The
beautiful
nature
park
forms
a
narrow
strip
along
the
Rokytka
stream
from
the
outskirts
of
Prague
to
Koloděje,
Královice
and
Prague
22.
The
axis
of
the
area
is
precisely
the
Rokytka
stream,
which
is
(apart
from
the
Vltava
and
Berounka)
the
largest
and
longest
watercourse
in
the
territory
of
Prague
(flow
length
36.2
km
,
of
which
31.5
km
in
the
territory
of
Prague).
It
was
declared
in
1990
and
its
area
is
136.5
hectares.
The
nature
park
also
includes
very
important
historical
sites
in
the
vicinity
of
Kralovice
(fortress,
Slavic
hillfort)
and
the
small
Na
Markétě
reservoir.
The
valley
through
which
the
Rokytka
stream
flows
around
the
promontory
with
the
church
of
St.
Margaret
and
the
rest
of
the
Šance
hillfort
was
dammed
in
the
1970s.
The
bottom
is
sandy
and
the
reservoir
is
suitable
for
sport
fishing.
The
pond
is
quite
difficult
to
access,
it
is
surrounded
by
private
land
and
cannot
be
bypassed.
