Nuce gallery with very friendly and helpful stuff. Free with no admission, at least at the moment of writing this review. Few halls with paintings, installation art, video art, sculptures. A combination of recent art and art from the second half of the 20th century. If you are in the city, visit for sure. It is definitely away from tourists who are here just for the tourist traps. This gallery is peaceful. Wardrobe is also free which is great.

Rudolfinum Gallery is a true gem in the heart of Prague. The exhibitions are always curated with thought and care, showcasing a diverse range of artists and styles. The gallery itself is beautifully designed and maintained, providing an excellent space to appreciate and reflect on the art. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a seasoned art enthusiast or simply appreciate beauty and creativity, Rudolfinum Gallery is a must-visit destination in Prague.

A modern art gallery accessible within the same building as the Rudolfinum The gallery is free, with a cloakroom that is also free. Different modern art pieces are exhibited here and can be viewed. The staff are friendly and very helpful and the nearby café is reasonable as well.

It was an interactive experience. The staff are nice and will accommodate you in case you have questions. Just make sure to turn off your flash since there are sensitive artpieces. The best thing was that the exhibition is free until January 2024.

Visited during the "fragilités" exhibition. I enjoyed the curated art works. They were able to convey the main topic of the exhibit. Being in biomedical field, I particularly like Luboš Plný's works. The building is pretty.

I was surprised to hear the exhibition was free upon entry. Immediately within the entry atrium hall there were a number of grand sized metal eagle head fabrication copies of the ones adorning the empire state building in NYC, randomly placed around the interior. There were no descriptions or plaques but the exhibition artist's name appeared within one of them. A backstory would be nice. The exhibitions spanned a number of rooms and were large scale conceptual art. A bit out there for my taste. Nevertheless a good experience. A large number of security personnel throughout, one per every exhibition room, none of whom spoke English. Understandably since Czech republic has the least number of bilingual speakers. I appreciated the interesting but short visit.

I went to the free art exhibit in this gallery. It was hard to find because the entrance is on the side of the building facing the river, but the staff was kind and helpful in guiding me. The sound exhibit was small but cool, there were people napping in the exhibit room because it was so peaceful, which was amazing.

Perfect choice of you're looking for surprising exhibition without many visitors. Two main qualities of all expositions are: - Thanks to Avast Foundation the ticket is free of charge - the exhibition area isn't extensive, si you can go through within one hour and you don't feel like you run through too fast.

Amazing place! :) The Rudolfinum is a must see part of the Prague. It is where the concerts are held. The architecture of the building is splendid not only from the outside but also from the inside. There is a gallery inside which is beautiful as well. I would definitely recommend a visit here if you visit Prague.

A beautiful gallery with very helpful staff! The floors are very creaky which takes away a lot of ambiance, but nothing can be done about that. Try to go when it won't be busy for the full effect of any exhibit!

Some quite rude employee did not let us in (“musíte ven!”) without ANY explanations and closed the doors behind us even though the gallery was supposed to be working for another 40 minutes according to declared working hours. If it was closed that day, at least the employee could behave in a more polite way and nicely explain it.

Beautiful historical building. Currently hosting the “Nervous Trees” exhibit a little strange but it’s free and something nice to check out on a cold or rainy day!

I went to the Void exhibition, staff very kindly explained at the start how to walk through the installations. Only downside is that I didn’t find an English leaflet to explain the artwork. A plus was that I was able to leave my suitcase in the cloakroom for free.

Just passed by the building, looking from outside also feel great, can’t imagine how great will be inside the building!

Thought we would pop in to have a walk through the art gallery as it is free. We entered the building from the giant steps at the front and walked through, trying to find the exhibition. We were then confronted by a very rude man telling me to get out, it's not a public area etc, and audibly sighed when I told him we were just looking for the gallery. We left immediately.

Free entry to a magnificent building. If you don't like the "art" inside at least the building can be definitely enjoyed for what is. Worth to check out in Prague!

We went to an excellent free exhibition here! Check the website for up to date info. Free (compulsory) cloakroom and friendly staff. Cafe on site but we didn't try it.

It's beautiful, I'm talking about the building it self and inside decorations. They have various changing exhibitions, but if you go straight on the staircase instead of up (to the exhibition part) you will get in to small exhibition about art, like what is cubism, symbolism and etc, oriented for kids and teenagers i would say.

Usually has amazing exhibitions and the building itself is amazing. Despite that, we’ve felt like something was missing or it wasnt enough. If you have time to spare, consider visiting.

Beautiful building with distinct art exhibitions. It's for free and has a beautiful "Vienna"-style Café inside, so there is no reason for you not to go.
