Its my favourite DIY in Prague. So far I've gotten everything I needed from this Bauhaus branch.

A store boasting an extensive range of construction products, Bauhaus Germany has been my go-to choice for a decade. I'm immensely content with the merchandise offered by this store chain. The staff is impressively skilled and affable, always ready to assist with inquiries. While I'm unsure of its current availability, I stumbled upon wood-look concrete paving here, a truly remarkable item that I haven't come across elsewhere due to its striking appearance.

Czech Home Depot. Huge selection for contractors & DIY. Tons of stuff I haven't been able to find anywhere else.

Fun fact Bauhaus.cz reacted on this review arrogantly but must have gotten sense and decided to delete the rude comment. It's weird behavior. Instead of seeing valid criticism as a chance for improvement, the person who is responsible for public relations decides to lash out.

Only good thing about this store is the location, as all other hardware stores are located outside the city centre. The staff are so rude and unhelpful, and one staff at the cashier was not happy with me when she saw that I put an empty basket on the side of the self checkout, but was on top of other baskets that were already there left by others. People in this store needs proper training sessions and should not be hired until they passed the test.

Great selection. Staff at pokladna are grumpy and unhelpful . I must point out this was not just on one occasion but, and I kid you not, on about 99% of the 380+ times I have used them over the past 5 years. Because of this I will only now use the automated payment system . Why don't you employ happy staff, they don't cost anymore, they just need training. Why don't you accept the electronic copy of the Bauhaus card ...it's 2021 ! Everything is electronic and stored on my phone

Good location, small parking space do select the time you want to go shopping carefully. Inside the store everything is well displayed, staff are always helpful. Selection of sold goods is big enough.

This store is very convenient. Is not far from the city centre and close to the metro. The staff is very nice and they also provide me support for a returned item.

Huge range of pretty good quality products. Well organized and clean.

Bauhaus is the best store for handymen, since they are open even at late hours and have absolutely everything one needs

I love this store and have been a long time customer. However, the customer service at the cash registers has really gone downhill.

One of the two Bauhaus shops in Prague. Not far from centre, with two parking lots, one at street level & the second underground to be reached through the motorway exiting Prague towards Brno. Good offers, since in Czech Republic not huge as it is in other European countries. Prices quite good even if not extraordinarily attractive. Few people English speaking. Payment by cash & cards. Update: a new huge garden & gardening department recently opened. Update: very useful on line purchases with delivery service for free. New update. Looks like prices hiked up a bit too much.

Anything you need they got it, best hobby shop in town.

Fist off, I don't speak czk but I do my best to ask for everything in czk and am very polite and understanding but today was too much for me. I'm looking for stainless steel polish. I go to cleaning products near paint, no dice, so I walk up to the counter and I'm standing there in paints waiting for the 3 people behind the count to acknowledge a customer is standing at the counter, too much to ask for. Some kid walks up from the back and throws an order down and only after his manager (who has also been just standing there) tell him to ask me what I need then asks me what I need, I ask him for stainless polish which he responds, down there and points to the rest of the store. Nice. I love good customer service. So I wanted er through the store some more to find the polishing and sanding area, no polishing compound.... hmm I ask the guy stocking boxes. He also doesn't know if they have it, but he answered my question, great. So I ask a guy a bit further down, and he also gives me the it's over there general point to the entire store directions. Noice, more good advice. I finish out the day with nothing I needed and looking to buy from anywhere but bauhaus. I would say the only positive experience here was they have a reasonable parking lot. So I guess you deserve that 1 star.

You can rent a tools or buy new, as you wish. Perfect place to make purchases for a house or flat

I needed to paint some windows. I’m not familiar with the different paints that are available here in Czech Republic. I had picked something out, and I asked the gentleman who was working in The paint department if I had picked out the right paint. I showed him some pictures of the windows and he knew exactly what I needed. He got me the correct primer, filler, and paint. He was extremely knowledgeable, and explained to me exactly how to use the materials. He was very kind and I’m quite appreciative of his help with my project.

You can find building materials, gardening equipment, lighting etc and it's easy to navigate around the shop

As an American living in Prague. This is the closest to a Home Depot that I have found!

I came to buy Wiha screwdrivers. The selection was very limited but I still found what I needed.

So far I've gotten everything I needed from this Bauhaus branch. From plumbing to lumber to gardening. The store is laid out sensibly and easy to navigate. Parking is available in front of the store or in a garage underneath and is free for 90 minutes. Metro is also close, about a five minute walk from Pankrác station. Checkout experience has always been pleasant.

All in one place, without fashon of course.

Best shopping place . Hardware is cool and the have giant selectuion.

Don't be afraid if you're not Czech, the crew do speak English very well. I was there to buy a screwdriver and came back with a new house. Big store!

The shop assistants are very arrogant , i will never visit this shop again . Especially paint and color section . I just wanted ask something and they are running away . The management needs to follow these people and do something .

in comparison with other ones in Prague i had the worst customer service experience, asked for help and in the end the employee acted liked please don't bother me even don't said goodbye when i thanked him - the only response I've got was when i asked specifically for a product iam not the manufacturer and you can read or not ?

I absolutely love Bauhaus! The hardware store is so well organized and the staff is always so helpful. I highly recommend this store to anyone who is looking for high quality hardware supplies and great prices.

Open untill 21.00. Geat selection of tools. Some might be too cheap/low quality.

Good, very big. You can find everything here but it will take some time to walk around and actually find it.

Gigantic in options of various materials for renovation, construction, and residential and commercial maintenance. Attractive prices in general.

Awful experience, first and last time purchasing there. Thankful that in Prague we can choose from all other sellers who know how to communicate with costumer. Very rude personnel, not only they sold me low quality product with no option toe exchange it for proper working but they insulted me on ethnic root, total disrespect.

One visit: Assistance at the shop did not seem sufficient. Another visit: Very nice and helpful assistance. Experience inconsistent so far.
