I have been looking for a decent gym without any stupid join fees for ages so I am super excited about this place. Maybe it is because it feels much more like a club of people that like to see each other and work out with each other than a standart gym full of pretencious so called proffesionals. Yes, they could definitely work on some more space and more organized system in the locker room as it gets very crowded during rush hours but that is the only disadvantage. The training sessions are a huge benefit to me personally as I hate wandering around the machines and waiting to them to be not occupied. The traineers seem to know what they are doing and tend to be very helpful. So far, so good.

I have been going here for the last few years, good and cozy place with nice trainers and owner. However AC is not turned on in the summer, at least in 2022 which makes it very hard to train, especially when it’s super hot. People are sweating a lot and I believe it’s not helping pushing my training forward as good as I wanted. I hope owner sees this and maybe will put AC on. I have put 5 stars as it is a very good place still, but thinking to move to another gym just until this heat is over.

I really tried to like this gym but after visiting it several times I have to settle with 3 stars. My biggest issues with this gym are cheap and very worn out barbells, some of which have weird markings that do not match IPF or IWF standards. Some barbells are outright broken. Very limited selection of specialty bars. There is only one dedicated deadlifting platform hidden in the back room. There’s a rubber floor in the free weight area but it’s really uneven and not optimal for deadlifts. Plates are all over the place and there’s too few bumper plates. It really becomes a struggle to find another plate when there’s 2-3 people deadlifting or squatting heavy. On the upside the machine selection is nice. But since I train with barbells 80% of the time, it’s of little use to me.

Not your average commercial gym. This one's for those who came to lift or train for combat sports. One of the best in Prague.
