Such a pleasant surprise. Came with my 9 and 10 y/o. We've heard that this tour is not the typical distillery tour, but were not expecting it to be that interactive and fun. Highly recommended. Adult ticket includes tastings (was delicious!), kids enter free. Next time we will stay for lunch. It is worth stoping by if you are at the Mala Strana to have coffee or lunch at the stylish restaurant and garden, to see the amazing selection at the shop or visit the museum. The shop also offers a free traditional costume that you can take picture with 😊

I entered the courtyard of the museum rather by chance. What luck 🍀 Who would have thought that behind this gate is one of the most beautiful and best bars and restaurant. The atmosphere and the staff make you feel welcome and I felt very comfortable. The food was very tasty and lovingly prepared. Now that I know this gem I will definitely be a guest more often. And then I will also participate in one of the ca. one hour 5D Adventure tours with audio guide and final tasting. I give this recommendation with head heart and belly 🔆🔆🔆🔆🔆

We decided to stop by on a rainy day in Prague. We've been to many distilleries in the past and thought this was a fun and interactive tour in comparison. You will experience the life of a plum and learn about the distillation process. The snacks that accompany with tastings are a nice touch. Very clean facility and nice bathrooms.

A pleasant surprise hidden away across the bridge of the Rudolfinum concert hall. The amazing 5D experience takes you through the history of the distillery and the process of slivovitz distillation. The nest part is saved for last: Tasting! Dasha, Jacob, Andre and their colleagues are awaiting you at the bar and will explain everything you need to know about the selection of spirits (and food) they have to offer. Don’t be cheap and just go for the top shelf tasting selection. Smooth, usually aged at 10 years and if you’re lucky the 20 year old Family Reserve will be available that takes it to a whole new level!

Simple but delicious daily menu, rich finger food and alcohol menu, helpful and kind staff, nice ambiance... The music band exactly made my day. I loved this place.

I am not sure what the traffic level is like normally. I lucked out and had the tour all.to.myself. I saw another group and it was 3 friends. A visit here is well.worth the time and small.entrance fee. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. They also appear to be passionate about their products and the company. I purchased the premium tasting. As the name implies. This moves you up a level.in the quality & age of the spirits. With the tour you get 3 drinks and 3 finger foods. Everything was very good. The movie at the beginning of the tour is well done and they incorporate effects with the other displays. This movie lays out the history of the company and it's founders. As with many families in Europe it is steeped on tradagy. The VR experience was surprisingly cool. You learn about the entire process from harvesting to bottling. If you are in Prague. I highly recommend carving out 60-90 minutes for a visit.

This museum is so well done! We had a great time and learned so much about this traditional Czech beverage. We really enjoyed it and it is worth your time to visit. We also loved the gift shop - where we bought delicious plum jam, pruned and Slivovice. The staff are amazingly friendly and kind too. 5 stars all the way around!

We had a great time here. A good one hour diversion in the heat of the day and you learn a lot about a popular local spirit. It's automated so you can't rush through but we found that time relaxing after running through several castles and galleries that day. The little VR part where you are a plum is fun and a charming idea to make this not just another distillery tour. The tasting at the end is included in your ticket and prices are reasonable. The alcohol might not be everyone's favorite but I enjoyed the pairings. I'd actually recommend the slightly more expensive set to taste. The tasting room is huge and has a delicious looking menu. We couldn't stay but if I was back in the arena we'd certainly consider visiting the bar for some food and drinks during the evening. Would be a good spot for a larger party too.

11/05/23: we loved it here. Really enjoyed being a plum, such a fantastic experience. We chose the Premium tasting too. 3 brandys and canapes after the self guided tour. We arrived first thing on Friday morning at 1030am and went straight in, no wait. We had the place to ourselves too. There was no rush, the audio equipment was good, although headphones would have been better (not a phone) and the movie with 5D experience throughout was also good. My only criticism is that the smell of plums was absent. Well presented walkthrough tour. Definitely worth a visit! 550czk. Lovely restaurant area, lovely spacious outdoor seating too.

If you like liquor degustation and history, this is a must. Very interesting and sad but also entertaining. If you don't like closed rooms, this is not the place for you.

Awesome place very cool history on Jelinek and the ups downs that family faced to bring us the spirits we enjoy today. The tasting at the end was very good, the pear brandy was my favorite. Staff was super cordial and informative

This place is awesome!! *booze included!!* We happened to just walk past and decided to go in. Everyone is super friendly. It was only $20 for a super cool, very experiential/interactive/engaging museum, plus 3 shots of the alcohol they produce and 3 little snacks!! There are very few people allowed in at once so it’s very personal. Very small. And very very much worth it.

You take the tour on your own using an audio guide. The tours start every 15 minutes and have a capacity of 10 people per group. For what you get it's quite expensive but it was a fun experience. At the end you get three shots of their spirits and three little snacks. If 6ou want a vegetarian snack assortment tell them before the tour and they will arrange a selection with cheese. The snacks with meat are very traditional and are more suited to meat lovers as they include things like liver and pork fat.

Very nice muzeum, showing the history of Jelinek family slivovica production. Friendly staff. At the end there is a tasting of 3 different slivovica with a typical local snack.

It's all automated and I would prefer the first couple rooms went faster, but it's a neat ad/museum. Really good snacks and tasting at the end.

It started with us sitting in a local bar and ordering Slivovice a drink made from plums with high alcohol, so we decided to visit the museum that tells the story of the family that produces this special drink, welcoming and nice staff, an interactive visitor center and tastings of this special drink.🥃🥃🥃

One of the best brand museum I have been to and a great bargain at this price. Museum is brilliant and unlike any other I've seen and the VR experience was mind blowing. Excellent customer service by a friendly (and beautiful) lady who spoke perfect English. She has shown me around and explained everything very well. Thank you

Got to the bar in the evening after a walk up to the Prague castle. For those who don't know what slivovitz is - it's plum brandy. They have spirits made from apple, apricot, juniper. This is not local moonshine, but refined spurts aged in old wine barrels. Ask for a flight and ask the bartender to pick based on your taste. Ondrej and Marketa made it a fun evening of tasting some great Czech brandy.

What an amazing experience! Fantastic high end small museum with an amazing story , cinema experience and a VR experience which is a day in the life of a plum being made into their brandy. Didn't have to buy in advance just walked in but it is a tuesday. After we tried their experience of 3 premium brandy's which are paired with canapes. Warning , this is strong stuff and I'm not sure I'm making much sense anymore. 😂

Great experience of the nature of how Slivovice is made. If you like Slivovice, it's a must visit when being in Prague.

Wandered in organically and took the tour at the recommendation of the hostess. It was well executed with lots of visual aids and thorough knowledge for everyone. Brandy Tasting and tapas were delicious and VR experience were definitely the highlights.

Wonderful service and very cool museum of Jelinek’s history. Jelinek - for those who don’t know - is the largest world producer of alcoholic beverages from fruits! Pretty cool exposition with VR story of a plum - from tree to a bottle!

I don’t drink much so I was not expecting that the museum experience will be so enjoyable. But it was very immersive with professional videos, light design and even virtual reality experience. I can now appreciate the product more when I know the full story. Definitely recommended for anyone!

Beautiful place. Great bar and great experience in the museum - not a typical distillery tour - modern. Interactive, and interesting. Particularly the VR section which we all loved, including the kids!

I’ve visited the distillery museum mainly because I wanted to buy a whisky produced by them and got offered so much more. You will experience an incredible presentation taking you through all the steps of the companies history, the farming and production process in detail. There is even a VR-presentation where you can see the process from a view of a plum. There’s a lot of love for detail here and the tasting at the end is very recommendable.

Do you want to know for one of the favourite drink not only of Czech, but also a drink know around the world, then this is the place. You will enjoy an interactive museum in which you will learn the history of Slivocice, enjoy a 5d movie and at the end enjoy a degustation of three Slivocice and three snacks. It is a place that you should arrive and check.
