Very disappointing. For this price I expected something more interesting than the pictures on the wall. Most of the illusions are for children only. Don't waste your time and money.

This is a very nice and funny museum with many photo illusions and some of them are interactive. Well worth a visit if you are in town. They have lockers to store jackets etc with a deposition of 100 koruna.

Nice and fun. Could be bigger and slightly cheaper, but all and all we enjoyed our stay. Go with a friend or partner, so you can make funny photos together.

For me it was underwhelming. Most illusions aren’t really illusions but a way to make an unusual photo for yourself but even that gets repetitive. Most other illusions where illusions of motion (when you switch between pictures quickly). There exist a lot more interesting illusions out there that were not included here.

Really cool place to visit. Me and my girlfriend made some funny pictures with the help of some visitors, because sometimes you need someone to take picture of the two of you. It took us like 1 hour to get over it all. We recommend going here and taking some funny pictures. Here are a few examples of our pics :) the receptionist was from Slovakia, nonetheless a helpful and friendly worker :)

Surely impressive variety of the optical illusions, fun guaranteed. A lot from connected history to learn and "visually witness" as well. Doesn't matter what age are you or where are you from - you'll enjoy the experience. **Payment in cash - you can get discount, valid as of now.

It's been a lovely interactive experience and a great museum for kids (give them their own camera). Although it was busy (we had to wait in line for a while) we still had enough time and space in the museum to enjoy making photographs of eachother and also enjoy seeing other people having fun. Definitely worth having a go and you'll come out with lots of fun pictures. If you can't find it, the entrance is inside on the 1st floor, up with the escalator. You can book your ticket online or buy at the desk, either way you do have to wait in line.

Nice place but during our visit there was a lot of people. It is recommended to buy a ticket online, there could be big lines... Mainly ín the weekend.

Very very nice Musuem. Illusions looks so realistic in photos. You can absolutely go alone (the Musuem staff has made provision to snap you wherever you like). I recommend going in twos or more if you can. For me I had to go alone but all my photos were taken by the very kind staff. You should visit if you are in Prague. You can also get your tickets there, so easy.

I went with my 13 and 10 years old. So much fun. Not a massive wait without prebooking. Make sure to leave your jackets in the locker. It's free, you just need 100 CZK deposit.

We took a while picking an illusion museum to go to as there are a few spread out in Prague but in the end we were so glad we chose this one, although small there's some really good illusions and visuals allowing you to take photos along side the artwork. We spent about an hour there but it could probably be done in even less time or more, depending if you have more people with you or not and depending on how busy it is. Just have to be patient and wait your turn to get a pic and it shouldn't take long as people go from one part to the next. We really enjoyed it definitely worth a wee visit if your passing that way!

We had an amazing time, sadly not thanks to the museum. We were “bamboozled” by this museum. Not through the illusions but by paying money for a hallway with funny wallpapers. Our advice: Don’t go here sober or with an expectation of enjoyment when you are above the age of 12.

The Mueseam of fantastic Illusions was fun but to go in with a couple was difficult to get the pictures together. Alot of children I think they are better mueseams to visit for the price. Still fun but maybe not for a couple.

Lot's of fun info on historic optical illusions, very interactive and an absolute must if you are seeing Prague with kids 5 years or older. Bring your camera! Also, some rooms would need three people involved to snap that petfect shot - bring your friends. For being a place where people touch and climb on everything it is kept very clean and tidy. The area is not too big, but it will still take you some time to see it all. Highly recommended.

The Museum of Fantastic Illusions in Prague is a whimsical journey into a world of optical wonders. From mind-bending illusions to interactive exhibits, every corner sparks curiosity and amazement. The blend of creativity and science makes it a delightful experience for all ages. Whether defying gravity or stepping into surreal environments, this museum offers a playful escape from reality. A fun-filled adventure that leaves you marveling at the magic of perception.

Bigger than I expected! And it was a lot of fun! There are not only nice backgrounds for selfies and photos, but also some illusion paintings and interesting things to read (it you want to). It is better to be in company and not alone, to have someone to take you pictures. most scenarios are for 1 person, some of them though require 2 people to pose in the photo and a third person to take the picture.

Awesome experience! We had a lovely time! Overall a great experience, a little smaller than I expected but still, full of information and fun things to see. Perfect for kids but also for the adults. We enjoyed it and giggled a lot. The perfect experience to lighten up your day💕. Note: Can pay by cash or card, we got the tickets online as it was easy. They also have an area to hang your jackets/raincoats if you’re visiting in Autumn/ Winter.

I saw about 3 museums like this one in Prague, I decided for this one, looked the most interesting. I bought the tickets in advance on Slevomat, you have a small discount (or to pay by cash in the museum - 10% sale). The price of tickets is quite expensive - 299 CZK, 279 CZK with sale, but honestly all Prague is, so I am not suprised. The illusions are awesome and you can get a lot of fantastic pictures, it is good for kids, but adults as well.. There is a little too hot temperature (in few places you can refresh yourself with fans) and there are a lot of people, so my advance is to go from the end (where is usually less people) and after that return on the start or to go in the morning. Better is to go with at least two people, because we went only with my husband alone and in some attractions we had to ask somebody to take the pic. I took the dress because of nice weather, but in few cases I had to go down on my knees (to make better illusion) so jeans or pants are more comfortable. Anyway it was fantastic there and certainly don't feel sorry visiting the museum 🙂

What a great place to smile and be silly. Nice to unwind and have some fun taking photos of you and your friends/family. Would recommend taking 3 people minimum if possible since some photos worked best this way. I just had some strangers take a few photos for me.

  • 5/5 Svetlana B. 1 year ago on Google
The place was much bigger than I thought. It's still small like any other museum in Prague but it worth the money. It was one and half hour before closing and we were alone in this place so experience was really great. But I think that when it full it's still great since you see other people reactions and can make lot of fun.

  • 5/5 Anne W. 1 year ago on Google
Absolutely brilliant place to visit, we had loads of fun here! There are lockers available at reception for a small deposit. The staff are friendly and very helpful - some of the illusions require a 3rd person for photos and they are more than happy to assist. The illusions are very clever. We love the Chair, the Ballerina and the Big/Little room - but especially the Two Faces. Thoroughly recommended, would definitely visit again!

  • 5/5 Patrick B. 1 year ago on Google
This is such a fun place. Highly recommend a visit either with or without kids. You will love it. Only downside is that it can get very busy, people not waiting and trying to get ahead of you when you're trying to get pictures taken.

  • 3/5 Jaakko P. 1 year ago on Google
Quite nice experience in overall. Nice way to pass some time and have a little laugh. Wouldn't be my list of "must do" in Prague. Without the good personel, experience would have not been the same.

  • 4/5 Mateusz S. 1 year ago on Google
Good museum but its hard to enjoy the art when its so tightly packed you basically constantly stumble on other people. Museum encourages taking photos with the pieces but there is very low chance you will be able to get an empty frame. Consider limiting the number of people inside at the same time.

  • 2/5 Chiliman T. 1 year ago on Google
Even though this museum presents itself as the "funniest museum in Prague" or whatever, it certainly isn't the case. My friend got a vouchers and invited me, so we gave it a shot. When we reached the reception, we were shocked by the prices. 300 CZK for an adult ticket! (Sure, we were there in times of inflation, but it still is expensive 🫰). It's located in the center of Prague so, obviously it's milking tourists that are unaware or don't care about the expenses. Anyway when we got into the actual exposition, there wasn't much to do. The place is pretty small, however on their website they say average time of the visit is about 60 minutes. We went through it all in like 30 minutes, and that was mainly because of other visitors. It was very crowded for that small space. And about that fun part, there was almost none. Only like 2 or 3 attractions made us smile for a bit. Other than that, the attractions were mainly rusty, loud and boring. Half of the attractions weren't even close to illusions. Conclusion: It's mainly for children, very pricey for what it is. It's also crowded. Personally I wouldn't go there again or recommend my friends to go there.

Museum, where you can have plenty of fun while creating some lovely memories to your family photo album! I just wish I did not visit it during Easter holidays as it was very crowded. However I still suggest the visit. You will enjoy it anyway!

  • 5/5 Kiana S. 1 year ago on Google
Really amazing experience! One of the best activities to do while visiting Prague! Also, buy your tickets in advance, otherwise you have to wait in a very long queue.

  • 4/5 Vitali N. 1 year ago on Google
Fun to visit. If crowded it might be hard to do nice pictures. Overall time needed to pass everything is around 30 minutes.

  • 4/5 Michal V. 8 months ago on Google
A great thing for children and adults. I definitely recommend buying tickets in advance, even on weekdays there is a long queue. Those who leave early will not be fooled, they let such a large number of people there that it is almost impossible to take photos.

fantastic place to visit, you can take some really great photos. quite a lot of people in but just be patcient & you will get your turn. great value for money, you can pay at the door bur recommended to book on line in advance.

Such a good fun! Whilst it was busy it was easy to take some good pictures that were instagram worthy! As a tip the museum is in a shopping centre on the first floor, we walked past it first but realised our error. There are lockers if you want to store a bag. A really good experience and really is fun!

Museum based on the 1st floor of a shopping center. It features several "stage sets" of illusion to take photos as well as some little entertainment to check. Ticket really worth the price, nice and funny experience; recommended!!

Just for photo shoot with kids it’s one time visit. Small kids will definitely like it. It’s max 30 min to cover all photo.

  • 3/5 Amruta J. 7 months ago on Google
Way too overpriced compared to other attractions in Prague. It's basically photo place. You won't be able to see most of illusions with your bare eyes, you see them in photos. Especially in Friday the place was so overcrowded, that we couldn't take pictures from the right place with a right camera angle. After some time, specially my kids were bored and we had to leave after an hour. Only thing that was good, was we didn't have to wait in line because we reached there pretty early, when it opened. Later it started getting full. The Tram Station is nearby. But this museum is pretty hidden, don't expect a museum building; it's inside a mall. You can get locker for bags again 100kc deposit. (Well, don't forget to take that back, when you leave!!) There is also cloak area to hang coats. Overall, I was not so excited after the visit. Pretty disappointing!

  • 5/5 Lizanne 7 months ago on Google
Amazing museum with lots of cool illusions in which you can be part of (by taking a picture) or riddles with optical illusions you can solve. It was great to visit with 2 people, no matter the age. But for some of the pictures, it is better to be with 3 or more. There is also a wardrobe, which I would recommend to use to hang your jacket. But it is an unguarded service. We had to wait for almost an hour, but still worth it. So don't give up when standing in line.
