This is a nice local family restaurant. The service was quick and very good. This place has a nice atmosphere and will handle quite a few people.

Kevin was a great server, the ambience is really nice and country-style, and the portions are huge. Hamburgers are of course the mainstay, but the menu is large and there’s something to please everyone. Some outdoor and patio seating. Everything came out rather quickly and prices were very fair. Knocking a star off for the absolutely filthy and run-down men’s bathroom.

I love this place. Great atmosphere. Old fashion and great food. Never had a bad meal here.

It was everything I had hoped it would be. The food was outstandingly delicious. This morning we three had ham and eggs and Chicken Fried Steak. All was delicious. So much to look at on the grounds also. The train is fun.

Great little restaurant! We went in for breakfast and found it amazing. The omelet was massive and full of meat and cheese. My friend had the breakfast bowl with steak and lobster, that too was simply amazing.

Tried the new menu last week and the food was excellent. Burgers were delicious and our kids were stoked on the new fries and chips. The steak tips stood out; great flavor and a delicious char on them. The ribs were tender and flavorful. For dessert the shakes were awesome. Friendly servers and attentive staff! The patio was a great place with kids and to watch the game on the big screen.

What a great place!!! I know these times are hard for restaurants but they did an amazing job! Seemed like there were only 2-3 front of house staff plus the kitchen. We did have to wait several minutes to be greeted then sat, however they did have a sign that all do saying there may be a wait and they’d be with us as soon as possible. Once we were sat, the menu is huge and everything sounds so good it was about impossible to choose! Our server, Dago, was amazing. So friendly and quick, didn’t seem frazzled nor did he rush us even though I think he was the only server, and was busy. Took the time to talk to us and get us what we needed. We all loved our dishes and tried a bite of each other’s. So good! The chicken fried steak Cheeseburger Mac and cheese Maple bacon burger Branding Iron burger The tater tots, mashed potatoes, bread stick, and chocolate shake also! Amazing! Can’t wait to be back to try more! Also want to try their breakfast!! It was so good, it was gone before we could take pictures! Haha

We live locally and had not been here in years. The food back in the day was very hit or miss, so we kinda stopped going. I had heard that it was under new ownership, so thought we would give it a try. Seems like they have made it slightly more modern, but it's still very much like the old place. The food has not changed much. I got steak frites which was a tiny overcooked steak and room temperature fries. My wife's hamburger was also extremely well done and pretty flavorless. My daughter got a BLT and thought it was pretty good. Her milkshake was truthfully phenomenal. Service was OK. My grandfather used to call this lazy cooking. I doubt we'll be back, but I do hope that they get things together.

Can I say wow?!? I have never been here nor have I ever heard of this place. When shopping today in Poway with my mom, she said she was craving a hamburger. So I looked up places and stumbled across this place. Becca was our server. She was absolutely AMAZING!! Told us the history, and how this place came about. Her service was impeccable! The food was delicious! Fast, amazing service, with excellent food is hard to find these days. Thank you hamburger factory!!

Had a great lunch with my 1/2 sis; I had the Ohrnburger and she had the classic. Both were cooked as ordered and were delicious. The only disappointment was the service. Our server was slow and inattentive. I can say this with confidence because a group of four who checked in after us was served earlier and the server was by their table numerous times; he was friendly and engaging, unlike ours who was just doing her job…. She did not check in to see how the food was, and we would have told her at that time she forgot part of the order. So - thumbs up for food, thumbs down for our server, and thumbs up for the guy serving the table next to us.

Food is amazing, big portions, and service is great. Been coming here for 30 years and the place hasn’t changed from being a great home away from home for a great meal.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Hamburger Factory, and I must say, it was quite an experience. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a lively atmosphere filled with Western themes, complete with bison and mounted animal heads adorning the walls. The restaurant was bustling with customers during lunchtime, although it did seem that they were a bit understaffed with only one server on the floor. Once we were seated, I delved into the menu and decided to start my meal with their clam chowder. Let me tell you, it was absolutely fantastic! The chowder had a rich and creamy texture, and it was loaded with succulent clams. The flavors were well-balanced and left me craving for more. For the main course, I opted for the Black and Blu burger, and I must say, it surpassed my expectations. The meat patty was incredibly juicy, cooked to perfection, and the sauce that accompanied it was thick and flavorful. The burger was a delightful combination of savory and tangy flavors, leaving me thoroughly satisfied. Overall, my experience at the Hamburger Factory was a positive one. Despite the busy lunchtime crowd and limited number of servers, the food quality was exceptional. I can't wait to return and try out another one of their delectable burger creations.

Truly a hidden gem! Love this place! Was ok under the old owners. New owners have taken this place to the next level. Burgers are so good and the service is super friendly. Easy parking and fun atmosphere.

This place is absolutely delicious. My wife and I drove 27 miles each way so we could have our amazing meal. The food , service and atmosphere are all top knotch. We already can't wait till we get to go back.

I went to the Hamburger Factory for dinner on a Thursday evening and had a great evening there! I had the Veggie Pesto Sandwich and it was absolutely delicious! I love the cozy family feel to the dining room. Our waitress Becca was so warm, friendly and attentive. The new owner, Josh, came to our table to check in to see how things were and he made a point to get to all the tables to do the same with the other customers. You can tell he really cares about the food that is served and about the whole dining experience for his customers. I look forward to returning and trying more menu items!

This was my first time here and was blown away by their cheese burger. The meat was seasoned really well, and everything came out perfect. Staff was friendly, and inside the restaurant was nice and clean. They didn’t have cherry coke on the menu and they still made me one anyways. This is definitely is a classic burger place and it has an awesome charm to it. Great spot 👍🏻

Food is amazing. Menu is simplified over the old one. Would love to see the clam strips come back.

This was the first time I ever went to this place. First off I love the Old Town feeling of being back in the western parts of San diego. It was almost like old town. But a little bit better. Not as many people but the buildings and the structures and the train cars and everything about it was so much better. Get into the restaurant the atmosphere in the restaurant was amazing it was quiet not a lot of people you walked in and the people that were there and even the servers and the employees gave you a smile said hello asked you how things were going. The food prices weren't too bad the food was amazing it filled me up and I didn't even have room for dessert. The one thing I did notice was that my waitress gave me too much money back from the price of my food. She gave me actually $15 more than what I was supposed to get back I gave her a certain amount and that was supposed to cover everything including the tip but she returned $15 and I didn't realize that until after I left the restaurant. But in actuality I was giving her an extra $10 tip which actually was $10 that she had shorted herself on my bill so she did get the bill paid I wasn't able to give her my full tip because I didn't realize it until after I had left the restaurant but the next time I come back I will be giving her the rest of her tip. Place is awesome. That's all I can say everybody was nice the food was great cooked exactly the way I wanted it I love the place to death. I can't wait to go back.

We love going to the Hamburger Factory! The breakfast is fantastic! Pancakes, French Toast, and Biscuits and Gravy are wonderful. The chicken fried steak was good but not the best I've had. The service is wonderful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Frequently checking in and topping off drinks. The waiter planned ahead and brought our kiddos food out early so we could prep it and cut it up before our food came out which was super helpful. And the atmosphere is great. The decorations are fun to look at and always themed for the season. A great country diner vibe.

Great burgers and a very unique location. The service tends to be slow and under-staffed but friendly. We will be going back for sure when we aren't in a rush. Good gluten free options for those who need it.

This place was delicious. I got the Shorn?????? Burger (I can't even say the name). Delicious. Had the mint shake, also delicious. I do recommend the place. It got super busy so service was a little slow but over all, it was excellent. I'll come back.

We love having family dinner nights at Hamburger Factory, especially Tuesday nights when it's kids eat free. It's a cute little hamburger joint with a fun atmosphere. If you're looking for something other than burgers, I recommend the French dip. Definitely a great spot to check out .

Always a pleasure to eat here. Staff is fun and friendly. The atmosphere is so great. So much to see. They even have an animated Buffalo head! Just like Disneyland used to❤️ It could only improve, if it was closer to my home. Great place to take the family. We have had birthdays, as well as retirement parties, and post funeral, memorials here. Wonderful comfort food! Their schooners of beer are huge and perfect sized! 5++ stars!

Family style restaurant with an old country feel. Antique objects line this restaurant from floor to ceiling. You feel like you’re taking a step back in time when dining here. The food is pretty good. Home style cooking serving breakfast, lunch & dinner. They also serve beer and wine. The staff is friendly and there usually isn’t a big wait. Enjoy!

We love the Hamburger Factory. We've been going for years and years and it's never let us down. My son loves the hot dog, my wife the burgers and I love the Tuna Meltdown. The staff is always friendly and competent. It's fun to sit inside or out. Great family environment and it's right in old Poway Park so the kids can run it off after you eat. Plenty of parking, right off Midland, it's a go to!!!

This place took me back! Everything felt so western with such great Decor that reminded me of classic saloon style restaurant. Greeted at the door and seating promptly by the lovely staff. Drink order was quick and the rest is just history! Amazing menu with kid friendly selections, my niece loved her burger and she's definitely picky. Budget friendly place too, so if your just around the corner watching family play softball at Aubrey Park like we were, drop in support them, best burgers in town...Great job can't wait to be back for a burger...and softball!

This is a such a great restaurant. It has a killer breakfast burrito, and amazing sandwiches. Everything I've had at Hamburger Factory has been satisfying. The service is just as good as the food, in my opinion. That adds to the pleasant experience. I also enjoy walking around the park after a meal with friends. Going to Hamburger Factory is a wonderful experience.
