Be careful , hotel is a scamer. If you book room via booking, you already paying all taxes. In check out date hotel gives you invoice fo city tax. They know about that you are already paid, but they call this bookinh included payment "currency conversation tax". Be shure that you are'nt stay at these hotel. As well this rooms are very bad for alergics, verry dusty, and not a very clean ventilaition systems.

Do NOT book with these guys !!! I was driving to Zurich and wanted to stop by in Prague....I booked them via Booking.com as the page says: "Parking is provided in the underground hotel car park" I made the reservation and contacted them to confirm the parking spot..... the reply was "Sorry...we have a very small parking lot but you can park at a near parking...only 1.4KM away (1 mile) and walk over." I am like... WHAT?? Well... in that case I asked them to cancel my reservations (over 2 weeks ahead of the trip) - and they replied; "No can do.... this reservation was non-refundable" Back and forth emails... call to Booking.com... they also tried but the Hotel wouldn't respect my ask to cancel. They kept saying.... Reservation is non-refundable and you can park at the other spot. What a HORRIBLE Customer service !! How can you advertise and say you have underground parking lot available if you have extremely limited space.....and what kind of Hotel would require its clients to first call and verify parking availability before booking a room ??? DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE - they NEED TO BE TOUGHT some basics of Customer Service

We lived in two rooms, one was a junior suite (old furniture, an old TV and a third bed in a room for 2 people, as well as a lack of air conditioning and poor internet), as well as a triple room, but already ordinary (where it was more spacious, but still the same old furniture, besides the lack of sockets - one is free, and there are three of us). Also, when checking out, I forgot a bottle of water in the room, but when I returned, they said that the room had been cleaned and there was no bottle. The service would have been great if it wasn't for the theft, although it's very funny to steal a water bottle. In general, the location is not bad, but the service, conditions for relaxation and comfort do not match the prices and the number of stars of this hotel.

I stayed for 2 nights from 10th-12th July. Location was great, near the tram stop. Rooms were sparkling clean and I love the retro design. Breakfast were okay. I initially got a non-AC room and had to pay extra to upgrade my room to have AC. The next day, I requested for a double bed and my room got upgraded (for free) to an executive room. This was such a generous gesture from the manager. For future guests, know your room type before booking, and I think you can always request for an air conditioned room (with additional fees) if you initially booked for non-AC (standard?) room.

The room was dated and could use a renovation. We had 3 lamps in the room and 2 were not working at all. TV remote wasn't working. There were very few power sockets. Bathroom smelled strange, the automatic light there was turning on randomly (also during night) and there were also some ants on the floor. The overall cleanliness wasn't the best (hair and dust on the floor, shower wasn't super clean). 1 tiny soap and one tiny bottle of shampoo was provided, but no more (for 2 people staying for 4 nights). The breakfast was so-so - not great, not terrible - good selection, but not so good quality. They have a tiny garage (spot needs to be reserved in advance - 20€/night), which was nice. Overall I was disappointed. I stayed in 2* hotels that were much better.

This hotel is a nice example of the inaccuracy of the hotel star rating, which tells you only about which facilities the hotel has (or claims to have), and not about their quality or experience you will have. There were many small problems. The room equipment was not in a good shape (the room was dated, some lamps not working, not enough power sockets, weird automatic bathroom light, TV remote not working). The breakfast was very low quality - the ingredients felt not fresh and were too cheap and there was probably some problem with the storage/manipulation (sweet pastry had a strong pepper taste included, the carrots had some unnecessary spices added). But we appreciated the pancakes for breakfast on some days, the possibility to reserve a parking place in the hotel garage, the large desk in the hotel room and the location of the hotel (a tram stop was nearby with a possibility to get a quick tram ride to the city center). Overall, the hotel was OK (there was not any big problem), but do not get somehow fooled by its 4 star rating awaiting something out of ordinary - the hotel will only meet the standards and that's it. We stayed in hotels with way lower ratings and had better experience with up to date standards/processes and the effort to provide a unique service.

This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.I‘ve been to a lot of different places and hotels and this is by far the very worst. Not worth the 4 star rating it has. Reasons: -Loud sounds It was so hard to sleep because you can hear every single noise from outside of the door and walls. Our room was on the street side (which all rooms are) and the outside noises of the street were very loud. You can hear every single footstep from outsite the door and if someone was talking outside you could hear it loudly And clearly.Water kept running in toilet for around a whole day and It was so loud we barely could sleep. -water We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights.First day the water was fine. But on the second day the water suddenly stopped. There was no water to shower, brush your teeth, wash your face/hands etc. After 8hours the water came back really really thin. There wasn‘t any drinkable water. -Dirty room/toilet The floor in our three person room was dirty and hasn’t been cleaned for at least 2 weeks. Cleaning supplies haven’t entered the bathroom in probably a month. The bathroom was really small and one adult could barely fit in there. The sink was disgustingly dirty and there wasn‘t any place to put your toothbrush, toothpaste etc on. -parking We had reserved a spot in their parking lot as it said on the website that they had a parking lot. When we arrived there and asked for the spot they said that the space was really small and there isn’t any place for us to park and that we had to drive for almost 1.5km and had to pay 6€ when we drove there we couldn’t find it anywhere so we went back to the hotel and asked. They said we had to find it on our own.We drove around for atleast 20 minutes until we found a spot to park (for free because it was on a Saturday)Our car stayed there for free until sunday. Finally they told they had a spot free in their parking lot so we drove there. The next day when we wanted to check out they told us that we had to pay 20€ for the day that our car stayed there! They didn’t tell us anything about the price when they told us about the parking lot so we had thought it was free or the maximum of 10€!! Please do NOT waste your money on this hotel.I would never step a foot in this hotel again!!!! Very VERY bad experience.

3 stars because it’s in a good location and the staff are nice and friendly. Definitely not a 4 stars hotel ! The room was very dusty and even had some spider webs in the ceiling. The breakfast was below average, they had quite a few options but nothing tasted good, I also do not recall seeing any options that are vegan friendly. The bed and pillows were not comfortable, but the room was spacey. The location was great. There’s a nice park nearby with great views, and a few good food options. You can also just walk to Charles bridge or the old town if you’d like (around 30min walk), or take one of the multiple tram options that are 4-6min walk away. They allowed me to leave my luggage after check out and pick it up later.

Very nice receptionist and a very clean and warm room. Also the tram is super close and you can reach the center in a few minutes. Next visit to Prag I really consider to visit again

Had a lovely stay at the belvedere with my partner for a romantic get away. We got an executive suite which had so much room, amazing big bathroom with a bath/shower which also had plenty of space and styled nicely. I would definitely recommend paying a little bit extra for the bigger room since it was definitely worth it! It was very peaceful since we weren't facing the main road, and the WiFi reached us perfectly! Location was great for us as we like to do alot of walking, there is a lovely route through the park and up to the castle/old town so plenty of dreamy streets to walk through but there is also a tram/bus route under a minute away. Staff were very attentive and friendly, got to the hotel very early and we were aloud to put our luggage in a lock up room so we could still explore without the hassle. Breakfast was just right, with a mix of hot and contental items that suited us just perfectly for the early mornings with plenty to choose from. A tip for a more authentic experience is that there are alot of smaller Czech pubs/bars/restaurants very close by that are brilliant for a local beers/food/wine, definitely bring some converted money since most of them only take cash and the ATM at the hotel is very expensive to use. All in all we had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back again!

Hotel was in a great area, quiet and not congested with traffic or tourists. Some great restaurants in the area. Hotel itself was very clean and brekfast had all you could want. It loses one star because of the shower. In order to shower. You had to hold the shower head, and when you wanted to use shampoo or body wash etc. You had to turn off the water. Apply and then set to the shower settings and turn on. This was because the shower holder was not properly mounted in the wall and with one loose screw. This meant if you places the shower head In the holder while the shower was running. The holder would spin, blasting all the water on the ceiling and all over the floors. It's a simple fix, that they don't seem interested in doing. But other than the shower. Great hotel

Overall a great stay. Clean rooms, very spacious and with air con. Breakfast was pretty decent too and a quiet location with easy access to the city with public transport.

There is no air conditioning in this hotel so it's very hot in the room and it's difficult to sleep especially during the summer. You can hear noises from the corridor when you are in the room. I found the bathroom small. The breakfast is pretty ok.

I had a wonderful stay at this quite average hotel. The receptionists were remarkably polite. The breakfast buffet was totally fine with a lot of fruits, vegetables, bread, sausages, variations of eggs just to name a few. It is actually a very quiet area across the river with about 20-30 minute foot walk to the Centre but you can also call a Bolt or an Uber. There are restaurants right across the streets and a mini market nearby. The hotel also has a luggage room, where you can leave your luggage after the checkout and a very comfortable Lobby to relax. If you want to treat yourself they also offer Thai massages. To sum it up I had a pleasant stay.

Where do I start? A ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ hotel, in reality more a ⭐️⭐️+ The good thing(s) - the location, it is easy to reach the Old city center either by foot (20 mins) or by using the trams where several lines have stops nearby. Second there is a lot of nice restaurants nearby the hotel. The not so good - the noise, both from the street and the other rooms. The bed was hard as rocks. The wifi is horrible and for sure not nearly stable or fast enough for work. The breakfast is boring - the eggs are hardly warm, eventhough being there at 7 AM when the breakfast starts.

Pros: Good location No noise from the street Cons: Parking - only a small garage, “need to book a month in advance” A/C noisy and not working properly Cranky bed Hot water was not running Extremely small bathroom Weird room bill (one night stay split into 12 items)

Too expensive. Passable. Liked · Executive sweet rooms were clean, nice and cosy. Beds were good enough. Bathroom aged but clean. Close to tram station. Disliked · Breakfast was the worst we’ve seen in years, not worth the money. Overdone scrambled eggs drowning in water, simplistic bread options, very few choices in toppings for bread. The staff was not really interested, receptionist went for a smoke while we were filling out some forms and took 5-ish minutes before he was back. During breakfast staff didn’t respond to questions, just ignored the guests. For the asking price you would expect more.

Location is good due to tram being nearby, however, parking only available if booked in advance (and sometimes not even then). The hotel staff is friendly and very helpful, however, the rooms are rather old and small, no space really. Breakfast is good and the selection is big.

The location of the hotel is quite convenient - 15 min by foot to the Old Town. The hotel staff is polite. The breakfast is quite delicious and varied. The room was clean. The website indicates the availability of Private Parking, but upon arrival it turns out that it is only for 5 cars and must be booked several weeks in advance. And in the area next to the hotel, places are intended only for city residents. It is even forbidden to park next to the hotel just in order to check in. Late in the evening we had to spend an hour driving through the streets looking for accessible paid parking! When we asked the receptionist why this information was not written when booking, they replied that they are not responsible for what is written on the Booking page.

Value for money. Great location. Rooms are small, but work great for short stays. The breakfast buffet spread is quite vast compared to average european hotels.

It is an old but very nice city hotel with an 80s style interior. The staff is quite helpful and positive. Breakfast was amazing. I stayed at many hotels in a different.stars but breakfast was one of the best. Only and the most important comment is for beds. This is a negative comment because the bed was terribly uncomfortable. Please change them!!! Because bed is the first important thing in a hotel. Location is a bit far from city but there is night tram almost every 10 minutes even at 2am. I suggest hotel to people looks like for a price/performance.

Good Hotel, worth the price. Best free breakfast I have ever had, and nice for the room to have 3 single beds. Would stay again.

Its around 60 euro for a night. Breakfast is great. It's Just 4 stations away from the city Center. So close to the tram station, also there are cafes, bars, restaurants and a mall nearby. Rooms are clean and large, only there isnt air conditions, only fans.

Great Hotel, helpful and friendly staff, and great location! I asked for an early breakfast, and they managed to prepare a nice small breakfast package to go for me! Also the room was spacious and clean and the breakfast buffet had a great selection. The Hotel has an original atmosphere, I would be happy to come back!

We had some family event here and I can honestly say I'd go for it again. Friendly and professional staff did everything to make our time even better. Rooms are nice and clean with comfy beds. I'd love to send special thanks to miss Klára from kitchen who's customer service was outstanding!

Is clean, but bit dated. Our first room the lights and sockets didn't work. Got a new but smaller room. Anoying are the marketing SMS we get...

Very good place to stay, they clean the rooms daily, breakfast was perfect. The place where is situated is perfect to have connections by tram to the city center.

Great service, loved this place and would definitely recommend staying here. Across from the hotel there is an amazing restaurant called Forky’s which is also worth checking out, especially if you are vegan.

A very unpleasant experience. Ok hotel, good breakfast but terrible service at the reception. When asked about the gym, we first heard that there is none. Two days later she is available. But the receptionist meant a shop where you can buy your gym clothes. We came with a small child. The reception did not inform us that they have a play area for children. If you have a birthday, notify the reception, because after writing an e-mail and entering the date of birth on the registration card, the reception does not know it. Never again.

Everything OK, breakfasts with good variety of food, hotel is aged but well maintained. One star minus for tram noise over night - I think better windows should solve this problem. 30 minutes walk to the Prague center, downhill on the way there but uphill on the way back.

  • 2/5 Gosztonyi B. 2 years ago on Google
Beautiful from the outside. Everyone is nice, but the breakfast is extremely poor quality and the choice is ridiculously small. The room is not soundproof enough, you can hear someone walking past the door or talking in the hallway. No carpet in the room, light switches are very stupidly placed (no central switch) No sign on the door (please clean/do not clean) There is no way to charge the phone/laptop comfortably, you have to crawl on all fours behind the bedside table to the socket. I booked a cross on booking dot com, but due to some anomaly, they don't allow you to write a review, you can only send it to the hotel... but it's weird. It's fine for short sleeps, but don't expect too much.

During our stay we had quite a positive experience there with people, however it was not that good with accommodating. Must admit the breakfast was just fine. Great service at reception, quite good cleanliness, nice underground parking. Convenient location, public transport is just 2 minutes away. (Tram tickets are ~ €1,20 per 30min; ~10-15 minutes was enough to take to the center by tram, and about 30 minutes of walking) But in the room: - there were not enough power supply sockets (nowadays everyone needs to charge their smartphones daily at easily accessible places) - a light in bathroom was blinking all night long without possibility to turn it off (like in horror movies 😀) luckily we could just close the door.. - a light in bathroom was turning off few minutes after entering there even if someone was inside a shower cabin (had to go out several times to wave with hand behind the sensor during taking a shower) - a bottle of water would be a valuable addition to have it upon arrival. (That’s just a wish, to not forcing the visitors going out seeking it on the street) Thanks for welcoming us at your hotel!

+ Good location, only 15 minutes from the centre by tram. Rooms are big, beds are very comfortable. Very good selection for the breakfast. Helpful staff. Play are for kids is very cute. It was lovely surprise to get a bottle of champagne on my birthday:) Thanks a lot for that! - Shower and toilets are small and noisy. (Difficult to open the door silently and too noisy when flashing) - The floor was not clean.
