I’ve stayed at 5 hostels on my trip and this one was my favorite. It’s in a convenient location, it’s quiet, the rooms are spacious and the decor is pretty. It’s clean, modern and the beds are really comfy. Huge windows. And the BATHROOMS! The shower reminded me more of a luxury suite than a hostel, it was so spacious. The staff is friendly and the dining area is lovely. I’m sad to leave!

Really impressed with this hostel. It was pretty centrally located in Prague; about a 20 min walk to most things in Old Town, though you could often taken public transportation. The rooms were clean and big. I stayed in a 6 girl dorm with its own kitchen and bathroom, which was lovely. They had under-the-bed storage that you could lock (they provided locks for a small fee if you didn't bring one). They offered a breakfast each morning for I think like 200 Koruna, but I never took advantage of that. They also had a bar, but I didn't try that either. Overall, would highly recommend staying here for a cheap and centrally located place in Prague!

We had booked a stay at Sophie’s hostel two months in advance of our trip to Prague. Unfortunately, just days in advance of our trip they informed us that they were no longer going to be able to uphold our reservation. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing experience that completely messed up our plans in the city and left us hanging. Would not recommend due to how unreliable the staff is.

Went at the bar to get a beer during happy hour at 18:28 (still have my receipt with the time) happy hour is between 18 and 20. The big Indian girl charged me full price and handed me a beer filled with 50% foam. Then she started looking at me and could not stop laughing at me, her coworker also started laughing at me. It was so embarrassing and I felt quite humiliated. Avoid this place if you want to keep your dignity and be respected. Also the rooms are just a complete sauna and the kitchen is the size of a bathroom.

First time staying in a hostel, definitely would return. Cheap, easy to book, location is fantastic for exploring the lovely city of Prague. Friendly staff members. Storage with locks are available for personal items w/ cash deposit. Shared room w/ a friend and one stranger, no issues. No issues with guests in other rooms and shared bathroom. Excellent option for solo or small group travelers on a budget just looking for somewhere to sleep then explore.

I stayed here for four nights in July. The hostel honestly looks more like a boutique hotel than a hostel. This is nice sometimes but also means some amenities are a bit wrong for the clientele being served. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings and nice big windows. The top bunk beds were a bit hairy to get onto as the beds a pretty light and nearly felt like they would fall over. The bathroom situation was two showers and three toilets between 14 people on a floor. The bathrooms themselves were very very nice with big showers. This was great when there was only six people on my floor but once a group of eight arrived to make 14, it was just a bit too crowded. The bar downstairs was really nice. There was a big menu and a good atmosphere. The shared kitchen was tiny. It was one small kitchen shared between the entire hostel which meant it was really difficult to cook. Had this place been a boutique hotel for people not expecting to cook, this size kitchen would have made more sense but it just doesn't really for such a large hostel. The location was great. It is set off of a big street and so is quiet but central. There is also a lift which is nice and a bag storage facility for after check out.

I stayed here with a tour company so communication and pricing may have ended up being different than if I was traveling as an individual. As someone traveling in a tour group it was a horrible experience, with that being said some of the details/interactions could have been more on the tour company's responsibility. Pros: - Has 24/hr bar -Beds were comfortable -Although rooms were of 6, there was quite a bit of storage space for our belongings - Despite the confusion with check-in, I thought the employees handled it very professionally and sincerely - Walking distance to underground lines and trams Cons: - Little ventilation in the bathrooms, which led to mold on the walls - Checking in, there was some miscommunication between the company and hostel because they kept requesting more information from each of us that the tour guide thought they already had or didn't need - Lobby is very small if you are checking in with a large group at once - Menu prices weren't updated - Small elevator - The ladders on the bunkbeds are very narrow and some only had one side to it so one of the girls in my group hit their head on the rung of the ladder and bruised their head - Hair dryer wasn't very strong (I advise bringing your own)

I loved staying at this hostel! The staff was very good and elevated my stay in Prague by addressing all of my needs/questions and providing great recommendations. I also loved the different events hosted in this hostel which included language exchange and board/card game night. What was even better was that the game night was in conjunction with a local board/card game group in Prague, so I had the opportunity to meet other travelers and locals alike.

The staff was always super helpful and personable, and the room I was in was one of the nicest hostel rooms I've stayed in. The bathroom was clean, and there was even a little kitchen and sitting area. I was there in July, and the room did get hot, but it was definitely bearable. There was a larger luggage storage box under each bed as well, although you have to be careful because the lid to the storage is very heavy and can slam shut. Overall, this was a great hostel experience!

It was my first time staying in a hostel and the experience was very good! The rooms, bathrooms and common areas are very clean. The cocktails are cheap (during happy hour) and very good :) Moreover, the staff are very pleasant, I highly recommend it!

Like another review stated, this hostel feels more like a hotel, and is easily the best hostel I have stayed in throughout Europe. Friendly staff as well! I was in a 10 bed male room, and I came last so I got the worst bed in the middle with no charging port, so if you want to get a good spot, don’t come at 10pm lol.

Of the 8 hostels I’ve stayed at on this trip, this was the best one. The suite had a private restroom and kitchen which felt very luxurious. The area and building are also very quiet. Best sleep I had in days.

Good value hostel with an excellent atmosphere. I hadn't expected the hostel bar to be one of the highlights of my vacation, but it's definitely up there. Special thanks to Neha and to William for making me and my group feel at home.

We loved our stay at Sophie’s hostel! + very clean + big private bathrooms (not just cubicles) + good location in the new town + friendly staff - no aircon so very hot at night/in morning - no curtains on bunks for privacy

It is my best hostel where I’ve ever been. I stayed for 3 nights of females only room. There is even private kitchen for the room. To be honest, during staying at other hostels for female room, I’ve never seen they provide “private kitchen” with the guest for single room. here is the only hostel i think. Also the location is really close from metro station. It takes just 5 mins to go there from the starion on foot. it locates really safety area, so even if you travel alone(especially for woman), you can feel safety. I higly recommend solo traveler of woman. you also can make new friends here.

This hostel is amazing. It has gorgeous beds and doorms. The staff is amazing upgrading our room once for free and while waiting in the lobby handed us free donuts. Don't expect that, but it shows a great service. The only downside is that the kitchen is a bit small for that many guests and the prices fluctuate by the days quite a lot. Highly recommend the hostel. As improvements I suggest some board games on the social area.

Amazing hostel. I lived in a 5 bed mixed dorm and the rooms were super clean, the bathroom also was super neat and clean and the beds were super comfy. People at the reception are quite amazing and very helpful and have solution to every problem. The bar also was good and very cheap. You have a personal locker under your bed which is like super huge and easy to use. You can also get a lock for 100CZK refundable deposit. They also have a luggage room where you can keep your luggage after checkout for free. I also had brunch and they have amazing brunch…!!! It was an amazing stay at Sophie’s for 3 days..!!!! Kudos to the team for making my stay comfortable.

A perfect balance between hostel and hotel. Our private room was very luxurious and cleaned every day, although a little warm at times and hard to ventilate. The personnel is fun and lay back. Bartender Neha even took me out clubbing and it was the best!

All thanks to Neha for being such a sweetheart and taking care of our needs and making the journey memorable.Cheers to our conversations. It was an absolute fun with you. Would definitely recommend.

I booked a room several months in advance. Two days before my stay, I was informed I was being moved to another hostel. The other hostel was unclean, didn’t honor what we had originally requested, and was in a worse location. I would advise booking with another hostel that can honor their bookings.

This hostel feels like a hotel! We rented a private room with five beds (party of four). Great amenities, staff super friendly, breakfast was delicious, super close to the center of the city and all touristic places. Hopefully I'll be able to go back to Prague and stay here!

Amazing hostel, the staff is very nice, the bar is really comfy and welcoming! The breakfast is really good, even though it is not included, you get a lot of food for a VERY reasonable price. The facilities are modern and clean! Our room had wooden floor which was a bit noisy but I didn't mind since the rest was so good! The pricing for the stay is very nice and they are relatively close to the city center. If you have a chance, I would recommend this place! Definitely coming back!

First the negatives, the elevator needs to be fixed, it is one of the slowest and smallest machines I've ever encountered in my life 😵. Check in went smooth-ish. But after that we were greeted with a beautiful room that would house me and my friends perfectly for our stay. 9/10 would book again

Located 10 minutes from Wenceslas Square, the hostel was above my expectations. Clean rooms, modern bathrooms + the restaurant downstairs. A bit dissapointed about the fact that extra charge for a towel. Other hostels offer that for free or included in the price of what you pay.

We only had breakfast here but it was very well made and good portions. The staff were very friendly and kept everything topped up. It certainly got you off to a good start for the day.

Nice location, not too close to the hustle-bustle of touristy Prague, but not too far from the sites as well. The rooms were clean. We had a guest kitchen and bathroom to ourselves. The receptionists are nice and friendly. I didn't personally try the breakfast, but it looked well worth the money (and cheap). There is an elevator and luggage room where you can use your own lock for extra safety. The only thing I'd complain about was the pillow. It was flat and hard, and hurt my neck.

This was the nicest hostel I stayed in during my Europe trip and I stayed in a lot. It is very, very clean and cute. It was nice to not sleep in a bunk bed and the mattresses were very comfortable. Having a separate room for the kitchen and a hall to the bathroom was incredible. It allowed those not sleeping a private and convenient place to hang out. The breakfast option is standard for all hostels but the brunch option is a tad more expensive and is what makes it better than the rest. The staff is also very friendly here and the location is convenient for public transportation. I didn't mind walking 20 minutes to old town either. The showers leak all over the floor which didn't really inconvenience me but probably should be fixed.

I really liked this hostel, the communal area was nice and the bed was comfy, staff were friendly and helpful. Bathrooms weren't the nicest but they were okay. WiFi was ok +++

Had one of the studio apartments. Loved it. Nice people, laid back modern hip hostel vibes. We drunk some wine. I used the bath. My only one tiny gripe. The timing on the bathroom light was a bit short. I was forever waving my arms to try and get it going again when I was brushing my teeth, having a poo, or lounging in bath.

Sophie's hostel was very clean, exceptionally friendly, and had all of the amenities that one could ask. One major highlight is that the staff and in particular the general manager are incredibly kind and reasonable people. I had a big favor to ask when checking out and they went way way out of their way to generously help me. If you want a great place to sleep and people who aren't out to get you, come stay here!!

I had a very nice stay here - only 1 night but I would happily stay again if I'm ever in Prague again.

I stayed for two nights in a 5-people shared room with kitchen and bathroom. My experience was all around positive. The room was extremely affordable but still spacious with individual under-bed lockers. The kitchen and bathroom were modern and well taken care of. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The house bar was reasonably priced and all our drinks were pretty big. The breakfast buffet with brunch option is well worth the 200 crowns total. From this hostel, you can walk anywhere comfortably, but the access to public transportation is also excellent.

Very calm & quiet hostel at a great location in Prague. It's one of the cleanest and finest hostels I know. On top, the evenings are very chill and the music at the bar is amazing. Nothing comparable at that price/value. 10/10 would come again.

👍👍 The selection of unique flavors can tell from the start that you are in the right place. They choose an excellent name to describe their product. My large cup had a deep dark cherry chocolate, an apricot, and a lavender-blueberry scoop. The artisan ice-cream here is served by awesome staff that kind...
