Fantastic team (especially the customer manager - Mrs Renata Stöcker - one of the most professional women I have seen + of course Dr. Tomáš Juhás Jr. and Dr. Ivana Macejová (on the picture with me)) very clean and professional looking office and very friendly atmosphere, which is very important when you go for surgery with your eyes! The price is not the lowest, but again, that's your eyes! It is definitely worth every single euro. They are really really caring of you. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I told myself only this - why didn't I do it much earlier??

So...my story. After a long planning and research i finally decided to have an eye surgery and i reached few clinics for information. Immediately after the first e-mail thanks to a lovely lady(Renata) my doubts disappeared and i have chose Oftum. It was one of the best choices of my life. Everything in this clinic is structure to make you comfortable. From the reception,examination to the surgery itself. I had Relex Smile and it was painless, fast with fast recovery. I can only recommend and say positive things. Big thanks to all the staff.

I decided to write my review because I think it will be important to know for those people who also have some problems with their eyes, vision and they want to do the laser surgery. I had an appointment in the Oftum clinic on the 12 of July for a pre-operative examination, but after the examination, I was surprised that the examination did not include the medicated dilatation of the pupil by special drops which is very important for diagnostics diseases which are hidden from the doctor when he did not use dilatation of pupil. "The view to the back of the eye is limited when the pupil is not dilated. When your pupil is small, an eye doctor can see your optic nerve and macula but the view is limited. In order to see the entire retina, the pupil must be dilated. This is achieved by placing dilated drops in the eyes." And I asked Doctor if he was sure that I did not have any cataracts. Because 2 years ago I had an examination in another clinic and they told me that I had initial cataracts on the left eye. And a doctor from Oftum told me that he did not see any cataracts and I could prepare for the laser surgery. That's why I decided to double-check and did an examination in another ophthalmological clinic in my hometown in Ukraine. So, there did a full examination with medicated dilatation of the pupil and the doctor told me that I had initial cataracts in both eyes, so better to wait a couple of years and do another surgery to replace the lenses(to remove cataracts). So, in my case were hidden cataracts that were not visible to the doctor of Oftum clinics.

I had my relax smile procedure 3 months ago now. I came alone from England as I decided I wanted the treatment and Oftum had availability that suited me. I was a bit worried being alone but all the staff were so kind and professional, even though it was a very busy treatment day. I wouldn’t hesitate if you are considering it as I felt very well looked after. Haven’t had any issues and can see perfectly. Thank you all ❤️

I went for Relex operation and was very satisfied. The doctor was very professional and the whole experience was flawless. The test and the operation took place on the same day and I was able to work the next day without any problem. 5*

From very first contact with Oftum until the last time I walked out the door with my new eyes, I was treated like a VIP. I travelled on my own to Prague from Ireland. I used public transport from the airport to the clinic which was very easy. The staff at Oftum are extremely pleasant and professional. The Doctor is highly skilled and explains everything in great detail. The clinic is spotless and very comfortable. I had a very high astigmatism and before the surgery I could barely make out the 2nd line of letters on the chart without my glasses. I had the Relex Smile surgery at 5pm. I returned to the clinic at 8am the next morning for a checkup and could read the 20/20 line. The results are amazing. There was absolutely zero pain or discomfort following the surgery. I would highly recommend anyone considering laser surgery to go to Prague and visit Oftum. I flew out to Prague on a Thursday morning and was back in Ireland the next day. It really is that easy. To all the staff in Oftum, I can't thank you enough. You are amazing at what you do and your customer service skills and hospitality is absolutely out of this world.

This is one of the best medical service I ever had since I stepped in Czech Republic! I went through the RelEx smile surgery in March and everything went very smoothly from the very beginning until this day! Every single person working there is very friendly, professional, and always smiling. The Drs made sure to go through all checks to see if I am eligible for the surgery and they informed me about all the risks and complications that are related to my condition. The surgery itself was very quick and painless, they explained the procedure very well and assisted me from the beginning until the end. This Company was very professional from start to finish the care they show is wonderful, everyone was most helpful through the process as I was very scared but they put me at ease every step of the way, I now have 100% vision and do not need any form of glasses thanks to all the staff from Ferenc and Anastasia

I went to Oftum and had the Relex Smile surgery. My prescription was -8.5 and -9 with small degree of astigmatism so I couldn't see without glasses or contacts and what I could see was never that clear, I struggled with this for so many years! I cannot describe the happiness I feel every day that I open my eyes and can see so clearly now! The clinic was amazing, my treatment was amazing, everyone was so kind, understanding, patient and personable. I was talked through every single step of the way, so I knew exactly what to expect, which put all my nerves at ease. I can highly recommend the clinic! Huge Thank you!

It's been 5 years since I got my relex smile. I was -9 and -5 and now I am nearly eagle eyed. I am lucky to not have any side effects (like dry eye) and it's hard to imagine I used to be blind without glasses. The staff is super friendly and caring. 10/10 would recommend

I went for ReLEx SMILE surgery, which was painless and allowed me to completely recover my sight after too many years with glasses :) It was a great experience to be treated at the OFTUM clinic. Apart from the surgery itself, which went perfectly and was executed in few minutes, I would like to mention the top level assistance from all the staff, before, during and after the surgery. I came to oftum 2 times. The first time the clinic refused to do OP because I had quite a high eye pressure. I find that as a good sign and very ethical practice. I did some tests back home in around a year and after my doctor confirmed it’s safe to proceed and I came once again. I am very satisfied with the final results. Moreover the whole process was so easy, nice and delicate. I can’t stress enough how kind Renata, Christina and the doctor are. Fantastic service. The doctor is super confident and speaks many languages. I visited a few clinics in Germany to discuss the possible correction and can say honestly it is far away from my experience at Oftum. Not to mention it is way cheaper. On top of that you have a great opportunity to enjoy Prague. Thanks again!

Amazing experience. Oftum clinic staff were helpful throughout the entire time. From providing us information and answering all our questions. When we arrived at the clinic we were greeted warmly. We had the consultation and SMILE procedure in the same day. I was able to see right after the operation, and clearly later that night. The staff gave us directions on post op medication. Recomending this clinic to all my visually challenged friends.

Highly recommend this clinic. I had my Smile laser one week ago, my eyes are still healing but i can already clearly see and my diopters are now 0. After surgery I have received all instructions, drops, sunglasses and help I needed. All stuff is super friendly / professional and make surgery stressless experience. Thank you Oftum :)

Truth difficult times, when travelling starts to challenge us and we try to find our normal way of living, I decided to change my way of "how to see". February 2021 I travelled to Prague. First of all, thank you to Mrs. Renata Stoecker who answered all of my questions immediately. She gave me the courage to go on with my plan. After I arrived in Prague, everything felt perfect. Every step was explained and in the end, you leave with a smile and some sunglasses. Now a few month later I enjoy rainy walks every time and still smile when I see myself in the mirror without my glasses. Thank you to the medical future and the most friendly clinic team I met. I had my femto lasik yesterday and meanwhile I am back in germany. Mrs Stöcker is a real angel in this place. She cares a lot about how you feel and makes sure everything is safe and comfortable for you. They explained every step and I never felt alone or misunderstood. Also the surgeon spoke German and explained every step. It was so fast and I could already see better after the operation. Now, more than 24 hours later it's almost perfect. I have to do a therapy with 3 different drops, but my mobile phone is reminding me, also that is super easy. Treat yourself with a visit in this beautiful town, there is so much to SEE :) Highly recommended! Kind regards and thank you so much for my new life!
