🤢🤮Definitely not a place for family or friends. I came to visit Prague with my family for a week. We were shocked and disappointed. We changed the hotel even though they didn’t return our wasted money. 🤐 They don’t have hygiene and also toilets in here are shareable 🤮 wooow🤢🤮no slippers, no shampoo, no soap and even toilet paper 🤢. We found very much better hotel in Prague with the same price .👌🏻

It should be in your list if you are a solo traveller who just needs a place to sleep and leave stuff. Although the building is relatively old, the service is pretty amazing. Clean rooms, WC, bathroom and passages. There's an elevator but it doesn't reach the 5th floor ;) Staff is friendly and speaks English and Russian (not sure about other languages). Please note that if you want to book a room on site, you should secure 50 euros as a deposit in cash which is refundable. That's why I booked via Booking.com as I didn't have enough cash.

Dirty sheets, breakfast lowest quality I’ve ever seen, 50€ deposit, check in process 45 minutes.

+ You can easily reach city centre by public transport. Free tea in the bar is pleasant thing, as well as common area on the first floor where you can sit. The room was cleaned every day. - There is no slippers and shoelace in the room. The shower was leaking. Hotel didn’t inform us before arriving about additional 2 euro of city tax for each day per person staying in the hotel. Very poor noise insulation, you can hear people stomping their feet on the floor above.

The location is wonderful to explore the city. That's about all that's worth the stay in this hotel. The room we booked was minuscule, there was nowhere to leave your bags and be able to open the door at the same time. Our room was actually split into two with a shared bathroom and a shared hall which echoed every sound, making it very loud. The room was also not cleaned during our stay nor were our towels replaced. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting, smelled of mold and the shower was broken, replaced only with a too-long curtain that was already molded at the bottom.

It was a very nice stay in Prague. City is excellent, with old architecture. The hotel staff is really polite and helpful. Room was very clean. Breakfast is really tasty and has a rather big choice. Hope to be back one day

NEVER get into this horrible elevator if you don’t want to stuck in it like us!!!! We were stuck in it for half an hour, the emergency button did not work and nobody could hear us for a long time. The night was also horrible, if you are unlucky, you have neighbours that shout whole night and do not have any respect to others so you do not get to sleep at all. Not again!

Had a private room with 2 twin beds, very comfortable. It's a nice location, with good connections to public transport. We didn't make use of the breakfast or pool, but everything else was good value for the price.

The room we stayed in was updated. Good bed and bathroom. Small space but manageable. Great access to metro. Great value. Only complaints: we didn't have a remote for the TV and the staff couldn't locate one and the wifi was spotty in parts of our room.

My girlfriend and me spend three nights at the gallary Hotel. Our booking was motivated by the cheap price, which, as a first surprise, was not as cheap as claimed as we still had to pay the city taxes of 12€. Before our stay we called the hotel. Unfortunately, the guy on the phone did not understand English upon which he hung up on us without calling back. The hotel rooms and the breakfast were decent and the staff on the first two days were nice. However, upon arriving we were told that the tea in the entrance hall was free. While waiting an hour for the keys for our room (which you had to give to the reception when leaving for a walk) we drank two of the teas. On which we were asked rudely by the staff what we were doing there. Not only were we accused of stealing, but no interest was taken in communicating with us. If it was of shear lack of interest or the limited English skills of the staff present, is up to interpretation. When checking out of the hotel and asking to pay the two teas, which we were told were free, we were surprised to hear that we allegedly drank 3 teas, which again was a false accusation and from the side of the staff there was no interest in resolving the misunderstanding. To be clear, the few euros we had to pay are not the problem, but the feeling of disrespect and ignorance imposed by part of the staff.

Terrible. Receptionist are unkindly, they dont know what they do. One of reception is boy who wearing women clothes and did make up. Rooms are bigger in pictures than real life. There is no air in the rooms. If you open the window, you can listen the loud neighbors. Windows are old and not working well. Bathroom is ruined, dirty, scaly and moldy. There was a lot of bad face people. If you want good for you, you should go to other place! I cant say positive things about this place!

Terrible experience. We paid more than 150e per night (NYE prices) for 2 nights. Our room smelled like cleaning chemicals and the first morning we were unable to get the shower on a solid temperature. The manager came, confirmed the issue and said he would fix it. In the meantime took a cold shower in the comunal shower in the hallway. Next morning our water from both shower and sink were not running at all. Went and complained again. All they offered was a free breakfast. Staff was friendly yet did not offer any satisfying solution for this terrible experience. There were 2 more guests with the same problem. Only plus is that the location is well connected by public transport and after airing the room the bed slept comfy. Will never return here.

Staff is very friendly and nice but the rooms...Rooms are clean but you can hear everything that happens outside the room, there is no sound isolation at all. You share bathroom with one more room so sometimes u have to wait untill other person finishes. The bed is VERY SQUEAKY and the lock in the bathroom is impossible to turn. I don't know if u can get anything better for this price but I would try. Wifi is sooooooo sloooow as well. AND THERE IS BEDBUGS IN THE ROOM!!!

A decent hotel for a good price. Triple room for three people for 2 days, £60. Not a bad price at all. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. It’s in a good location too, the old town is very accessible via uber/public transport. All signs being in multiple languages too was nice and made the experience better. Overall not a bad place to stay for a few days

Really clean and pleasant hotel. The hotel is open 24/7 with reception always present. Room was neat and contained all facilities needed. Free tea at the bar and other drinks for a reasonable price. Fresh towels everyday if you put the cleaning card at your door. Nice warm shower and comfy bed. The hotel is situated only 3 min walk away from a big tram station which enables transport to city centre every 5 minutes (15 min ride to centre). Easy transport with the app "Pid litacka" where you can buy tram tickets with creditcard. Also every tram contains a computer where you can buy a ticket with your debit card/ google pay. 30 min ticket only for 30 czk (1,20 euro), 90 min for 40 czk, 24 h ticket for 120 czk and 72 h ticket for 330 czk. Would definitely recommend if you dont mind public transportation and moreover a much cheaper stay in Prague. Also, the 24h and 72h tickets can also be used for the tram to go up the mountain where the tv tower is situated.

Very pleasent place to stay for a few days Prague. A no-nonsense hotel for a good price and a nice lobby to get some drinks, the personell are not very talkable but will do their job and get you a beer, as it should be. Only the breakfast was not very good, so you should get yourself some breakfast outside of the hotel. Also, pray everytime you step in the elevator you will make it..

Poor hotel, doesn’t even look like a hotel , kinda hostel with private room and shared poor bathroom. Hopeless internet speed . Unbelievable, Prague is very nice in some ways and very ugly and poor in other ways.

The prices and localization are the only good things. Rooms are awful, small, the bathroom have broken sinks and are old, the doors are not sound proof, but the hotel is quite clean.

This Hotel is good enough for sleeping and relaxing. We didn’t stay there the whole day, we just slept there one night but it went well.

We stayed here during our summer trip and it is not the best option for twin sharing. The beds were simply too low and the room was extremely small. The receptionist also did not seem to be kind or caring. Would not recommend it to anyone unless you are looking to save a few bucks.

Horrible, smelly dirty hotel, different from pics no support I received from booking.com Everything was aweful, the room that we have booked(triple room) was different in pictures. I booked for 2 adults and 2 kids. In the pictures there were 4 beds but the room they gave us had 3 beds. The Hotel's stuff were very rude and not helpful. They were used to say not to every requests. The rooms didn't have TV (while in the pictue it was)!!! No safty box No refrigrator (we didn't have cool water for the night!!!) The room's key should be delivered to reception whenever you wanted to leave the hotel which was strange and not convenient for me. The breakfast was nothing. very bad quality. The coffe machine produce something except the coffee. There was a very bad smell in all the hotels, rooms and specially in the breakfast room. I won't recoment this hotel at all. I called booking support and told everithing but no support was provided except you arleady payed and have to stay .

Not bad if you want to rough a night for a cheap price. Cleanliness is a issue: the spider web in the corner of the sealing couldn't catch up all sort of flying insects we found in the room. Breakfast was standard good but overpriced in my opinion. If you don't mind the above mentioned it will be a great value for money choice.

Probably my favorite hotel for quick stays, it's not a luxury but the hotel is always very clean, you have everything that you could possibly want in a hotel room, price is very fair - value of what you get for that price is almost incomparable to any other hotels in Prague, staff has always been nice and of top of that If you order a breakfast, you get 2 "mom-like-made" sandwiches.

  • 3/5 Dark D. 2 years ago on Google
It was ok, nice breakfast. But very noisy on rooms: you can hear somedy usuing the toilet.

  • 5/5 Ash R. 3 years ago on Google
Friendly staff, decent room, decent bathroom, shower temperature fluctuates though , decent bed(for the soldier inside us all) , needs 2 or 3 more pillows though. The TV is good but if you don't speak Czech, then there is always YouTube from the good WiFi connection, but you have to reset it every now and then.. I will have breakfast tomorrow morning and see how that goes, to be honest, I am hoping for many many parky.. 🤞😉😬😅🙏

Affordable place that could use some improvements. Cons: Even for this price, the room was too small. Not cruical but still. Pillow was very bad, I had to fold it twice to be decent. There were many pigeions at the window making noise. Pros: Bathroom was great! Staff is nice, there was breakfast included. Close to tram station.

worst hotel..had the worst experience ever They gave us rooftop 5th floor room whose washroom is too small to compare with a train toilet and the smell is irresistible. The warm water was also not coming in sink which we reported as soon as we entered the room but they have not done anything Also, when my partner go for bath the water got stopped, I rushed into the reception but they said we cannot do anything you have to wait for 1 hr till their manager came. I would not recommend anyone to go for this cheap hotel.

Very poor, check in was a very long process and there was a surprise deposit of €50. The lift is so bad I felt like it was going to break everytime I use it but I was on the 4th floor so it was mostly essential. The beds were not comfy, and the ensuite shower room stank of old cigarettes (I do not smoke). I asked if i could turn the heating on but i was given an electric heater on as they are not willing to turn on central heating. The hotel felt very low quality in general and the bed linen had hairs in it that weren't mine. Overall very bad. Do not recommend.

My girlfriend and I stayed for a weekend. I honestly feel disappointed with the structure of the hotel. They didn't have a functional heater and it was pretty cold. The water flux was horrible to take a shower. We needed to pay a deposit of 1000 CZK. And the place didn't have the best smell. The elevator was weird... it looks to be a "communist experience hotel".

36€ for one double-room with shared bathroom The location is ok. It’s 5 min walk to some tram stations and a railway station. The facility was a bit antique. My room was small, only ca. 5 square meters. There was a hall separating two rooms and the shared bathroom. It acted as a resonance box, so any sound were amplified there. The bathroom didn’t look dirty but it had intense musty smell. Plus, the toilet water was very muddy probably due to the rusty pipelines.

Actually a nice mini hotel. Bring your own kettle and youll be great. Also if you can, bring your own shower head!!!! Theirs is crazy. U get little bags of shampoo and a soap bar. Reception is always open, nice young people. Tram 11,14 stops next to the hotel in the tramstation Horky. Train is also nearby. Recommended to try the warm dishes in the breakfast. The general breakfast stuff are otherwise standard, some cheese ham and bread and salad. No complaints. The breakfast room is loud so try to come at a quiet time(not with teenage girls groups). Nice for families too, homely and spacious. They have nice plants there. You may only smoke outside. At least, when we came it smelled like cigarettes in the hall and in the hole in the shower. We never tried to smoke inside however, cause its rude and u get a fine. They even let us leave the suitcases for another day after checking out, and overlooked when we came back from hiking (cesky kras) all gross and had a small paper towel shower in the toilet before heading back home. U can also buy drinks there for not too expensive and play board games in the lobby.

You have to share the bathroom with strangers from the next room! The rooms are too tight, bathroom looks terrible. The recepcionist was a little phlegmatic, and didnt where we could find a secured parking area.

I requested a date change to the hotel because I made a reservation for the wrong date. They said we should cancel our hotel reservation. There was a misunderstanding and we accidentally canceled it completely. This resulted in a complete waste of our money. First they told us that they could make our reservation again for 30 euro. When we asked if they could do it more appropriately because we were Erasmus students and we were victims, they said we couldn't. So, it was our only chance to pay 30 euros and stay, so we wrote for it again. This time they said they couldn't do it either. In short, our 45 euros were completely wasted. I definitely do not recommend.

The quality of the stay will really depend on your room. I had a shared bathroom and hall one time, which was fine. Another time here, I had my own room, which was actually lovely. Then on my most recent stay, I had my own room on the ground floor, which was really noisy and this was made worse by staff playing really loud music at 8:00am.

  • 3/5 Sumedha M. 1 year ago on Google
There was not any noise at night as I had read in the comments before booking. The room was fine, clean. The breakfast had very little options and I didn't eat almost anything all the 5 days for the breakfast.

  • 1/5 Aya El A. 1 year ago on Google
The rooms are way too hot as there are no air-conditioning. The staff are all basically kids. It seems very unprofessional. The worst part of the stay here is the absolut lack of respect for other people. All the other guests were extremely noisy all night long, making it impossible to get any sleep. It affected the whole vacation, as we were too tired to explore the city properly, due to the lack of sleep.. will never come back.

We stayed in the hotel between 24 Oct to 27 Oct while in Prague and it was very comfortable stay. The room was cozy and the staff was helpful. We enjoyed the stay. The hotel is located in the good neighbourhood and about 3-4 km from The Old Town Square. They serve a simple yet enjoyable breakfast. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for value for money. The hotel has few good restaurants are located around.
