Hierher kommt man gerne zurück. Prag von seiner besten Seite

Everytime I visit Prague, I will come to this hidden gem. Why, apart from the idyllic setting? Their pie is the best!

If you are planning a quiet, romantic trip to Prague, then you must stay here! The rooms are cozy, well decorated, and the included breakfast is very substantial. It is about a ten minute walk from the Castle complex. The host, Mr. Paul is a warm host and the entire staff are friendly and efficient. Paying in cash seems to invite a great discount! I will be back for sure! Great job Hotel U Raka!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Raka. The Paul family and staff (Magda) were hospitable and caring. This was our second stay and it could not have been better. Thank you Alexander , Aneta and there staff!!!

This very beautiful gem is the most lovely hotel you can find in Prague, situated in the Novysvet neighbourhood where peace and quietness still rule. It seems the countryside but you are only at a little distance from Prague's historical centre. Very friendly and helpful staff. Best scrambled eggs ever; thank you Magda.

We enjoyed three nights at this incredible restored historic building. It was such a relief at the end of a busy day to return to a quiet spot to rest. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast, which included some local home baked delicacies, and the tranquil private garden.

Extremely rude owner. Please be careful. We had to cancel our plans due to unforeseen circumstances. I duly informed the owner almost 3 weeks in advance and I get this message from him: 'Please don't bother to book with us next time'. Well you know what ? I most definitely won't, nor will I recommend your place to my acquaintances. I'm sure thae owner doesn't care for my business but it sets a very bad taste in the mouth.

Mr. Paul was a very nice host! He accepted our stay with a little child and even gave us a bigger room. The hotel itself is very lovely decorated, the breakfast was very tasty and also the staff was very kind (even tough we had some language difficulties :) ). So thanks again Mr. Paul! For us it was the perfect holiday in Prague.

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND CONQUERING PLACE I HAVE KNOWN. Its owners are wonderful people. We arrived and they treated us as if we were in our own house. A delicious breakfast in the room, despite the early hours in which we booked it. The best money drawer spent, no doubt. We will repeat for sure, and we advise anyone who does not miss the opportunity to sleep in a place like this hotel, get lost in its surrounding streets. Thank you very much

We just stopped at the cafe, but it was enough to grasp the wonderful and exceptional atmosphere of the whole place. First thing you see from outside is a modest wooden building with a signboard. You need to ring the bell to get in. What greets you is beautiful, cosy interior, full of small and bigger trinkets on many shelves and a fireplace in the center. Menu is quite big for such a small cafe, but we only ordered apple pie, which was delicious, and mulled wine prepared with oranges and nuts! The waitress is great, we had a good talk in English and she gave us some recommendations on what places to visit nearby. It's a hidden place, easy to miss, but step off the main track - it's worth it.

I went there with friends almost by chance, after enjoying the Castel of Prague. We were welcomed warmly on two of the three tables inside. The lady who greeted us prepared every dish with her own hands, and they were all wonderful, from the plating, to the quality of the ingredients, to the final taste. Also, the dishes were plentiful but not exaggerated, everyone was happy after finishing! While waiting I explored the room, full of different objects, a lit fireplace, and a cuckoo that played with joy every half an hour. This lunch was an experience, and that is for sure a place to come back. Also, the dishes were not expensive, and I recommend to try the wines, since other people came only for those.

This place was straight out of a fairy tale! My favourite hotel during my Bohemia road trip! The room and bathroom was very spacious and clean, the staff were very sweet and I had to talk with the owner about the history and what inspired him and shake his hand because the decor was movie worthy. This place is off the beaten path but so worth staying there. Enjoy coffee in the multi tier garden and spend time learning about the history of this plot. It is just dreamy!

I didn't stay here but this street is beloved by Czechs many Tourist aren't aware of this old building with a few cafes and a playground the way, and it's only a five minute walk from Prague Castle, and From what I've heard the hotel is quite nice.

We stopped for few drinks only, I can't say anything about accommodation. I think its good idea to stop by, we had nice wine and lavander limonade where I haven't seen anywhere else. This place has really special atmosphere and we were there almost alone.
