    DO NOT GO TO HERE UNLESS IT IS YOUR ONLY OPTION. DON'T GET SICK IN PRAGUE. Do I have to be losing my consciousness to be taken seriously? The worst treatment & behaviour I have received. I had a returning flight to Prague recently, and I started to feel quite sick. I had sore throat, dry cough, chest pain, mild fever (38.8), and my whole body was aching. I took the cold/fly medicine I had at home. (I'm a med student) However, my symptoms got much worse; I wasn't able to breathe properly (no nasal congestion) because my lungs were hurting and I started to feel dizzy as my fever was raising higher. So, I went for emergency even though I knew "flu" (what my symptoms were similar to) is not an emergency case but I didn't know what exactly I had. I was so desperate to seek help from anyone. Guess what did they say? "The emergency works after 6PM." Ffs, i dont know about the others but in my country, emergency treatment means they should be able to treat you 24/7! I even asked if I could go somewhere else, another hospital with emergency but they didn't help at all except saying no. Sadder part was the fact that they were mediocre English speakers, so there was no language barrier. It was pure rudeness, arrogance and no sympathy. I was in pain. I felt like I was going to faint but nobody cared in the hospital and acted so arrogant as if I was just a cry baby. I live alone so, it was quite scary for me because nobody could bring me or notice that I was in a bad situation when my fever would reach to 41° or higher. I experienced it before, and I knew I wouldn't be able to go to hospital by myself.

    No complaint about medical stuff. They are kind and very professional as always, however woman at reception with red hair at that info point kiosk at entrance is very arrogant and rude not only to us but while i was waiting there same behavior with all other patients.

    I cant believe what I have just experienced! I went with my boyfriend to the emergency because for one week He was sick and this day he was having problem breathing. There was one lady for security - that nicest person I have met in Czech - that she was always trying to help, but the doctors and nurses just do not felt interested. Without a diagnosis and even an analysis nurse Pavlovsky came rudely and said “ we are not going to help you because is not serious, come back tomorrow”. Why do you think I came to the emergency at 1AM? Because I was bored? I came with a health problem and was looking to be treated - right of every citizen of Czech Republic or with the European health insurance card. Never meet a hospital that treats people which such an arrogance and ignorance like today.

    awful experience, everyone was very mean, especially knowing how we don't speak czech. the people refused to speak english and made us wait for 40 mins for the check up to be made. very mean people, no one go here.

    Three absolute worst experiences ever. First time they brought me with stomach pain and dizziness at 3am there was no one in the waiting room yet they let me wait for 10 minutes before they even let me then they gave me medicine that didn't help at all and send me home with same pain. Second time again terrible pain (gallbladder stone) I was sitting in the room with doctors on wheel chair shaking from pain while they werw joking around ignoring me for like 20 minutes. Nurse told me I should stop shaking that it is only psychological. Third time I passed kidney stone, terrible pain I was waiting for three hours in the waiting room even though I came first other people who came later got their treatment earlier than me. I couldn't even sit. The doctor asked why i used ambulance and didn't use taxi making me feel guilty for even being in terrible pain...if I used taxi I would probably still sit there year later waiting. They didn't accept me on urology so I had to wait 4 hours on intern to get CT and then being send home after just like 30 mins later... I never lost so much faith in humanity as that day... after 7 hours of waiting they released me with antibiotics and terrible memories. Leaving old people laying without any communication or help for hours on bed without blankets or water or any care.... If you have a chance to go somewhere else always go somewhere else. They don't even deserve one star..

    The receptionist at the gynecology ward are bunch of racist and very rude. They behave like they are gods. They clearly hates foreigners, I hope the hospital get rid of them and bring friendlier staffs. They literally don’t know their jobs and act like Demi-gods. The doctors and nurses are actually very nice and professional but once you come across this front desk receptionist they leave you with a bad taste in the mouth.

At the reception, the girls wanted confirmation from me that I was sick. I failed a second time. I have the impression that this hospital is the property of the owner of the insurance company, and the nurses have the task of preventing patients from receiving treatment. An even earlier experience in Orl. I had a sore throat. The doctor said she didn't see anything there, which was logical. You can't see your neck from half a meter away. Then she said that it occurred to her that I had this from my stomach and she wrote me a recipe from my stomach .. Well, she just thought ... She studied for about 10 years .. So I paid for insurance for 15 years and what did I get? 3 times they removed the earplugs .. P. S. I am being treated in Ukraine. In the city of Lviv. 25.05.2020 I was examined on a mammogram without an order, after 5 MINUTES! Not months later, and after 5 minutes, a tumor sample was taken. Then the next days there was MRT, KT, sono, blood sampling, the results came from the laboratory, unfortunately badly. 5.06.2020 I had the first radiation session since mts in the brain. So 10 days. Is it possible with top medicine in the Czech Republic? No, it's fantastic for the Czechs. I sent messages to the proton center in Prague. He replied that it was too late. I sent all the reports and pictures to the general practitioner, because I still have to pay compulsory insurance in the Czech Republic, I have a permanent residence. It turned out that she didn't even open emails ... Czechs, go get treatment in Ukraine. Here you get healing much better and faster. And compassion and help from all sorts of ordinary people. I can't imagine what I experienced in VN in the Lviv Oncocentre. And in terms of professionalism and approach, not at all. Thank God we don't have compulsory insurance yet. I hope that my money for 16 years of insurance in the Czech Republic helped at least 1 Czech, I think 1 woman to do a mammogram examination on time. P. P. S. (Original) Včera na neurologiji tmavě tváří sestra půl hodiny na mě nadávala a ještě půl hodiny mě pomlouvala v sesterne. Přišla jsem s akutní bolesti hlavy, sestra a pak doktor mi řekly ať se jedu léčit na Ukrajině tam přece taky je pojištění. Mám onkologii, poradil mi ať si koupím ibalgin. Když jsem řekla že ibalgin ne zabírá, tak můžu si koupit Paralen. Na toto bylo třeba studovat univerzitu? Pacienti leží na chodbě,, sestry všechny v sesterne si povídají a pomlouvaji, doktor nikde. To je práce. Pan který ležel na chodbě jen prosil aby ho ne shodily na podlahu jak posledně protože si ulomil ruku. Na onkologii jsem se nedostala, i přesto že jsem měla zadanku. Na recepci po mně chtěly holky potvrzení že jsem nemocná. Neuspěla jsem i podruhé. Mám dojem, že tahle nemocnice je majetkem majitele pojišťovny, a sestřičky mají za úkol zabránit pacientům v léčení. Ještě dřívější zkušenost na Orl. Měla jsem potíže v krku. Slečna doktorka řekla že nic tam ne vidí, což bylo logicky. Do krku z půl metru vzdálenosti se nevidí. Pak řekla že ji napadlo, že toto mám od žaludku a napsala mi recept od žaludku.. No prostě jí napadlo... Studovala asi 10 let.. Takže 15 let platila jsem pojištění a co jsem dostala? 3krat mi vyndaly špunty z uši.. P. S. Léčím se na Ukrajině. Ve městě Lvov. 25.05.2020 jsem bez objednání byla vyšetřena na mamografu, po 5 MINUTACH! Ne měsících, a po 5 minutách byl odebrán vzorek nádorů. Pak další dny bylo MRT, KT, sono, odběry krve, přišly výsledky z laboratoře, bohužel špatně. 5.06.2020 jsem měla první seance ozařování, jelikož mts v mozek. Takže 10 dnů. Je to možné se špičkovou medicínou v ČR? Ne, pro Češi je to fantastika. Posílala jsem zprávy v protonove centrum v Praze. Odepsal, že už pozdě. Posílala jsem všechny zprávy a snímky praktické doktorce, protože pořád musím platit povinné pojištění v ČR, mám trvalý pobyt. Ukázalo se, že ona ani ne otevirala emaily... Češi, jeďte se léčit na Ukrajině. Tady dostanete léčení mnohem lepší a rychlejší. A ještě soucit a pomoc všelijakou od obyčejnych lidí. To, co jsem zažila ve VN nedovedu si představit ve Lvovskem onkocentru. A co se týče profesionality a přístupu, to už vůbec. Diky bohu že zatím nemáme povinné pojištění. Doufám že moje peníze za 16 let pojištění v ČR pomohly aspoň 1 Česce, myslím 1 ženě udělat vyšetření na mamografu včas. P. P. S. Průměrný plat onkologa v Ukrajině kolem 10 tisíc korun. Za měsíc.

    Worst Hospital I have ever been to. Talk about the scariest 48 hours of my life, dealing with these people is like dealing with prison guards. No joke, whatever you do. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL. They are known for doing ILLEGAL practices. Do not have children here, it is the scariest experience of your life and they will not allow fathers to be with the mothers nor children. Extremely communist in their ways. BE CAREFUL friends!!!

Komplexní centrum pro léčbu spasticity - katastrofa, naprosto neempatická lékařka Barbora Klusoňová, která pacienta nevyšetří pouze kopíruje předešlé zprávy a přehazazuje péči na rodinu pacienta a internet. A MUDr. Vaško, který pacientovi s neléčitelnou nemocí vypráví jak nemaj personál a peníze a pošle ho domů. Nejotřesnější zážitek, který trval měsíc a půl. Málková (šedivé vlasy v drdolu) naprosto nepříjemná,arogantní chování absolutně nemá soucit a lidmi. V čekárně nikdo nebyl a čekal jsem s maminkou dvě hodiny na zprávu. Pan profesor MUDR. Krbec je zřejmě naprosto neschopný,že při tolika stížnostech není schopný si udělat na klinice pořádek. Nedá se naprosto srovnat vstřícné chování personálu IKEM, MALVAZINKY, MOTOL.. Snad Prof.Arenberger jako nový ředitel bude brát větší důraz na ochotu, pracovní morálku personálu, než se jenom prezentovat v televizi.

    Terrible organization. Basically no English available. Extremely Rude nurses and rude doctors, seems to be because I’m not native born full blooded czech. Appeared to be janitors or parking attendants working at the reception to direct people to emergency department etc. just go to motol. Or get in a time capsule and go back to 1950s Czech Republic. Be prepared to wait a long time in any department emergency or speciality.

So thank you but I'm here already n never. :) (Original) Strašný,dneska jsem byla objednaná na sono štítné žlázy,po přichodu mě poslali na kartotéce úplně někam jinam,to ještě pochopim.Před měsícem jsem se dovolala na jejich oddělení s tim ,že mám žádanku od doktorky a jestli mohu přijít.Bylo mi řečeno že ne ,že se musím objednat a že žádanku nepotřebujou.Čekala jsem měsíc než jsem teda se dostala na termín vyšetření.Poté co sedim v čekárně,po půl hodině vyleze sestra a chce žádanku,řikám že mi bylo řečeno že žádanku nepotřebuju.Vytáhla jsem teda žádanku(kterou jsem podle paní se kterou jsem mluvila po telefonu, byla k ničemu).Po 5 minutách,vyleze sestra a řekne že na žádance nemám napsané na jaké vyšetření jdu.To už jsem začala pěnit.Slušně jsem ji řekla,že jsem se objednala na sono štítné žlázy,odpověděla mi že to tam nemám napsané tudíž mě nevyšetří a že je to chyba lékaře,který mi žádanku vypisoval.Takže přístup strašnej,ochota nulová.Šla jsem domů ,bez vyšetření na které jsem čekala měsíc a neuvěřitelně nas*ana.Takže děkuju ale sem už nikdy . :)

(Original) Moje zkušenosti s touto nemocnici jsou jenom kladné , nejenom , ze všichni jsou tady milý , ale odvádějí svoji práci tak já mají a rozhodne vás neodbydou, byla jsem zde třeba na operaci na gynekologii a největší díky patří panu Profesorovi Robovi a Martinovi Hrudovi , který me operoval , samozřejmě velké díky patří i celému týmu ! Sestricky jsou mile a všichni tady mají lidsky přístup . Nebyla jsem zde poprvé a opravdu už jinam nejdu. Já tedy muzu jenom doporučit !!

It's January 2021, I'm calling and asking where the results are. The lady said on the phone that they never send any results by post to anyone and that I should pick them up in person. The hospital is big and if you get lost there and ask the staff where and how to get there, definitely don't expect any decent behavior. Rough shouting is perhaps the order of the day. (Original) Nejhorší nemocnice snad v celé ČR!!! Dermatologie - nedá se tam dovolat a když už tak mluví s pacientem jako s kusem výkalu. Hrubě, nedivila bych se i kdyby to bylo sprostě. Jednou řeknou, že výsledky budou za týden. Volám za týden - výsledky samozřejmě nejsou, protože mají tam jiný system. A že se mám ozvat za týden. Jistě ani po tom dalším týdnu výsledky nejsou, protože je jiná paní doktorka. Výsledky byly ve stejný den, a to po tom, co jsem kontaktovala pana primáře. Magnetická resonance - v říjnu mi bylo řečeno, že výsledky pošlou poštou během dvou týdnů. V listopadu mi bylo řečeno, že výsledky jsou poslány. Je leden 2021 volám a ptám se kde jsou výsledky. Paní do telefonu řekla, že nikdy nikomu žádné výsledky neposílají poštou a že si je mám vyzvednout osobně. Nemocnice je velká a pokud se tam ztratíte a budete se ptát personálu kam a jak se dostat, tak rozhodně nečekejte žádné slušné chování. Hrubé pokřikování je tam snad na denním pořádku.

    We arrived to FNKV at 5 am as my boyfriend was suffering with longterm and really strong belly aches. At first the nurse told us, that they maybe are a hospital and an emergency, but we should have gone somewhere else. After that she left us wandering around the waiting room - at that point my bf was having such a strong pains he wasn’t even able to sit down. After that we spent another 4 hours full of waiting (for a doctor, for tests results, for them to change ppl from night to day shift and also for them to stop laughing - we heard a couple times a lively conversation from the doctor office while suffering out in the hall) however, we weren’t in such a happy mood as them, because the doctor forgot to give us a receipt for painkillers. We had to tell 3 ppl about it and wait another 40 mins for them to print out a piece of paper. After that we went home with painkillers but as they weren’t able to say, what is the problem, we are now just blindly waiting, when the pains will grow worse and we will have to seek medical advice again.

    I came to the hospital at 5:40 with a terrible pain in my chest, till 7:10 I was the only person sitting in the waiting room and nobody did nothing. Even though, the hospital started to open, I saw more and more doctors and nurses coming, nobody came and helped, when I was crying there in pain. I went to the nurse to ask one more time, if I'm going to get help. She answered me the most aggressively that the doctor will call me. The best I could do, is to go to another hospital. I just lost my time and struggled in pain in this awful place with the most unrespectfull nurses!

    Does not even deserve 1 star. Took me 5 months to get appointment for my daughter from MUDr. Renáta Brunnerová. She doesn't reply to her emails, she doesn't pick up her calls. When finally I put all doctors in cc in one email, she replied. Now since the first appointment (30 days ago) I am trying to get the follow up appointment but same dilemma - she doesn't reply to my emails, nor takes the call and we can't just go as per their website! If I wasn't desperate for the pain my daughter suffers I would never even go to them! Shameful attitude coming from doctors!

    I had a stroke and I had the best care possible, I had three doctors and a physical therapist each was kind and professional. I was without czech insurance and after seven days of treatment, I was worried sick about the cost relating it to the US, but the doctors calmed me but I paid 2300 dollars (normal charge). It was a very positive experience. Very good medical care.

    The facilities are heavily dated and run down looking but I received fantastic medical care and treatment without an appointment from a doctor who spoke pretty good English minutes after arriving (and it was not an emergency situation). The cost was VERY reasonable as well. I also filled a prescription at the pharmacy and received good service there too.

ORL pohotovost zavřená-COVID, Interní klinika zavřená-COVID. Obyčejná pohotovost se prosím pěkně koná ve stavební buňce, čekárna=židle před stavební buňkou venku v zimě. O 90 Kč za pohotovost se samozřejmě nestydí si říct. A člověk z východu s velkým "i" jako infocentrum na boudě mi poradil, abych se s angínou šla radši domu vypotit než tady na pohotovost. Super, ty antibiotika si asi taky napíšu sama. Ráda bych dodala, že tato recenze se netýká konkrétních lékařů a zdravotnického personálu, už mi tady několikrát a vlastně i teď nakonec pomohli, organizace a informace pacientům však na bodu nula. Člověk, co přijede s akutním problémem a ve stavu nemoci, musí opravdu zatnout zuby, než přijde na řadu.

    Had impossible stomach ache when woke up at 1 a.m. and because I live close to this hospital, after 3 hours of suffering I decided to go there, because I just didn't know what to do. Was met by three doctors that i found and they assisted and provided help, I'm very grateful to them!

    Terrible hospital with rude and unhelpful staff. First went there with a medical emergency and got rudely told it wasn't valid (which verified by a later hospital that it certainly was) and then was referred back there for surgery, given a date, waited a month and turned up on the day of to be told that it was cancelled. No contact or anything. If you need medical advice please go to any other hospital than here.

    Terrible service. Most people working there (nurses and people doing desk jobs) don’t speak English and don’t seem to be willing to help non speaking Czech people. Also waiting times were extremely long. A shame of service for an European capital hospital, specially taking in consideration that a hospital is a place where the patient should feel safe and helped. If you don’t speak Czech, being attended at this hospital can easily turn into a really bad experience.

    The worst hospitalization I've ever had. Mean nurses, no one wants to help, one time I was yelling for help from 16:00 to 20:30 to only be said to shut up. BIG THUMBS DOWN

    Visited the hospital (dermatovenerology department emergency room) on Saturday. I was bitten by an insect (I had extensive swelling, severe itching and pus coming out of the bite). When I went to the nurse to get in line she even without looking at my leg said 'go to the pharmacy and buy yourself an ointment. I said that it was probably a tick bite, but she obviously did not care, absolutely indifferent to my problem, said that its not an urgent matter, come on Monday to ER!!! That's a disgusting attitude to people. Or maybe it's because I'm not Czech. Not recommended

    The worst hospital I have ever visited, the staff is thinking that they can figure what problems are important and which are not. They just thought I have nothing important to work with, so just said to visit another doctor. The next day morning another doctor said that I should have come earlier 🫠 I hope they will be treated like they treat other people!
