    I am sure there are lots of very good people working here but my experience was that the lady at the foreigners desk was actually in my opinion a disgrace to the hospital. In saying that medical staff were professional and this was a few months ago - but I still feel strongly about it.. In my opinion I would urge the no doubt hard working and professional management team to observe quietly how the receptionist speaks to all foreigners (I am British and she was obnoxious to me and was even worse to the perfectly polite Russian man behind me). I respect all of the people working here but I would prefer to see this woman work somewhere else more suitable - she would be good for controlling football hooligans or something but not as a receptionist in a hospital with such a high reputation.

    Pure nightmare. I arrived from Banghkok with high temperature so next morning I went to Pohotovost. They let me wait 6 hours and told me that I will wait for ever because fever is not reason to be treated by doctor. Even I explained them that I am comming from Asia. They didnt give me advice to visit special clinic for exotic illness even is in the Praque, where is possible to go any time ( I found out later by GP). I had to leave Pohotovost without be seen by doctor. In fact I had dengue fever . Very dangerous. If I would be ill with some exocit infection spread by air there would be chance to make small epidemy in time I had to wait in waiting room, in vain. Unprofesional retarded ignorant personal.

    Absolutely horrible experience with my boyfriend. He had enormous stomach ache and nausea and the doctors did not seem to care at all. They did not even control his belly using hands, nor send him to x-ray or ultrasound. They just said it is food poisoning. After the pain did not stop for several hours, we had to visit another hospital in Prague, where he was diagnosed with accute bowel inflammation. Extremely disappointed with their services at motor emergency and the staff was also rude and unprofessional.

    Disgusting. I went to the emergency department and was dismissed like trash. I went because you have to be reviewed by a doctor first before you can take anything as I was breastfeeding. She shook her head and sighed repeatively at me, even made a comment about why did I go to my gp. From the moment you step in the doctors are annoyed that you’re there and clearly hate their jobs so they dont do them correctly. I was spoken down to, by a doctor who could barely communicate and refuse to have my czech speaking husband to translate. Go to another hospital.

    It's a big hospital, and the top doctors are great. However, you can't expect good service and skills every time, and except for important sections, I'd say half of the nurses have low motivation, are lazy, and rude. I was hospitalised, couldn't tolerate the hygiene level of the ward as well as rude nurses who play loud music overnight. They ignore your nurse calls. I was tired out after a week's hospitalisation.

    Shocked at the rude behavior of the staff! They kept calling out the wrong ticket number, and then came out and shouted at me for not responding. Talked down at me and made me feel guilty and ashamed for coming in for an urgent prescription that I needed which, apparently, is a "non-emergency," after I willingly waited for over 4 hours. But I'm not registered with a gp yet because of a complicated situation, which they wouldn't care to understand. Moreover they charge you 90 kc in spite of having Czech health insurance. One of the doctors even loudly demanded that I show her the receipt (proof of payment) first and foremost! Had really expected much better than this!

    Leaving review for Orto Ambulanci FNM. As a person who pays 100s of 1000s in taxes and have VZP insurance I’m shoked w a quality of service Czech medicine can offer. waited in the queue for 4+ hours for a simple check up, never got in and left. wow, here is a well deserved 1 star.

    FOR FOREIGNERS I had the worst experience at this hospital emergency yesterday. Over 5 hours i waited with 38 degrees fever and pain. The people working at the hospital especially the doctor with her assistant were super racist to me! Whenever i ask for help or try to understand why is the numbers always going with wrong order they didnt give me a proper answer instead they were being super racist and rude to me also they push me to the corridor. I paid around 80 euros because they didnt accept my insurance and it is said to me all doctors can speak in English because it has a foreign department but the doctor forced me to use google translate with a loud voice. They were reprimanding me as if im a kid. This hospital is a huge disaster the woman doctor who is taking care with me was a horrible doctor i had to go back to my country for getting a better health service and she misdiagnosed, not surprised because she didnt even ask for any analysis…Thank god im so much better after the correct medications. If you are tourist please for your own health do NOT visit this hospital…

V půl osmé mi sestra lámanou češtinou řekla, že zde už doktor nebude a že mám jít jinam. Tak jsem šel znovu dolu na příjem s tím, že mě na oční pohotovostii (B3)neošetřili. Na příjmu byla paní dost nepříjemná. Řekla mi, ať jí dám stvrzenku o zaplacení poplatku 90 Kč. Tu jsem jí dal. Mrskla po mě 90 Kč a řekla další... Ale já na ní, že chci ošetřit, že mě to oko bolí. A ono vyjekla ať si jdu na A3. Tak tam jdu a všude vývěsky, že ordinují od 8:15 hod... Čekám... V 8:15 hod. vyšla sestra... Říkám jí, že jdu z pohotovosti, kde mě nevyšetřili. Pak se asi hodinu čekalo na doktora. A když přišel začal brát asi objednané pacienty, co přišli bpo mě. Cca v 10 hodin přišel druhý doktor... taktéž bere objednané pacienty, co přišli po mě. Stále čekám s bolestí... Cca po 4,5 hodinách jdu na řadu. Diagnóza... kovová špona v oku. Konečně mi jí vyndavají... Úleva.

(Original) Rodila jsem zde predcasne a s tehotenskou cukrovkou, takze jsem prosla stredisky jako jsou porodni, rizikove tehotenstvi, jip pro novorozence, specialni pece pro novorozence a diabeticke oddeleni. Vsude byla naprosto spickova pece s maximalne kvalifikovanymi doktory a sestrickami. Myslim,ze dlouho nezazili takoveho sraba jako jsem byla ja u porodu a ani jim nepreji,aby jeste zazili:),ale presto se chovali skvele a ikdyz ja osobne bych si nafackovala byli profesionalni,hodni a naprosto uzasni!!!! To same potom bylo na jip a jsp pro novorozence. I u kontrol na cukrovku naprosto famozni sestricky. Jedine co bylo tak na dvojku kontrola gynekolozky u ktere se hlasite v 36 tydnu.,ale jak pisu, dvojka jen ve srovnani se skvostnou peci na ostatnich strediscich. Porodni saly jsou naprosto dokonale, muzete tam byt sami s pritelem a nikdo z ostatnich rodicich vas nerusi..na pokoji je sprcha,vana,toaleta. Vybava u luzek pro pacienty je oproti tomuto o dost slabsi,ale v porovnani s ostatnimi nemocnicemi to je ok. V peci o novorozence jim daji i hezke obleceni a staraji se o ne jako o sve. Jidlo je tu super, jen si nesmite moc davat teplou stravu..ta se moc nepovedla...kazdopadne pro me ve chvili,kdy vam nejde o kulinarsky zazitek,ale o zdravi vas a ditete je jidlo naprosto bezcenne. Dekuji moc vsem famoznim doktorum a sestrickam,ktere tu jsou!!!

Je sice sledována na nefrologii v jiném městě, ale v Motole jsem dnes byla tuto situaci řešit už po čtvrté (ačkoliv se mi sestra snažila namluvit něco jiného). Už při druhé návštěvě zde nám lékařka doporučila, abychom příště dceru nechali doma a jeden z nás přijel nechat otestovat jen moč. Čekárny jsou prý plné nemocných dětí a není vhodné brát dceru s sebou zbytečně. Přivézt ji máme jen v případě nálezu. Rada se nám zdála velice rozumná, zvláště s přihlédnutím k tomu, že stejný postup realizujeme i tam, kde je dcera pravidelně sledována. Navíc nám byly doporučeny testovací proužky, které od té doby pravidelně používáme. Dnes měla dcera horečku, proto jsme ji otestovali doma a zjistili, že by se o zánět jednat nemělo, hodnoty měla v pořádku. Přesto nám v takových situacích bývá doporučeno nechat moč otestovat v laboratoři kvůli možnosti falešné negativity testu. S přihlédnutím k tomu, že domácí test vyšel negativně, jsem vyrazila s močí do Motola bez dcery. Normálně jsem se vždy bála už příjmu kde vám vezmou kartičku atak, nikdy v životě tam nebyl někdo příjemný, až na včerejšek!
