Wow I just stopped by to get my Zoom H6 and wow! The remodel looks great. They extended the second floor for a cafe & and more items. Kytary can compete with any guitar center in America. You can’t beat them on the music side in the Czech and between their annual concert and regular workshops, you just can’t go wrong if you stay in tune with their schedule.

I got a discount after begging on my knees (figuratively). They are nice though. Best price and a good selection.

This is THE place to go for musical instruments in Prague. They have so many that you can try before you buy. It was much better when they were closer but still worth the trip.

I've been there several times to buy equipment and get things repaired (looper, bass, ukulele) and the service and selection is always amazing!! Staff speaks English, is willing to help, lets you try equipment (in separate room with several amps) and is overall friendly and approachable. Of course the store is also huge and has a lot of things, everything you could wish for - definitely for guitarists :) The repair was pretty cheap and done well too. Thanks a lot!!

I've bought a lot of stuff from Kytary, for drums, keys, and more. Twice I needed to return something (one faulty device, and one piano that was just a bad choice), and both experiences were excellent. It's a music store staffed by musicians, with modern customer service. It's my go-to place for music gear.

I’ve been a customer for 3 years now - I have to say the team at kytary are unmatched in the CZ. They have private rooms to test gear in privacy, they come by every once in a while to make sure everything is fine. They lend an ear and advice if asked (and I asked a lot). I genuinely don’t think I would still be playing guitar if it wasn’t for the patience and support of the entire staff. You know they have unmatched service because their store is so far - yet it never stops me from coming back :D

I was looking for a kid's guitar for my daughter knowing next to nothing about what might be a good instrument. We were recommended a decent guitar but at an affordable price. So I didn't feel like I was pushed into a purchase that wasn't necessary. Very friendly and as far as I can tell also professional service. Paradise on earth for all music lovers.

I have ordered a Bass guitar from Kytary.cz about week ago. Yesterday the package arrived to my place without an issue. It was packaged with bubble foil and cardboard. After getting the bass out, it required only little tuning and it was ready to go. What is really remarkable for this music store is their customer service. I received answer for every email that I have sent them within very short period of time. I really appreciate the help Ms. Aleksandra. Really good shop with variety of products with good customer service. What do you need more!

If you're looking to buy anything in regards to musics, this is your place to go. The choices are enormous, prices are reasonable, customer service is outstanding. If you're unsure, or if you find yourself insecure, they'll be sure to give you an advice you can lean onto. Their warranty customer service is also a sigh to behold. I've had my guitar serviced with a broken volume knob recently. They fixed it within 3 days without so much as a hustle and it works flawlessly. Overall great satisfaction and will definitely shop here again!

I didn’t see a music shop this much friendly, you can try all the instruments and workers are not acting like you should not touch anything. You can feel comfortable, of course just be careful to not damage the instruments. In guitar area Jozef he was helpful and he love his job. Percussion area also talkative and helpful Workers are positive and help-full. There is upstairs you can check Clarinets Flutes and Violins also electronic Daw controllers and DJ setups you can drink your coffee and eat some deserts then you can continue after to find your future instrument. I will be back soon to see this wonderful atmosphere. Stay with music !

What an amazing place! The attention is superb, they have a virtually unlimited assortment of instruments and they let you try them in a very relaxed setting. They also have soundproofed rooms to try bass or other instruments. It even has a café on the 2nd floor! Last but not least, try to give yourself at least an hour to visit this place, you'll definitely get lost looking at all the instruments ☺

They have music gears, instruments and accessories at very affordable prices.. I have recently bought a guitar and on other stores if you want to order something and use cash as payment you have to pay some extra money (like 90czk) + delivery to the store but on Kytary.cz you only pay the delivery. I’m very satisfied with the services, the product came in one day, no scratches, no cracks or something like that.

I bought a guitar from them CORT Gold-A6 NAT. They sent me a guitar in so bad condition you could think of. Even the frets were rusty. The head was damaged in a places. The tuners were all damaged all around. And the worst I immediately the very same day wrote to them asking for refund but they did not respond. I wrote to them 3 times for three days. Still haven't heard from them back. Sales manager was Petra Pohanková. And before the sale she was pretty talkative. Claims department keep silence as well. I included the pictures. Here is the full list: 1. It was kept in such humid environment that even frets got rust on them, not only strings. The neck is in the worst condition I ever seen. 2. Tuners are scratched badly as well. All of them. And not on one side all around. Should be replaced. 3. The head is damaged on the top. There are three dents like something heavy fell on it. 4. The head is chipped closer on the opposite side of saddle like it fell. 5. There are three scratches on the sound board right beneath the bridge. 6. There are visible small scratches all over meaning that the guitar is not new but was used before. 7. Gig bag it came is is not new. So I want to tell you how their claims department works. So I wrote to them on the same day I received the guitar to the sales manager, Petra Pohanková, and to the claims department. I sent emails every day to both email addresses. Petra never responded back. The claims department responded three days later. Three days!!! Since then, the average response time has been two to three days. The manager in the claims department is named Jan Pospíšil. He just does not respond if he feels like it. The main issue is that according to their "Return of Goods - Withdrawing from Sales Contract," they can "Upon agreement with the Merchandise Returns Department, we can also pick up your item(s) at your location at our own expense (this service can be used once every 90 days)." So for two weeks, these people—I do know how to call them—couldn't organize a pickup by a courier. I suggested that she send me a return label, so I could bring the guitar to my local postal service. That was ignored. So the guitar was not picked up until now, and nobody knows when or if it will. And I can't send it myself since they did not provide a return label. They just ignored that request. I'll add later how the story progresses and how it will end. Stay away from the store and the people. It is not worth it.
