Visited at the Chocolate Museum and workshop with my family. The museum itself is very very boring, absolutely not suitable for kids. We finished it in 7 minutes. There are no explanations, no movies, nothing. The kids showed no interest at all. We payed over 60 Euro. In addition, we are 5 people, 2 parents and 3 children. It turns out, family ticket, only includes 2 children and you need to pay extra for another child. Moreover, even if you pay for a family ticket to the workshop, only the kids (2) are included, the parents can't do anything. So how is it family ticket? Very unhappy about this place.

Came here to redeem my hop-on-hop-off tickets. Staff were friendly and courteous. Although I was a little irritated to have to pay to use the restroom. I know this is typical in Europe but still seems pretty odd to me.

The shop is great. It is well laid out and merchandised but we were not impressed with the service or the prices to enter the museum. Intially we thought the museum might have promise but after inspecting things and talking with others we determined that the shop was the real highlight and there is no admission fee for it.

Not that big, but has a decent amount of interesting facts and detail about the history of chocolate. Make sure you keep the napkin from the start so you can restock as much chocolate as you want from the dispenser. Praline making was interesting and staff were friendly.

The Prague musee was not bad for a family of four under 6 free ticket cost 890 krns approx £29. The museum is not very big and does not have that many celebrities.. I think madame Tassuds would be a better choice. The only way to improve this is give the ticket jointly with the chocolate museum then it would be a worth while visit. Overall I enjoyed the items they did have.

Interesting museum with exhibition divided by music instrument types. Many bizarre and beautiful instruments. My favorite is interactive electronic synthesizer exhibition with a guide that shows what’s what.

(Translated by Google) The museum was really great. It is only one floor and therefore not so exhausting. You can try out a few new instruments, of course I would have loved to try out the historical instruments. Admission is completely okay with 120 crowns.

It's nice if you have children and you need to take a break from walking. Good to see it once. Not as large as other wax museums in Europe.

Nice museum, it is a little pricey but it worth to visit for one time. In 3floors and each floor there are wax figures. Toilet & elevator are available. Cool and good choice to go and visit on summer time. Not very crowded and easy to visit and take photos. In the central part of touristic area.

Great place for everyone and perfect if the weather isn't good. You'll need a good few hours to get through it all. The best deal is to do both the waxworks and chocolate museum together as you'll get the second at a heavily discounted price. Don't forget to save your entrance ticket to receive a 10% discount in the chocolate and souvenir shop! Lots of photo opps with props and a chocolate making workshop.

One of my favourite places in Prague. Some of the best chocolate I have ever eaten and I even came here every day even though it was a 30 minute walk from my hotel just to get a bar of chocolate. I will never forget how tasty it was and will be popping back in should I return to Prague.

Very easy to locate, everyone was helpful and the museum itself was really cool and informative! I learned so much about cocoa and chocolate history! My family really enjoyed the praline demonstration, Ben was so friendly and spoke perfect English. He was very engaging and funny! Whether you have kids or not, this is a really fun experience and I highly recommend checking it out!

(Translated by Google) I went to the museum for a long time. I only got there today - I only had a chocolate museum planned for the floods, but why don't the two catch up when they're in the same building. Upon arrival, the young lady welcomed us in a nice tone (maybe even a smile, but it was not visible through the veil). I want to praise the young lady - she has lured her more to the whole museum. We fully enjoyed the museum of both chocolate and wax figures, as I liked the whole design. After the show, we also visited a store on recommendation, where we of course bought souvenirs in the form of chocolate. The lady who served us was also very nice, they informed us about the ongoing events. Thank you for making the day more pleasant - I definitely recommend it!

My family visited the chocolate division of this museum, and we were very impressed by the quality of the exhibits. They are captivating for all ages while also serving an educational purpose. My favorite was the detialed replica of a 1970s Czech general store, not to mention the wax statues of famous Czech personalities. The one major disappointment is the treatment of conquistadors versus the Indigenous cultures of Central America. The Spanish conquerors are presented as civilized, whereas the visitor is introduced to Aztecs via a violent scene of human sacrifice with two wax figures. I would welcome a more balanced presentation of these historical groups. Overall, the multi-sensory experience of chocolate’s history was very memorable.

(Translated by Google) The chocolate exhibition is great, there are clear and interesting descriptions, you will learn a lot of interesting things not only about chocolate. I would certainly appreciate if the exhibition was more extensive. But a few inaccuracies would be found here ... for example Louis XIV. he really didn't end up under the guillotine :) (Original) Expozice čokolády je parádní, jsou zde přehledné a zajímavé popisky, dozvíte se spoustu zajímavých věcí nejen ohledně čokolády. Klidně bych uvítala, kdyby byla expozice rozsáhlejší. Pár nepřesností by se tu ale našlo..například Ludvík XIV. opravdu neskončil pod gilotinou :)

This was actually far more interesting than I expected. It isnt a massive place and wont take too long to go round but its well worth it. The building itself is really lovely and the exhibits are many and varied. There are lots of beautiful old instruments, lots of strange instruments you have never heard of and the option to play a few and listen to recordings of most. I wpuld have like to see more paintings/photography of music through the ages and a few of the listening posts have obviously been used to death and where not working but anyone with even a passing interest in music will enjoy this i think.

Excellent museum for music lovers and for the ones interested in different kinds of instruments and their history, is a very complete place to spend a couple of hours and to listen to their original sound in the earphones, there is currently an extra which is another exhibition about the relation between music and literature, very interesting and friendly

Such a wonderful museum! A pure pearl in the heart of Prague we discovered on the last day of our visit! The museum is not overloaded with exhibits, but each of them is a priceless peace of art, from both musical and visual point of view. You can find the instruments on which Mozart and Liszt played during their visits to Prague. Moreover, this is one of a very few museums I have personally visited where you can play on some musical instruments, such as piano, harp, mini-organ and drums. So if you are interested in music or you like to play on instruments from time to time, it would be a great chance to both educate yourself and have a bit of fun. The workers are nice and always ready to help. International students can also buy a ticket with a reduced price. I highly recommend to visit this museum. It deserves more attention and appreciations from tourists.

(Translated by Google) Very cool and interactive. The classic instruments again and again with audio samples and opportunities to try them out. The special exhibition on music between the Prague spring and the turning point brought fascinating insights into the everyday culture of real socialism. Really exciting. A small wax museum by world standards but with the added attraction of the story of chocolate. The kids enjoyed photos with the life sized personalities as well as tasting some chocolate samples. A good escape from the august midday sun.

The place has been relocated and is smaller due to Covid. I would recommend the extra dark truffle

Fun place to go to, every exhibition is connect to one another in nicely done way. If u go to chocolate making mini course then you're gonna get some discount to museum and both activities are fun. I would recommend to go early when tourist groups are not there yet so you can enjoy everything in peace + only then u can go to mini chocolate making course, because rest is booked. Overall I'm happy with the experience.
