and supplied with the required material! There are various entertainment options: seated yoga, games (drawing colouring, carrom - you name it!), prayers/aarathi, music, singers...the list goes on. Here is a place where you leave your loved ones & be at peace that they are in very safe and good hands. In many ways, the facilities are equal or better than what we offer at home: Fowler beds, O2 supply, ECG, blood tests, Doctor visits, air conditioning & most important, a never ending group of affable, smiling and engaging staff keeping every member's spirits up ensuring speedy return to good health, like we witnessed in Amma. Kudos to Dr. Mini and her team & may God bless them to keep up the great work...

Sahabhaav is not just an old age facility. It has all the ingredients that go into making of what we would call home. There is lots of love and care, unconditional support from each and every staff member (if you could call then that) of Sahabhaav. The activities conducted there ensures almost a customized program depending on the like and dislikes of the inmate. Each aspect of living life with dignity is taken care of at Sahabhaav. Wishing team Sahabhaav all the very best and am sure they will keep making a difference in the lives of the elderly renewing the whole meaning of living once again. Congratulations Dr Mini Panicker and Ms Ami Shah for the wonderful management and the proactive activities conceptualised by then.

Sahabhaav is more than a care facility for the elderly. It is their second home and Dr Mini and Amee and the staff go all the way to make this happen. The facility is conveniently located in Mumbai has enough space and the staff is loving and caring. I would not hesitate in recommending this faclility to anyone who needs to leave their near and dear ones there.

While old age can be frightening for many of the elderly but 'Sahabhaav' is breaking all the norms and redefining the term. the ambience at sahabhaav is very pleasant and helps the elderly to age gracefully while making every moment a memorable one! Special thanks to Dr. Mini for being a remarkable human being with a big heart for all the elderly. Thankyou for the immeasurably valuable treatment everyone renders at sahabhaav. Sahabhaav is run by a very very dedicated team of people who are humans first and professionals later. The care and effort that is taken by the entire team, and more so in the COVID times is unbeatable. Clean and healthy up keep, meticulously planned meals according to individual needs and medical care support are the winning stars for this care facility. It is the most difficult task that this team has taken up and are tirelessly involved with each person living with them. Patience and a smiling demeanour are the most rare and fine virtues available in this facility. I can vouch for it personally! MORE POWER to you team SAHABHAAV! Please keep up the good work!
