(Translated by Google) A great place. The history of encryption from the earliest times. Probably all ciphers that have been in use around the world are presented. The history of deciphering Enigma and the Polish scientists who did it is presented in a very interesting way. The museum is largely multimedia. The original Enigma can of course be seen as well as a few other exhibits. You can play old Commodore and, of course, play a thoroughbred cipher and code breaker. There are many multimedia and manual stations at your disposal where you can try your hand at reading encrypted messages. The media library is also an interesting point. Very committed people can spend up to 3 hours here. The whole tour is accompanied by an audioguide, which is included in the ticket price, and the locker in the cloakroom is self-coded using a code invented by you. I recommend (Original) Super miejsce. Polecam

A must visit place in Poznań. The atmosphere there is conducive to understanding cryptoanalysis. The history of this science is clearly explained, the decor is of high quality without being too "amusement park" and the various workshops are interesting and fun. The little extra, the quality of the staff, pleasant, friendly and considerate. We will return with great interest.

Absolutely worth it! Great museum, takes about 2-3 hours to finish everything and it gives a great insight on the history of cryptography, the Enigma code, Polish achievements, post war cryptography and even future predictions. The price includes and audio guide and all the museum long there's interactive screens and activities. I highly recommend to visit!! The price is also very affordable and there's student discount.

Promujecie to bardziej bo WARTO!

A must-see place to visit if you’re at all interested in the world history. If not for the Polish cryptographers, who had an idea to apply mathematics to code breaking, and started working on the Enigma in mid 1930s well before the start of the WW2, who knew how the world would look like today? The museum also covers extensively the history of cryptography, various types of codes and cyphers, and other related stories. All the content is provided in multiple languages. Museum admission includes “intelligent” guiding tour (recorded).

This is a fantastic museum full of interactive exhibitions and you can change the language to English, German or Russian. The audio guide is brilliant and gives you a detailed history. We stayed for four hours and could’ve easily stayed longer!

Very modern museum starting right from the door :) 1 hour was not enough to check everything (there are a lot interactive stands). And I would like to say big Thank You for a free excursion for Ukrainians. The tour guide Marta is absolutely wonderful, she loves her job very much and ready to tell every story she knows in an interesting manner. Recommend this place!

American here: this is a world class museum that’s a must see if you’re in Poznań, I’d say the best in the city. Learned so much about Poland’s role in Enigma, didn’t realize there was any at all. Everything is in Polish or English, so there was no missed information for me. The audio tour was excellent.

I spent 4.5 hours here and had to get thrown out of the museum. The lady at the desk couldn't believe I'd spent so long tooling around in there... but I love WW2 history, cryptography and puzzles! I just got totally sucked into it all and ended up in a dopamine-fuelled haze. The museum is done extremely well, and if you take the time to work on some of the puzzles they reward you with little hidden extras. A wonderful time!

An incredibly in depth look at the pioneers of Polish code breakers / cryptography experts whose efforts established the foundation with which to break the Enigma code. Lots of interactive storytelling elements in the Museum and you can also try your hand at code breaking! There are English audio guides, do set aside at least 2-3 hours for this highly immersive experience.

Very interesting museum about I thought would be just about the enigma machine, but turns out it's a guide to how the earliest of obscufication started and leads to the grand story of how the enigma code was cracked. Definitely worth a visit of these words pique your interest, lots of the stuff there are hands on and will have you trying stuff out for a while.

What a fabulous place for anyone interested in history, maths, or problem-solving. I was drawn to the story of the breaking of the Enigma codes which started in Poznan but thoroughly enjoyed the interactive experience of the audio guide and the additional touch screens. A great experience.

Modern museum with a lot of interactive elements. The museum sets up the story of the start of polish cryptography- then goes on to show you different kinds of ciphers and techniques. Once you’ve been shown and had a chance to give it ago yourself with hands on examples the next section shows how to crack them. Bringing us back to world war 2, the enigma machine, decoding efforts and the results these decided messages brought for the outcome of the war.

Great new exhibition showcasing the history of cryptography and the role of Poznanians in breaking the Enigma code. Unfortunately a number of exhibits didn't have a translation into languages other than Polish yet.
